Abstract

The present invention relates to a water supply device for a humidifier or purifier, and a humidifier and purifier including such a water supply device. The water supply device includes: a door pivotably connected to the purifier or humidifier to open or close an opening on a side wall of the purifier or humidifier in pivoting thereof; and a hopper that receives water from the watering vessel and guides the received water to a reservoir within the purifier or humidifier, wherein the hopper moves with the door from within the purifier or humidifier to an exterior thereof as the door moves from the closed position to the open position, and moves with the door from the exterior to the interior of the purifier or humidifier as the door moves from the open position to the closed position, through mechanical linkage.

Water supply device, humidifier and purifier including the same
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a water supply device for a humidifier or purifier, and a humidifier and purifier including such a water supply device.
Background
Conventional purifiers or humidifiers have a large water tank at the bottom thereof for continuously supplying water to a water tank. The humidifying filter screen is immersed in the water tank to adsorb moisture on the surface of the filter screen, and the air passes through the surface of the filter screen to carry away the moisture on the filter screen, so that the humidifying or purifying effect on the air is achieved.
However, the water tank becomes heavy after being filled with water, and moving the water tank back and forth causes inconvenience in use for a user.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a water supply device for a purifier or a humidifier, and a user can inject water into a water tank through the water supply device without opening the purifier or the humidifier, moving the water tank to be full of water and then reinstalling the water tank.
In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problem, the present invention provides a water supply apparatus comprising: a door pivotably connected to the purifier or humidifier to open or close an opening on a side wall of the purifier or humidifier in pivoting thereof; and a hopper that receives water from the watering vessel and guides the received water to a reservoir within the purifier or humidifier, wherein the hopper moves with the door from within the purifier or humidifier to an exterior thereof as the door moves from the closed position to the open position, and moves with the door from the exterior to the interior of the purifier or humidifier as the door moves from the open position to the closed position, through mechanical linkage.
According to one embodiment, the door may be a rectangular door, the lower edge of which is hinge-connected with the sidewall of the purifier or humidifier by a hinge shaft.
According to one embodiment, the water supply device may further include a catch provided on an outer surface of the door.
According to one embodiment, the watering device can further comprise a mechanical stop defining the open position of the door such that the door and the opening formed by the side wall of the purifier or humidifier snugly capture the refill container. The watering container may comprise a mineral water bottle of any one of 1 liter, 1.25 liter, 1.5 liter, or 2 liter.
According to one embodiment, the inner side of the door may have a pair of rib plates extending vertically, the rib plates having guide pins, and the hopper may have sliding grooves on both sides thereof for receiving the guide pins, the guide pins rotating about hinges of the door to move the hopper to a predetermined watering position through the sliding grooves during opening of the door, and the guide pins rotating about the hinges of the door to move the hopper to a predetermined retracted position through the sliding grooves during closing of the door.
According to one embodiment, the hopper may include a main sump in communication with the outlet port such that it receives water from the water addition vessel and directs it to the outlet port.
According to one embodiment, the bucket may further include an auxiliary water collection sump around the main water collection sump, and water in the auxiliary water collection sump flows toward the main water collection sump by gravity. The auxiliary water collection tank may further include a plurality of grid plates therein for dissipating kinetic energy of water splashed thereon and guiding the water into the main water collection tank.
The invention also provides a purifier and a humidifier comprising the water supply device.
The water supply device and the purifier and the humidifier comprising the water supply device can realize the following beneficial effects:
the water supply device and the purifier and the humidifier comprising the water supply device greatly facilitate the water supply of the purifier or the humidifier for users. The door of the water supply device is pulled open, the water bucket is linked with the door and moves out of the side wall of the purifier or the humidifier, and after water is added, the door is closed, and the water supply device can be normally used.
In a preferred embodiment, the watering device may further comprise a mechanical stop defining the open position of the door such that the door and the opening formed in the side wall of the purifier or humidifier snugly engage the refill container. The watering container may comprise a mineral water bottle of any one of 1 liter, 1.25 liter, 1.5 liter, or 2 liter. Thus, when water needs to be added, the mineral water bottle is only required to be opened and inserted into the water supply device to complete water adding.

