Abstract
The invention discloses an antenna for a terminal and the terminal with the same, wherein the antenna comprises a main metal frame, a first corner metal frame and a second corner metal frame, the main metal frame is an antenna main radiator, one end of the main metal frame is connected to a main board of the terminal through a feed end, the first corner metal frame is arranged on one side of the main metal frame, which is adjacent to the feed end, a first gap is defined between one end of the first corner metal frame and the main metal frame, the other end of the first corner metal frame is connected to the main board, the second corner metal frame is arranged on one side of the main metal frame, which is far away from the feed end, a second gap is defined between one end of the second corner metal frame and the main metal frame, and a third. Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of terminals, in particular to an antenna for a terminal and a terminal with the same.
Background
In the related art, the design of the antenna with the metal structure of the mobile phone mostly includes two slots respectively formed on the upper and lower frames to complete the layout design of the antenna, but the low-frequency bandwidth and efficiency of the main antenna adopting such design are usually affected by the metal frame at the outer corner of the slot, so that the efficiency of the main antenna is reduced and the low-frequency performance is not good.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to solving at least one of the problems of the prior art. Therefore, the present invention provides an antenna for a terminal, which can effectively improve the efficiency of a main metal frame.
The invention also provides two terminals with the antenna.
An antenna for a terminal according to a first aspect of the present invention comprises: the two ends of the main metal frame in the length direction are respectively a first end and a second end, the first end is connected to the main board of the terminal through a feed end, and the main metal frame is an antenna main radiating body; the first metal frame is arranged on one side, adjacent to the first end, of the main metal frame in the length direction, one end of the first metal frame extends towards the first end, a first gap is defined between the first end and the first end, and the other end of the first metal frame is connected to the main board; and the second corner metal frame is arranged on one side, adjacent to the second end, of the length direction of the main metal frame, one end of the second corner metal frame extends towards the direction of the second end, a second gap is defined between the one end of the second corner metal frame and the second end, and a third gap is defined between the other end of the second corner metal frame and the main board.
According to the antenna for the terminal, the second corner metal frame is disconnected from the main board by arranging the third gap on the second corner metal frame, so that the adverse effect of the second corner metal frame on the main metal frame can be effectively improved, the efficiency of the main metal frame is improved, and the low-frequency performance is enhanced.
In some embodiments, a first slit that prevents the second corner metal frame from being broken is formed in the first corner metal frame, and an opening position of the first slit and an opening position of the third slit are symmetrically arranged with respect to a center line in a length direction of the main metal frame.
In some embodiments, the second corner metal bezel and the first corner metal bezel are symmetrically arranged with respect to a center line in a length direction of the main metal bezel.
In some embodiments, at least one fourth slit is further formed on the second corner metal frame to break the second corner metal frame.
In some embodiments, a switch for controlling the connection and disconnection between the second corner metal frame and the main board is disposed in the third slot.
In some embodiments, the second corner metal frame further has at least one second slot formed thereon to prevent the second corner metal frame from being broken.
In some embodiments, the upper side and the lower side of the main board are respectively provided with the antenna.
A terminal according to the second aspect of the invention comprises a metal bezel comprising an antenna for a terminal according to the first aspect of the invention.
According to the terminal of the invention, the antenna for the terminal of the first aspect is arranged, so that the overall performance of the terminal is improved.
In some embodiments, the terminal is a mobile terminal.
A terminal according to the third aspect of the invention comprises a metal back cover comprising an antenna for a terminal according to the first aspect of the invention.

The antenna according to the embodiment of the present invention is used for a terminal, where the terminal may be a mobile terminal (e.g., a mobile phone, a tablet computer, etc.) or a fixed terminal (e.g., a kiosk, etc.), the terminal (e.g., the mobile phone) may include a main board 4, a metal bezel and/or a metal rear cover, and both the metal bezel and the metal rear cover may include the antenna according to the embodiment of the present invention, where the antenna may be disposed on an upper side and/or a lower side of the main board 4, referring to fig. 1 to 3.
As shown in fig. 1, the antenna according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a main metal frame 11, a first corner metal frame 12, and a second corner metal frame 13. The main metal frame 11, the first corner metal frame 12, and the second corner metal frame 13 are all made of metal.
