In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in further detail below.
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, fig. 1 is a front plan view of an antenna device according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 2 is a back plan view of the antenna device according to the embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the antenna device according to the embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view along AA' of FIG. 1. In the embodiment of the invention, the antenna device is used for communication electronic equipment, and the communication electronic equipment is provided with a circuit main board.
The antenna device includes: a first conductor layer 11 and a second conductor layer 12 which are provided to face each other; an insulating dielectric layer 13 located between the first conductor layer 11 and the second conductor layer 12; the first conductor layer 11 is used for being arranged opposite to the circuit main board and fixed on the main board circuit; the second conductor layer 12 has at least a first slit K1 and a second slit K2 perpendicular to each other. The first conductor layer 11 and the second conductor layer 12 are electrically connected by a feeding terminal 14.
Alternatively, the first conductor layer 11 and the second conductor layer 12 may be copper layers. In order to meet the requirement of the operating band of the antenna device, the dielectric constant of the insulating medium layer 13 needs to be relatively large, and generally, the insulating medium layer 13 may be made of an insulating material with a dielectric constant greater than 10.
The first conductor layer 11 is used for being fixed on a circuit board of the communication electronic device. As shown in fig. 1-3, the first direction Z, the second direction X, and the third direction Y are set to be perpendicular to each other two by two to form a three-dimensional rectangular coordinate system. The first slit K1 extends in the second direction X, and the second slit K2 extends in the third direction Y. The second direction X and the third direction Y are both parallel to the first conductive layer 11 and the second conductive layer 12. The first direction Z may be arranged to be directed from the first conductor layer 11 towards the second conductor layer 12.
The provision of the first slit K1 and the second slit K2 perpendicular to each other can realize dual polarization of the antenna device.
In the antenna device provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the radiation direction of the antenna device is directed from the first conductor layer to the second conductor layer. The interference of the electromagnetic wave of the antenna device to other antenna devices on the main board circuit can be greatly reduced.
In the antenna device provided by the embodiment of the present invention, by adjusting the positions of the first slot K1 and the second slot K2 in the second conductor layer 12 and adjusting the sizes of the first slot K1 and the second slot K2, when the antenna device provided by the embodiment of the present invention is used as a radio frequency identification antenna, the operating band can be 902MHz-928MHz, and the antenna device has a larger operating bandwidth.
When the antenna device is used as a radio frequency identification antenna in the embodiment of the invention, the working waveband of the antenna device needs to exceed 900MHz, and the antenna device needs to have a larger area. For the existing communication electronic equipment, the size is generally small, in order to enable the operating band of the antenna device to meet the requirement, the antenna device needs to have a sufficiently large area in the communication electronic equipment with the small size, and the pattern of the antenna device is set to be similar to the pattern of the circuit main board of the communication electronic equipment, so as to ensure that the antenna device needs to have the sufficiently large area. Generally, a circuit board of the communication electronic device is rectangular, and the antenna device is rectangular, so that the space of the communication electronic device is fully utilized to arrange the antenna device with a large area.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the second conductive layer 12 is rectangular in a first direction Z, and the first direction Z is perpendicular to the first conductive layer 11 and the second conductive layer 12. The first conductor layer 11 has a rectangular shape similar to the second conductor layer 12. The first slit K1 is parallel to the long side of the rectangle, and both ends of the first slit K1 are located inside the rectangle. The second slotted K2 is parallel to the short side of the rectangle, and one end of the second slotted K2 is located on one long side of the rectangle, and the other end is located in the rectangle.
In other embodiments, the first slit K1 and the second slit K2 may be arranged perpendicularly across. The positions of the first slit K1 and the second slit K2 in the second conductor layer 12 may be set as required.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic layout position diagram of an antenna device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and when the antenna device 21 is used as a radio frequency identification antenna according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the antenna device 21 is fixed on a circuit board 24 of a communication electronic device. The second conductor layer of the antenna device 21 is disposed toward the circuit board 24.
The diversity antenna 23 and the main antenna 22 are respectively disposed at both ends of the circuit main board 24. The diversity antenna 23 and the main antenna 22 are GSM antennas. When the antenna device in the embodiment of the invention is used as a radio frequency identification antenna, the communication frequency of the antenna device is close to that of a global system for mobile communication (GSM) antenna, and the antenna device and the GSM antenna have serious interference problems. In order to reduce the interference between the antenna device 21 and the GSM antenna, the antenna device 21 is disposed at a position intermediate between the diversity antenna 23 and the main antenna 22.
The communication electronics includes a battery module secured to the circuit board 24. The antenna device 21 is fixed on a side of the battery module away from the circuit board 24. The battery module is not shown in fig. 4.
Optionally, the antenna device may be configured to have a low profile design, such that the thickness of the antenna device in the first direction Z is 1mm to 2mm, which facilitates attachment to a corresponding location of the communication electronic device, such as the back of the battery module or the inner surface of the rear housing.
In the antenna device according to the embodiment of the present invention, the first slot K1 and the second slot K2 that are perpendicular to each other are disposed on the second conductor layer of the radio frequency electric wire, and by adjusting the positions and the sizes of the first slot K1 and the second slot K2, the resonant frequency formed by the first slot K1 and the resonant frequency formed by the second slot K2 can be overlapped with each other within a required operating frequency, thereby increasing the bandwidth of the antenna device.
