Background
UUID means a universal Unique Identifier (Universally Unique Identifier), which is a standard for Software construction and is also part of the Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) field that is applied by the Open Software Foundation (OSF) organization. The purpose of the UUID is to allow all elements in the distributed system to have unique identification information without requiring the identification information to be specified through the central control end. In this way, everyone can establish a UUID that does not conflict with others. In such a case, the name duplication problem at the time of database creation does not need to be considered. Currently, the most widely used UUIDs are Microsoft's Global Unique Identifiers (GUIDs), while other important applications are Linux ext2/ext3 archive systems, LUKS encrypted partitions, GNOME, KDE, Mac OS X, and the like. However, the UUID is a numeric increment mode and cannot be sorted according to the generation time. This causes a certain difficulty in the management of the terminal.

Detailed Description
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, and it will be understood that they are described herein for the purpose of illustration and explanation and not limitation.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a terminal management method according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is used for a server. As shown in fig. 1, the terminal management method includes the following steps S11-S12:
step S11, acquiring IDs corresponding to at least two terminals, where the IDs include timestamps.
Step S12, sorting at least two terminals according to the time stamp contained in the ID.
The terminal may be, for example, a set-top box, a television, or the like, and when managing the terminal,
in the method of the embodiment of the present invention, by acquiring IDs corresponding to at least two terminals, where the IDs include timestamps, the at least two terminals are sequenced according to the timestamps included in the IDs. Due to the fact that sequencing can be conducted through the timestamps in the IDs corresponding to the terminals, an administrator can manage the terminals conveniently, time of the administrator is saved, and convenience is provided for the administrator.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the method may further include step S13:
and step S13, generating an ID for at least one terminal, wherein the ID is composed of a timestamp, a database and table name, a sub-table ID and a process number.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the method may further include step S14:
in step S14, the process number included in the ID is acquired.
At this time, step S12 may be implemented as the following step S121:
step S121, sorting at least two terminals according to the time stamp and the process number included in the ID. In the above method, only the first 8 bits (time stamps) need to be sorted in time sorting. But the process uses the millisecond system, since the time stamp is accurate to the second and the process number is 3 bits, so that the time stamp can be accurate to the millisecond. The time stamp plus the process number is the ordering of the IDs. Therefore, the present embodiment can make the sorting more accurate.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, the method may further include steps S15-S18:
in step S15, target information input by the user is received.
Step S16, the database, table name, and branch table ID included in the ID are acquired.
And step S17, determining the ID matched with the target information according to the database, the table name and the sub-table ID.
In step S18, the terminal corresponding to the ID matching the destination information is determined as the destination terminal.
The database, table name, sub-table are related to the division of business, region, etc. So that the latter bits can be used to search for services, regions, etc. So that the facet administrator searches and finds the terminal.
In one embodiment, the number of bits of the ID is 18 bits, including an 8-bit timestamp, a 4-bit database and table name, a 3-bit sub-table ID, and a 3-bit process number, all in 36-ary.
The ID corresponding to the terminal is designed to be 18 bits, and is less than half of UUID. The ID contains a timestamp (36-bit, 8-bit), a database and table name (4-bit), a sub-table ID (3-bit), and a process number (3-bit). All 36-bit.
In one embodiment, the process number is in the millisecond system.
In this embodiment, the process number is in a millisecond system, and when the time stamps included in the IDs of the two terminals are the same, the process numbers are compared, and since the time stamps are accurate to seconds and the process numbers are accurate to milliseconds, the two terminals can be sorted by the process numbers.
Based on the same inventive concept, the embodiment of the present invention further provides a terminal management device, and as the principle of the problem solved by the device is similar to that of the terminal management method, the implementation of the device can refer to the implementation of the method, and repeated details are omitted.