As shown in fig. 1, two ends of the main metal frame 11 in the length direction are a first end 11a and a second end 11b, and a first corner metal frame 12 and a second corner metal frame 13 are respectively disposed on two sides of the main metal frame 11 in the length direction, wherein the first corner metal frame 12 is disposed on one side (for example, the left side shown in fig. 1) adjacent to the first end 11a in the length direction of the main metal frame 11, and the second corner metal frame 13 is disposed on one side (for example, the right side shown in fig. 1) adjacent to the second end 11b in the length direction of the main metal frame 11.
For example, in the example of fig. 1, the main metal frame 11 extends along a straight line in the horizontal direction, the left end of the main metal frame 11 is a first end 11a, the right end of the main metal frame 11 is a second end 11b, and the first corner metal frame 12 and the second corner metal frame 13 are both substantially formed in an "L" shape and are respectively disposed on the left and right sides of the main metal frame 11, wherein the first corner metal frame 12 is disposed on the left side of the main metal frame 11, and the second corner metal frame 13 is disposed on the right side of the main metal frame 11.
Referring to fig. 1, the main metal frame 11 is an antenna main radiator, the first end 11a is connected to the motherboard 4 through the feeding end 3, the one end 12a of the first corner metal frame 12 extends toward the first end 11a and defines a first gap 21 with the first end 11a, the other end 12b of the first corner metal frame 12 is connected to the motherboard 4, and thus, the first corner metal frame 12 may be a parasitic antenna, the one end 13a of the second corner metal frame 13 extends toward the second end 11b and defines a second gap 22 with the second end 11b, and a third gap 23 is defined between the other end 13b of the second corner metal frame 13 and the motherboard 4.
Here, it should be noted that, in the description herein, the "slit" refers to: the parts on both sides of the gap are completely disconnected, and the 'gap' refers to that: so that the parts on both sides of the slot are not completely disconnected and still connected.
According to the antenna for the terminal provided by the embodiment of the invention, the second corner metal frame 13 is arranged, and the second corner metal frame 13 and the first corner metal frame 12 can be arranged in an axial symmetry manner, so that the whole structure of the antenna is attractive in appearance, and the third gap 23 is formed between the second corner metal frame 13 and the main board 4 and is not connected, so that the third gap 23 can effectively improve the adverse effect of the second corner metal frame 13 on the main metal frame 11, and the efficiency of the main metal frame 11 is improved.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the second corner metal frame 13 and the first corner metal frame 12 are symmetrically arranged with respect to a center line in a length direction of the main metal frame 11. Therefore, the whole antenna is attractive in appearance and atmosphere. For example, in the example of fig. 2, the main metal frame 11 extends along a straight line in the left-right direction, the first corner metal frame 12 extends horizontally from right to left and then extends in the vertical direction, and the second corner metal frame 13 extends horizontally from left to right and then extends in the vertical direction, so as to be symmetrical to the structure of the first corner metal frame 12. Here, it should be noted that the symmetrical arrangement is to be understood in a broad sense, and when the structures of the first corner metal frame 12 and the second corner metal frame 13 are substantially symmetrical and slightly different in detail, the first corner metal frame 12 and the second corner metal frame 13 are to be understood as being symmetrically arranged.
Referring to fig. 3, a first slit 24 that prevents the first corner metal frame 12 from being broken is formed in the first corner metal frame 12, that is, the first slit 24 is formed as a groove opened in the first corner metal frame 12, and only the groove is opened instead of a gap, so that the first corner metal frame 12 is ensured to be continuous and complete without being opened into a multi-segment and multi-segment structure, so as to ensure that the performance of the first corner metal frame 12 is good, wherein the opening positions of the first slit 24 and the opening positions of the third slit 23 are symmetrically arranged about a center line in the length direction of the main metal frame 11. Therefore, the first slot 24 configured as a pseudo slot is opened in the first corner metal frame 12, so that the overall structure of the antenna is symmetrical and beautiful.
Further, at least one fourth slit for breaking the second corner metal frame 13 is further formed on the second corner metal frame 13, that is, a plurality of fourth slits configured as real slits are formed on the second corner metal frame 13, so that the second corner metal frame 13 can be broken into a plurality of sections and a plurality of sections, and thus, the adverse effect of the second metal frame on the main metal frame 11 can be further improved.