Meanwhile, the overlapping area of the two slotted resonance frequencies is dual-polarized, and a dual-polarized antenna device is formed, so that one part of the frequency band of the antenna device is vertically polarized, and the other part of the frequency band of the antenna device is horizontally polarized. Therefore, when the antenna device is communicated with the tag, no matter where the tag is located, the polarization can correspond to the tag, and the tag can be conveniently identified.
In the antenna device with the structure according to the embodiment of the present invention, the radiation direction of the signal can be the direction from the first conductor layer 11 to the second conductor layer 12, so that the interference of the signal of the antenna device to other antenna devices at two ends of the circuit board of the communication electronic device can be reduced.
By adopting the insulating medium layer with high dielectric constant and the double-slit design, the size of the antenna device can be only 0.25 lambda0,λ0Is a constant. Whereas the size of a conventional antenna arrangement is typically 0.5 lambda0The size of the antenna device is greatly reduced. Although the size of the antenna device is reduced, since the bandwidth is expanded by combining the resonant frequencies of the two slots, the bandwidth of the antenna device is not affected, and the efficiency of the antenna device can be ensured.
The antenna device realizes a narrow-bandwidth high-resonance working mode through two slotted designs, and other frequency bands outside the working frequency band have space filtering characteristics, so that the interference to the GSM antenna device is reduced. The antenna device is an antenna device with directional radiation, the radiation direction is the direction in which the first conductor layer points to the second conductor layer, and the antenna device can be arranged on the back of a display screen or a battery module, so that the interference to a GSM antenna is reduced. In the embodiment of the present invention, the positions of the first slit K1 and the second slit K2 are not limited to the above embodiment, and the positions of the first slit K1 and the second slit K2 and the sizes of the two may be arranged according to the specific shape and area of the second conductor layer 12, so as to meet the requirement of the operating frequency band. The shapes of the first conductor layer 11 and the second conductor layer 12 are not limited to rectangular shapes, and may be geometric shapes such as square, circle, and ellipse.
The design principle of the antenna device will be described below by taking the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer as an example.
The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer for known design parameters. First, an insulating dielectric layer having a high dielectric constant (dielectric constant greater than 10) is used between the first conductor layer and the second conductor layer, and a first slit is formed in a direction (second direction X) in which the second conductor layer is parallel to the long side, thereby miniaturizing the antenna device. In this case, the antenna device is a single polarization with a narrow bandwidth, the polarization direction is perpendicular to the long side of the second conductor layer, i.e., the polarization direction is parallel to the third direction Y, and the resonance frequency and bandwidth curves are as shown in fig. 5.
Fig. 5 is a graph of resonant frequency and bandwidth provided by an embodiment of the present invention, in fig. 5, the horizontal axis represents frequency in GHz, and the vertical axis represents gain in dB. At this time, due to the miniaturized design, the bandwidth of the first slotted monopole antenna device is less than 20MHz near-6 db, and the required 902MHz-928MHz band cannot be covered at this time.
When a second slot is opened, perpendicular to the first slot, a resonance in another frequency band is formed, which is also a narrow bandwidth single polarization, and the polarization direction is parallel to the second direction X, the resonance frequency and bandwidth curve is shown in fig. 6.
Fig. 6 is another graph of resonant frequency and bandwidth provided by an embodiment of the present invention, and in fig. 6, the horizontal axis represents frequency in GHz and the vertical axis represents gain in dB. The antenna device now has two resonant frequency bands due to the two perpendicular slots, with two troughs for the curve in fig. 6.
The operating frequency band and the bandwidth of the antenna device can be adjusted by adjusting the size (such as the length) of the slots and the position in the second conductor layer, so that the resonant frequencies of the two slots are overlapped with each other in a required operating frequency band, the bandwidth is increased, the operating frequency band covers the 902MHz-928MHz band, and the antenna device with the resonant frequency and bandwidth curves shown in fig. 7 can be finally formed.
Fig. 7 is a graph of the resonance frequency and bandwidth provided by an embodiment of the present invention, and in fig. 7, the horizontal axis represents frequency in GHz and the vertical axis represents gain in dB. At the moment, the antenna device is a dual-polarized antenna device with two vertical slots, and the working frequency band covers the 902MHz-928MHz band near-6 db, so that the bandwidth requirement of the radio frequency identification antenna is met. Thus, the antenna device is vertically polarized in one part of the frequency band and horizontally polarized in the other part of the frequency band.
The antenna device provided by the embodiment of the invention is used as a radio frequency identification antenna and a label for actual measurement, compared with the traditional single-polarization antenna device, the performance is obviously improved, and the experimental result is shown in the following table 1.
TABLE 1
As can be seen from table 1, the dual polarization performance of the antenna device according to the embodiment of the present invention can better meet the requirement of a reader. It should be noted that the operating bandwidth of the antenna device includes, but is not limited to, the operating bandwidth of the RFID antenna device (902MHz-928 MHz). The resonance and polarization can be changed by adjusting the slotted design of the antenna device, and the miniaturization and dual-polarization characteristics of the antenna device with different working bandwidths are realized.
