Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application better understood and make the above objects, features and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more comprehensible, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application are described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic flow chart of a multi-machine backup implementation method provided in an embodiment of the present application is shown, where the multi-machine backup implementation method may be applied to a target access device in a network including two or more access devices, and as shown in fig. 1, the multi-machine backup implementation method may include the following steps:
In the embodiment of the present application, the target access device does not refer to a fixed access device, but may be any access device of the two or more access devices; similarly, the target user terminal does not refer to a fixed user terminal, but may refer to any user terminal accessing the network through the two or two access devices, and the following description of the embodiment of the present application is not repeated.
In this embodiment of the present application, in order to improve networking reliability, two or more access devices may be deployed in networking, where the two or more access devices may include one primary access device, and the other access devices are standby access devices, and an EVPN (Ethernet Virtual Private Network) neighbor relationship is established between the primary access device and the standby access devices, so as to implement data backup between the primary access device and the standby access devices.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the master access device in the two or more access devices may be determined by the two or more access devices through election, or may be configured manually by a user (e.g., an administrator), and specific implementations thereof are not described herein again.
In the embodiment of the present application, when a user terminal (such as a VM (Virtual Machine)) is online, an authentication request message needs to be forwarded through a host access device, an authentication response message returned by an authentication server is received through the host access device, and whether the user terminal is online is determined according to an authentication result.
Correspondingly, when the target access device is the master access device and it is detected that the target user terminal passes the authentication and is on-line, the target access device needs to generate session information corresponding to the target user terminal.
The specific implementation of generating the session information for the target user terminal by the target access device and the specific content of the session information may refer to related descriptions in the prior art, which are not described herein again in this embodiment of the present application.
In addition, in this embodiment of the present application, when the target access device detects that the target user terminal passes the authentication online, in addition to the session information, an ARP (Address resolution protocol) information and routing information of the target user terminal need to be generated, and the generated routing information is issued to the remote device.
And 102, synchronizing the session information corresponding to the target user terminal to an EVPN neighbor of the target access equipment so that the EVPN neighbor of the target access equipment stores the session information of the target user terminal.
In this embodiment of the present application, in order to implement data backup between the master and slave access devices, after the target access device serving as the master access device generates the session information corresponding to the target user terminal, the session information needs to be synchronized to its EVPN neighbor (i.e., each slave access device in this embodiment of the present application) to implement backup of the session information.
In the embodiment of the present application, since only the master access device needs to forward data in the networking, when the slave access device receives the session information synchronized with the master access device, the slave access device may not generate the corresponding ARP information and routing information.
Correspondingly, in one embodiment of the present application, when the target access device is a standby access device and receives the session information of the user terminal synchronized with the master access device, a backup identifier is set for the session information of the user terminal, and a corresponding session entry is generated according to the session information; the backup identifier is used for indicating the access device that the session information is the session information synchronized by the master access device.
In this embodiment, when the standby access device receives the session information synchronized with the master access device, the standby access device may set a backup identifier for the session information (the specific form of the backup identifier may be predetermined).
For the session information with the backup identifier, the standby access equipment can refuse to generate the corresponding ARP information and routing information according to the session information, and only needs to store the received session information.
In this embodiment, the standby access device may generate a corresponding session entry according to the received session information, and store the session information synchronized with the master access device in the form of the session entry.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, after the standby access device receives the session information synchronized by the master access device and sets the backup identifier for the session information, it may also generate ARP information and routing information according to the session information, and after the standby access device generates the routing information according to the session information synchronized by the master access device, it may issue the routing information to the remote device or not issue the routing information to the remote device.
In the case that the standby access device issues the message to the remote device, the remote device may select to forward the message sent to the user terminal through the main access device or the standby access device according to a specific policy, and specific implementation thereof is not described herein again.
It can be seen that, in the method flow shown in fig. 1, a primary access device is determined in two or more access devices in a networking, and an EVPN neighbor is established between the primary access device and a backup access device to implement data backup between the primary access device and the backup access device, so that the access device 1 can be implemented: and the data backup of N (N is an integer more than or equal to 1) improves the expandability of the data backup.
Further, in the embodiment of the present application, in order to ensure reliability of traffic statistics information and avoid loss of the traffic statistics information due to a single access device failure, the traffic statistics information also needs to implement multi-machine backup in the above-mentioned networking, considering that in a specific scenario, network access of a user terminal needs to perform traffic statistics as a charging basis.
Correspondingly, in this embodiment of the present application, when the target access device is the primary access device, the traffic of the user terminal may be counted, and the traffic statistic information is periodically synchronized to the EVPN neighbor of the target access device, that is, synchronized to the standby access device, and the standby access device stores the received traffic statistic information.
Further, in this embodiment of the present application, when the target access device is a master access device and detects that the target user terminal is offline, the forwarding table information of the target user terminal stored locally needs to be deleted, and offline notification information for the target user terminal is sent to the EVPN neighbor of the target access device, so that the EVPN neighbor of the target access device deletes the session information of the target user terminal stored locally.
Specifically, in this embodiment, when the primary access device detects that the user terminal is offline, the primary access device needs to delete locally stored forwarding entry information of the user terminal, such as ARP information and FIB (forwarding information base), on one hand, and on the other hand, needs to notify each secondary access device that the user terminal is offline, so that each secondary access device deletes locally stored session information of the user terminal.
Further, in this embodiment of the present application, when the target access device is determined as a new master access device by the standby access device, the target access device may generate corresponding ARP information and routing information according to the session information of the locally stored user terminal, and issue the routing information to the remote device.