Of course, preferably, when the second corner metal frame 13 is formed with a plurality of fourth slits, a plurality of dummy slits may be correspondingly formed at symmetrical positions on the first corner metal frame 12, so as to ensure that the structure of the first corner metal frame 12 is symmetrical to that of the second corner metal frame 13, and the appearance is beautiful.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a switch for controlling the connection and disconnection between the other end 13b of the second corner metal frame 13 and the main board 4 is disposed in the third slot 23, and the connection and disconnection of the third slot 23 may change the frequency offset of the main metal frame 11, so that the efficiency of the main metal frame 11 may be optimized by controlling the connection and disconnection of the switch.
For example, in the example of fig. 4, a frequency-efficiency curve of the main metal frame 11 is shown, wherein the abscissa represents the frequency f, the ordinate represents the efficiency η, the curve a1 represents the frequency-efficiency curve of the main metal frame 11 when the third slot 23 is connected and the second corner metal frame 13 is connected to the main board 4, the curve a2 represents the frequency-efficiency curve of the main metal frame 11 when the second slot 22 is disconnected and the second corner metal frame 13 is not connected to the main board 4, as is apparent from the figure, when the frequency is less than 775MHz, the third slot 23 is controlled to be blocked (i.e. the second corner metal frame 13 is not connected to the main board 4), when the frequency is less than 845MHz and greater than 775MHz, the third slot 23 is controlled to be connected (i.e. the second corner metal frame 13 is connected to the main board 4), when the frequency is greater than 845MHz, the third slot 23 is controlled to be blocked (i.e. the second corner metal frame 13 is not connected to the main, therefore, the efficiency of the main metal frame 11 can be effectively improved, and the low-frequency performance of the main metal frame 11 is improved.
Preferably, when the switch is disposed in the third gap 23, a fourth gap for disconnecting the second corner metal frame 13 is preferably not processed on the second corner metal frame 13, otherwise, the function and function of the switch will be affected, but at least one second slot for disconnecting the second corner metal frame 13 may be processed on the second corner metal frame 13, that is, a plurality of second slots configured as dummy gaps may be processed on the second corner metal frame 13, so that the structure of the second corner metal frame 13 may be more beautiful.
In the following, referring to fig. 1 to fig. 3, a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention is briefly described, wherein the mobile terminal is taken as a mobile phone for example.
The mobile phone can comprise a metal frame, and the antenna can be the top and/or the bottom of the metal frame. The mobile phone may further include a metal rear cover (e.g., a battery rear cover), where the metal rear cover includes a main body (e.g., which may be disposed to overlap with the main board 4 shown in fig. 1) and an antenna, and the main body is connected to the main board 4 of the mobile phone. The antenna comprises a main metal frame 11, a first corner metal frame 12 and a second corner metal frame 13, wherein the main metal frame 11 can be arranged above and/or below the body part in parallel and is arranged at a distance from the body part, the main metal frame 11 is a main antenna radiator with low frequency, such as certain frequency bands between 700MHz and 960MHz, and the left end of the main metal frame 11 is connected with the mainboard 4 through the feeding end 3.

According to the slotting design method provided by the invention, the adverse effect of the second corner metal frame 13 on the main metal frame 11 can be effectively improved, and the efficiency and the low-frequency performance of the main metal frame 11 are improved. In addition, it should be noted that the frequency shift of the main metal frame 11 caused by the opening of the third slot 23 on the second corner metal frame 13 can be tuned in some conventional manner. Other constructions and operations of handsets according to embodiments of the present invention are known to those of ordinary skill in the art and will not be described in detail herein.

5. The antenna for the terminal of claim 1, wherein the second corner metal frame further has at least one second slot formed thereon to prevent the second corner metal frame from being broken.
6. The antenna for a terminal according to claim 1, wherein the upper and lower sides of the main board are provided with the antenna, respectively.
7. A terminal, characterized in that it comprises a metal bezel comprising an antenna for a terminal according to any of claims 1-6.
8. A terminal, characterized in that it comprises a metal back cover comprising an antenna for a terminal according to any of claims 1-6.
9. A terminal according to claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the terminal is a mobile terminal.
