Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of batteries, in particular to a secondary battery liquid injection hole sealing assembly.
Background
In the manufacturing process of a secondary battery (e.g., lithium ion battery), after the completion of the filling process, it is necessary to perform laser sealing welding of the filling hole O in the top cap 1 to prevent leakage of the electrolyte.
In the prior art, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the concrete implementation process is to plug the liquid injection hole O on the top cover 1 with the T-shaped sealing nail 2 to prevent the electrolyte from overflowing and polluting the welding seam W, then clean the electrolyte remained above the liquid injection hole O, and finally seal the sealing cover plate 6 and the wall of the top cover 1 forming the liquid injection hole O in a laser full-welding manner, so as to form the full-welding seam W after welding.
The energy density of laser welding is very high and can reach 10 7 W/cm 2 The metal surface may be heated above the boiling point of the material to produce vaporization, where laser energy is transferred from the metal surface to the interior of the metal to form a molten pool. When the molten pool is close to the T-shaped plastic sealing nail 2, the plastic sealing nail 2 is vaporized instantaneously, and plastic steam is ejected upwards along the axial direction to drive the weld joint W of the molten pool to generate defects such as pinholes, explosion points, cracks and the like. In the same way, when the electrolyte remained on the surface of the liquid injection hole O is not cleaned, the electrolyte can be produced under the action of laserPinhole, explosion point, crack and other defects.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the problems existing in the background art, an object of the present invention is to provide a secondary battery liquid injection hole sealing assembly, which solves the problems of welding pinholes, explosion points, cracks and the like caused by welding by adopting a hot melt connection method, and has simple, convenient and reliable sealing procedure.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a secondary battery liquid injection hole sealing assembly for sealing a liquid injection hole provided on a top cover of a secondary battery, comprising: a sealing nail and a sealing film. The sealing nails are plugged into the liquid injection holes so as to seal the liquid injection holes once; the sealing film completely covers the liquid injection hole and is bonded on the top cover in a hot-melt sealing manner so as to carry out secondary sealing on the liquid injection hole.
The beneficial effects of the invention are as follows:
in the secondary battery tap hole sealing assembly according to the present invention, the tap hole is sealed once by inserting the sealing nail into the tap hole, and the sealing film completely covering the tap hole is heat-fused to be sealed and adhered to the top cover, thereby secondarily sealing the tap hole. The invention adopts the hot-melt connection method to replace the welding mode in the traditional technology, thereby avoiding the problems of welding pinholes, explosion points, cracks and the like caused by welding, and the hot-melt sealing process is simple, convenient and reliable.

Detailed Description
The secondary battery pouring hole sealing assembly according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, a secondary battery filling hole sealing assembly for sealing a filling hole O provided on a top cap 1 of a secondary battery according to the present invention includes: a sealing nail 2 and a sealing film 3. The sealing nail 2 is plugged into the liquid injection hole O to seal the liquid injection hole O once; the sealing film 3 completely covers the liquid filling hole O and is bonded to the top cover 1 by hot melt sealing to secondarily seal the liquid filling hole O.
In the secondary battery tap hole sealing assembly according to the present invention, the tap hole O is sealed once by inserting the sealing nail 2 into the tap hole O, and the sealing film 3 entirely covering the tap hole O is heat-fused to be sealed and adhered to the top cap 1, thereby secondarily sealing the tap hole O. The invention adopts the hot-melt connection method to replace the welding mode in the traditional technology, thereby avoiding the problems of welding pinholes, explosion points, cracks and the like caused by welding, and the hot-melt sealing process is simple, convenient and reliable.
According to the secondary battery filling hole sealing assembly of the present invention, in one embodiment, referring to fig. 2 to 4, the sealing nail 2 may be T-shaped.
In an embodiment, referring to fig. 2 to 4, the sealing spike 2 may have: an insertion portion 21 inserted into the liquid injection hole O in the top cap 1; and a stopper 22 which abuts on the top cover 1. In this embodiment, the insertion portion 21 of the sealing nail 2 is inserted into the liquid injection hole O on the top cover 1, and the stop portion 22 of the sealing nail 2 abuts against the top cover 1, so that the electrolyte is prevented from overflowing, and insufficient electrolyte in the battery cell and pollution on the surface of the top cover 1 affecting the hot melting quality of the sealing film 3 are avoided.
In an embodiment, the sealing spike 2 may also be tapered or cylindrical, but is not limited thereto, and may be designed in other shapes.
In one embodiment, the sealing nail 2 may be a plastic sealing nail, but the material of the sealing nail is not limited to this, and other types of materials may be selected according to specific needs.
In one embodiment, referring to fig. 5, the sealing film 3 may have: a melt layer 31 disposed on the top cover 1 to entirely cover the liquid injection hole O; a heat conductive layer 32 laminated on the melt layer 31; and a heat transfer layer 33 located at the uppermost layer of the sealing film 3, the heat transfer layer 32 transferring external heat to the melt layer 31 via the heat transfer layer 32 to melt the melt layer 31. In the present embodiment, the melted layer 31 of the sealing film 3 forms a tight continuous bond 5 with the top cover 1 when melted at high temperature, thereby completely sealing the pour hole O.
In one embodiment, the melt layer 31 is a polypropylene layer; the heat conductive layer 32 is aluminum foil; and the heat transfer layer 33 is a nylon layer, which is a specific structure (i.e., an aluminum plastic film) of the sealing film 3 used in the present invention, but not limited thereto, the melting layer 31, the heat transfer layer 32, and the heat transfer layer 33 of the sealing film 3 may be made of other types of materials. Among them, in the present embodiment, the use of aluminum foil for the heat conductive layer 32 increases the overall strength and toughness of the sealing film 3, and enhances the heat conductivity and uniformity of the temperature distribution of the melt layer 31, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of the hot-melt sealing.
In one embodiment, the thickness of the melt layer 31 may be 5 μm to 15 μm.
In one embodiment, the thickness of the thermally conductive layer 32 may be 5 μm to 15 μm.
In one embodiment, the thickness of the heat transfer layer 33 may be 5 μm to 15 μm.