Specifically, in this embodiment, when the primary access device fails, a new primary access device needs to be determined again from the standby access devices.
The new main access device can be determined by election of each auxiliary access device or can be manually configured by a user.
For example, taking a manual configuration example of a user, the user may configure the priority of each access device in the networking in advance, and after the networking starts to operate, each access device may default that the access device with the highest current priority is the master access device, and the other access devices are the standby access devices; when the master access device fails at a certain time, each of the slave access devices may determine a new master access device from the access devices with the highest priority among the other access devices except the access device with the failed master access device.
In this embodiment, when the target access device is determined as a new master access device by the standby access device, the target access device may generate corresponding ARP information and routing information according to the session information of the locally stored user terminal, and after the target access device generates the ARP information and the routing information, the target access device needs to issue the routing information to the remote device, so that the remote device updates the corresponding routing information, and forwards a packet sent to the target user terminal through the new master access device.
In addition, in this embodiment, when the target access device becomes a new primary access device, the session information of the newly generated user terminal and the newly counted traffic statistic information and the like may be synchronized to the EVPN neighbor and backed up by the EVPN neighbor as described in the above method flow.
The EVPN neighbor between the new primary access device and the standby access device may be established after the new primary access device is determined, or may be established before the new primary access device is determined, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application.
In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application, the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application are described below with reference to specific application scenarios.
Referring to fig. 2, for an architectural schematic diagram of a specific application scenario provided in the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 2, in the application scenario, taking the foregoing networking as an example of a BRAS (Broadband Remote Access Server) networking, assuming that the BRAS networking includes 3 BRAS devices (BRAS device 1, BRAS device 2, and BRAS device 3), and the BRAS device 1 is a primary BRAS device, the BRAS device 1 and the BRAS device 2 and the BRAS device 3 respectively establish EVPN neighbors through a BGP (border gateway Protocol) Protocol (accordingly, the BRAS device 1, the BRAS device 2, and the BRAS device 3 may respectively serve as VTEPs (Virtual Extensible Local Area Network) networks in an EVPN Network, VXLAN End Point, VXLAN tunnel terminal) 1, a VTEP2, and a VTEP3), and the synchronization between the BRAS devices and the primary BRAS device is based on data synchronization. Ports connected with three access devices by the VM1 are aggregation ports, and the aggregation ports select one port as a main port (a port connected with the main BRAS device by the VM1 is a main port) for use by differentiating the priority of the ports.
Based on the application scenario, the flow of the multi-machine backup scheme provided by the embodiment of the application is as follows:
1. when VTEP1 (i.e. BRAS device 1) detects that the user terminal (for example, VM 1) is authenticated to be online, VTEP1 generates session information corresponding to VM1, and generates ARP information and routing information corresponding to VM1, and issues routing information corresponding to VM1 to the remote device, and further, the traffic forwarded by the remote device to VM1 is forwarded through VTEP 1.
2. VTEP1 synchronizes session information corresponding to VM1 to VTEP2 and VTEP 3.
In this embodiment, the VTEP1 may synchronize the session information of the VM1 to the VTEP2 and the VTEP3 through an Update message of the BGP protocol according to the established EVPN neighbor.
Specifically, VTEP1 may encapsulate the session information of VM1 as a 6-type route (a newly defined route) in a BGP Update message, and synchronize the session information to VTEP2 and VTEP3 through EVPN neighbors established between VTEP1 and VTEP2 and VTEP 3.
When receiving the BGP Update message, VTEP2 and VTEP3 parse the session information included in the message.
3. When receiving the session information of the VM1 synchronized with the VTEP1, the VTEP2 and the VTEP3 set a backup identifier for the session information of the VM1, and generate a corresponding session entry according to the session information.
For the session information with the backup identifier, the VTEP2 and the VTEP3 do not generate corresponding ARP information and routing information, and accordingly, traffic from the public network is forwarded to the VTEP1 (primary BRAS device) and further forwarded to the VM 1.
4. When the traffic of VM1 is forwarded through VTEP1, VTEP1 performs traffic statistics on VM1 and periodically synchronizes traffic statistics to VTEP2 and VTEP3, which are stored by VTEP2 and VTEP 3.
5. When VM1 goes offline, VTEP1 deletes ARP information and FIB information of VM1 stored locally, and notifies VTEP2 and VTEP3 of the offline information of VM1 through BGPUpdate message, so that VTEP2 and VTEP3 delete user information of VM1 stored locally, such as session information, traffic statistics information, and the like.
6. When the equipment failure occurs in the VTEP1, the VTEP2 and VTEP3 re-determine a new primary BRAS equipment, and assuming that the VTEP2 is determined as the new primary BRAS equipment, the VTEP2 generates corresponding ARP information and routing information according to the session information recorded by itself, and issues the routing information to a remote device, and thereafter, traffic coming from the public network is forwarded to the VTEP2, and further forwarded to the user terminal side.
As can be seen from the above description, in the technical solution provided in the application embodiment, one primary access device is determined from two or two access devices included in a networking, an EVPN neighbor relationship is established between the primary access device and a standby access device, when a target access device is the primary access device and it is detected that a target user terminal passes an authentication, session information corresponding to the target user terminal is generated, and the session information corresponding to the target user terminal is synchronized to an EVPN neighbor of the target access device, so that the EVPN neighbor of the target access device stores the session information of the target user terminal, thereby implementing the access device 1: and the data backup of N improves the expandability of the data backup.