As shown in fig. 1 to 4, a water supply device according to an embodiment of the present invention is used for supplying water to a purifier or a humidifier, and is installed on a sidewall of the purifier or humidifier. The watering apparatus includes a door 100 and a bucket 200.
The door 100 includes a door panel 101, a catch 102 for facilitating opening and closing of the door 100, and a hinge shaft 103 hinge-coupled to a sidewall of the purifier or humidifier. The material of the door 100 according to the present invention may be metal or a composite material, preferably a composite material in the present embodiment, and is formed by injection molding. The door 100 shown in fig. 1-4 is rectangular in shape, however, the invention is not so limited and the door 100 may be any other suitable shape, such as trapezoidal. While the door 100 is shown in fig. 1-4 as having a catch 102, alternatively, the door 100 may have any manner of pull or handle or the like known to those skilled in the art that facilitates opening the door 100. Fig. 1 to 4 show the door 100 having the hinge shaft 103, and alternatively, in another embodiment not shown, the door 100 having a shaft hole and the hinge shaft provided on the sidewall of the purifier or humidifier can achieve the same technical effects as the embodiment, and thus is within the scope of the present invention.
The door 100 is pivotably connected to a side wall of the humidifier or the purifier to open or close an opening (not shown) in the side wall of the humidifier or the purifier in pivoting thereof.
An inner side of the door 100 opposite to an outer side where the catcher 102 is provided may have a pair of rib plates 104 extending vertically, and the rib plates 104 have guide pins 105. In addition, in order to improve the strength of the door 100, one or more rib plates 106 protruding outward from the inner side of the door 100 may be further provided at the inner side.
The hopper 200 is designed to receive water from a water addition vessel and direct the received water to a water reservoir within a purifier or humidifier. The bucket moves with the coaming from within the purifier or humidifier to outside thereof as the door moves from the closed position to the open position, and moves with the coaming from outside to inside of the purifier or humidifier as the door moves from the open position to the closed position, through a mechanical linkage.
To this end, the bucket 200 includes a pair of sidewalls 201 corresponding to the pair of rib plates 104 of the door 100, and the sidewalls 201 include slide grooves 202 corresponding to the guide pins 105 of the door 100. The length of the slide groove 202 corresponds to the height variation of the guide pin 105 during opening and closing of the door 100, and the width of the slide groove 202 matches the size of the guide pin 105. Therefore, as the door 100 pivots up and down about its hinge shaft 103, the bucket 200 is brought into linkage by the sliding of the guide pin 105 in the slide groove 202. That is, during the opening of the door 100, the guide pin 105 rotates about the hinge 103 of the door 100 to move the hopper 200 to a predetermined watering position through the chute 202, and during the closing of the door 100, the guide pin 105 rotates about the hinge 103 of the door 100 to move the hopper 200 to a predetermined retracted position through the chute 202.
According to one embodiment, the bucket 200 may include a main sump 203 in communication with the outlet 204 such that it receives water from a water addition vessel (not shown) and directs it to the outlet 204.
According to one embodiment, the bucket 200 may further include a secondary sump 205 around the primary sump 203, and water in the secondary sump 205 flows toward the primary sump 203 under the influence of gravity. The secondary sump 205 may also include a plurality of louvers 206 therein for dissipating kinetic energy of water splashed thereon and directing the water into the primary sump 203.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2-4, the bucket 200 is comprised of two pieces, namely a bracket portion with a runner 202 and a bucket body portion disposed on the bracket. However, in one embodiment, not shown, the bucket 200 may be a single piece, and its chute 202 may include a non-through chute disposed in its side wall, or may include additional slides disposed in its side wall.
As described above, the door 100 and the bucket 200 according to the embodiment of the present invention are linked by the mechanical cooperation of the chute 202 and the guide pin 105, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the linkage of the door 100 and the bucket 200 may be achieved by any means known to those skilled in the art. For example, the bucket 200 is provided with a slide, and the door 100 and the bucket 200 are connected to each other by a hinge-connected push-pull rod; even the door 100 and the bucket 200 can be linked by a fixed connection.
According to one embodiment, the watering apparatus may further comprise a mechanical stop defining the open position of the door 100, such that the door 100 and the opening formed by the side wall of the purifier or humidifier snugly capture a watering container (not shown). The watering container may comprise a mineral water bottle of any one of 1 liter, 1.25 liter, 1.5 liter, or 2 liter. The mechanical limit of the door 100 is not particularly limited and any suitable limit means known to those skilled in the art may be employed, and in the case of the present embodiment, the door 100 includes a pair of baffles 107 vertically protruding from a pair of rib plates 104, and the pair of baffles 107 contact the inner side of the side walls of the purifier or humidifier to achieve the maximum opening limit of the door 100.
According to another aspect of the invention, a purifier and a humidifier comprising the water supply device are also provided.
The water supply device and the purifier and the humidifier comprising the water supply device can realize the following beneficial effects:
the water supply device and the purifier and the humidifier comprising the water supply device greatly facilitate the water supply of the purifier or the humidifier for users. a hopper for receiving water from the water adding container and guiding the received water to a water storage tank in the purifier or humidifier, wherein

4. A watering device according to claim 3, wherein the watering container comprises a mineral water bottle of any one of 1 litre, 1.25 litre, 1.5 litre or 2 litre.
5. The water supply of claim 1, wherein the hopper includes a main sump in communication with the outlet port, such that the main sump receives water from a water addition vessel and directs the water to the outlet port.
6. The water supply of claim 5, wherein the hopper further comprises a secondary water collection trough around the primary water collection trough, water in the secondary water collection trough flowing under gravity to the primary water collection trough.
7. The water supply system as claimed in claim 6, wherein the sub-sump further comprises a plurality of louvers therein for dissipating kinetic energy of water splashed on the louvers and guiding the water into the main sump.
8. A purifier comprising a water supply device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7.
9. A humidifier comprising a water supply as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7.
