Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of intelligent pipelines, in particular to a method, a server and a system for controlling a roaming user to access a network.
Background
In international roaming of LTE (Long Term Evolution), most operators adopt the S8HR (S8Home Routed, S8Home routing) scheme of GSMA (global system for mobile communications association), i.e., traffic is detoured from the visited domain SGW (Serving GateWay) to the Home domain PGW (PDN GateWay).
In the prior art, when a roaming user requests to access a visited domain network, a visited domain MME (mobility management Entity) acquires status information of the roaming user from a home domain HSS, and if a user status returned by the home domain HSS is not accessible, for example, due charge, the roaming user is not successfully accessed. That is, the inability of the roaming user to access the network is determined by the home domain, and the visited domain is unable to access the roaming user autonomously.

It should be noted that: like reference numbers and letters refer to like items in the following figures, and thus, once an item is defined in one figure, further discussion thereof is not required in subsequent figures.
The invention aims at certain specific scenes, for example, the user roams from abroad to the domestic, or the user roams from the foreign province to the province, and the network of the domestic or the province has the requirement to limit the network access of certain specific users, but the network access cannot be realized according to the existing mode. The inventor proposes to set a server, such as a black and white list server, locally and preset configuration information in the server to implement network access control of a visited domain (i.e. local) to a roaming user.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating an embodiment of a method for controlling a roaming user to access a network according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the steps of:
step 102, a server receives an access control request sent by a local MME, where the access control request carries a user identifier of a roaming user initiating an attach request.
The subscriber identity may include, but is not limited to, an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) or a mobile station integrated services digital network number (MSISDN).
And 104, the server judges whether the roaming user has the network access qualification or not according to the user identification of the roaming user and the preset configuration information.
Here, the preset configuration information may include a preset blacklist or a preset whitelist. For example, the server may determine whether the user identifier of the roaming user is in a preset blacklist; if the user identification of the roaming user is not in the preset blacklist, judging that the roaming user has network access qualification; and if the user identification of the roaming user is in the preset blacklist, judging that the roaming user does not have the network access qualification. Similarly, the server may also determine whether the roaming user qualifies for network access by determining whether the user identifier of the roaming user is in a preset white list.
In practical application, the server may further add, modify, or delete the preset configuration information in response to a user operation. For example, if network access restriction is desired for a specific user, the local operator may add a user identifier of the specific user in a preset blacklist; or, the user who should perform network access restriction is not restricted, but the user who should not perform network access restriction is restricted, that is, the preset blacklist is incorrect, the preset blacklist can be modified; alternatively, if the network access restriction on a specific user is to be removed, the user identifier of the user in the preset blacklist may be deleted.
And step 106, the server sends the judgment result to the local MME so as to control the network access of the roaming user.
If the judgment result shows that the roaming user does not have the network access qualification, the MME can return an error code to the eNB, so that the eNB rejects the roaming user to access the local network; if the roaming user has the network access qualification, the MME may notify the eNB to allow the roaming user to access the local network, so that a subsequent standard attach procedure may be performed.
In this embodiment, the server is locally set in the visited domain, and the configuration information is preset in the server, so that the roaming user initiating the attach request can be actively controlled for network access, and the blank that the skill type of the roaming user cannot be controlled in the S8 roaming scene in the LTE network is filled.
The method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to EPC (4G core network), and can assist local public security authorities or certain security units to limit the local network access of a specific user.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating another embodiment of a method for controlling a roaming user to access a network according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the method further comprises the following steps compared to the embodiment shown in fig. 1:
in step 202, the local MME receives an attach request initiated by the roaming user forwarded by the local base station eNB.
After the roaming user initiates an attach request to the local eNB, the eNB may forward the attach request to the appropriate local MME.
Step 204, the local MME initiates an authentication request to the home subscriber server HSS of the roaming user.
The HSS may return an authentication response, e.g., authentication success or failure for the roaming user.
Step 206, after the authentication is successful, the local MME sends an access control request to the server, where the access control request carries the user identifier of the roaming user initiating the attach request.
The operations of subsequent steps 102 to 106 may then be performed to implement network access control for the roaming user.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating an application of the method for controlling a roaming user to access a network according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the complete flow of controlling the roaming user to access the network is as follows:
step 301, a roaming user UE initiates an attach request to a local eNB;
step 302, the eNB forwards the attach request to the appropriate MME;
step 303, the MME sends an authentication request to the HSS of the roaming user;
step 304, the HSS returns an authentication result;
step 305, the MME initiates an access control request to a local server, e.g. a black and white server;
step 306, the server returns the access control result, if the roaming user does not have the network access qualification, step 307-step 308 are executed; if the roaming user has the network access qualification, go to step 309;
step 307, the MME returns an error code to the eNB;
step 308, the eNB refuses the roaming user to access the local network;
step 309, continue the standard attach procedure. Since the standard attachment procedure is not the focus of the present invention, it is not described herein again.
In the present specification, the embodiments are described in a progressive manner, each embodiment focuses on differences from other embodiments, and the same or similar parts in the embodiments are referred to each other. The invention also provides a server and a system for controlling the roaming user to access the network, and for the embodiments of the server and the system, the description is simple because the embodiments of the server and the system basically correspond to the embodiments of the method, and related points can be referred to the partial description of the embodiments of the method.
