Various exemplary embodiments, features and aspects of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, like reference numbers can indicate functionally identical or similar elements. While the various aspects of the embodiments are presented in drawings, the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale unless specifically indicated.
The word "exemplary" is used exclusively herein to mean "serving as an example, embodiment, or illustration. Any embodiment described herein as "exemplary" is not necessarily to be construed as preferred or advantageous over other embodiments.
Furthermore, in the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present disclosure. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be practiced without some of these specific details. In some instances, methods, means, elements and circuits that are well known to those skilled in the art have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the present disclosure.
Example 1
Fig. 1 shows a flow diagram of a video recommendation method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The execution host of the embodiment may be a PC (Personal Computer), a tablet Computer, a smart phone, or the like, and is not limited herein. As shown in fig. 1, the method may include steps S11 through S17.
In step S11, a first policy is acquired, the first policy including a first condition.
As an example of this embodiment, a policy obtaining request may be issued to a server storing a first policy, so that the server returns the first policy according to the policy obtaining request, so that the first policy may be obtained from the server.
It should be noted that, those skilled in the art may set the conditions included in the first policy according to the actual application requirements, and the conditions are not limited herein.
In step S12, a network request record of the user is acquired.
In a possible implementation manner, a network request packet (packet capture) technology may be used to obtain a network request data packet of a user, so as to obtain a network request record of the user.
In other possible implementation manners, the network request record of the user may also be obtained by obtaining a log file and/or a browsing record of the user.
In step S13, a network request satisfying the first condition is acquired from the network request record.
In one possible implementation, the first condition may include: the domain name corresponding to the network request belongs to a first domain name set.
As one example of this implementation, the first set of Domain names may include registered Domain names (Domain names) of at least one video website, where the video website may be a website for publishing, browsing, and sharing video works. The registered domain name included in the first domain name set may be set according to actual requirements, for example, in a case that video recommendation needs to be performed for a user according to a situation that the user watches a video at the video website a, the first domain name set may be set to include only the registered domain name of the video website a. For another example, in a case where video recommendation needs to be performed for the user according to a situation that the user watches videos at the video website a and the video website B, the first domain name set may be set to include the registered domain name of the video website a and the registered domain name of the video website B. In this way, the video watching preference of the user can be determined according to the video watching information of the video websites (such as the video website A and the video website B) corresponding to the registered domain names included in the first domain name set, and the videos of other video websites (such as the video website Q) can be recommended for the user according to the video watching preference of the user, so that the video recommendation can be performed across the video websites, and the user experience can be improved.
For example, example 1, the first set of domain names may include a registered domain name ssss. If the obtained network request record (as shown in table 1) of the user includes network request 1, network request 2, and network request 3, the network request meeting the first condition in the network request record (that is, the domain name corresponding to the network request belongs to the first domain name set) is network request 1. The network request records of the user are as follows in table 1:
table 1 network request record
Numbering URL
Network request 1 http://v.ssss.com/v_show/id_XMjQzN519-23042.223465.1-1
Network request 2 http://baike.yyyy.com/link?url=qG50UIOBXO3Z70C2-Q
Network request 3 http://news.zzzz.com.cn/o/2017-01-16/difxzqhka3201458.shtml
It should be noted that, although the first condition is described above by taking the domain name corresponding to the network request as an example belonging to the first domain name set, those skilled in the art can understand that the disclosure should not be limited thereto. The first condition can be flexibly set by those skilled in the art according to the actual application requirements.
In step S14, first video information is determined according to a network request satisfying a first condition.
As an example of the embodiment, after the network request meeting the first condition is obtained according to the network request record, video information of a video watched by the user can be obtained according to the network request, and the video information may include information such as video description information and a video address.
In one possible implementation manner, a video address corresponding to a network request meeting a first condition may be used as the first video information.
In a possible implementation manner, from the network request satisfying the first condition, a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the video watched by the user may be obtained, and the video information of the video watched by the user may be determined by identifying the URL.
As an example of this implementation, a URL corresponding to a network request that satisfies the first condition may be taken as the first video information. For example, if the obtained network request meeting the first condition is network request 4, and the URL corresponding to network request 4 is http:// www.dddd.com/Home/GZLSQ ═ Y, the determined first video information may be http:// www.dddd.com/Home/GZLSQ ═ Y.
In step S15, the first video information is transmitted to the server.
After the server receives the first video information, whether a video matched with the first video information exists in the video website Q corresponding to the server or not can be searched according to the first video information. And under the condition that the video matched with the first video information exists in the video website Q, acquiring second video information of the video. The second video information of the video may include video description information of the video and/or a video address of the video at the video website Q. The video address of the video at video website Q may be a URL of the video within video website Q.
The searching for whether a video matching with the first video information exists in the video website Q according to the first video information may include various implementation manners, which are not limited herein.
In a possible implementation manner, a video in the video website Q that is the same as the video corresponding to the first video information may be taken as the video that matches the first video information, for example, the first video information indicates that the video watched by the user is the nth set of the tv series T, and the video that matches the first video information and is acquired from the video website Q may be the nth set of the tv series T.
In a possible implementation manner, a plurality of related videos related to the video corresponding to the first video information may be obtained in the video website Q, and one or more related videos with the highest priority may be used as the video matched with the first video information. The priority of the related video can be determined according to one or more items of click rate of the related video, playing times of the related video, similarity between the related video and the first video information and the like. The similarity between the related video and the first video information can be determined by those skilled in the art in various ways, and is not limited herein. Taking the video watched by the user as the drama as an example, if the first video information corresponds to the nth episode of the drama T, the order of the priority levels from large to small may be set as follows: episode N +1 of series T > trailer of series N +1 of series T > catwalk of episode N of series T. The (N + 1) th episode of the series T may be a video matched with the first video information, or the (N + 1) th episode of the series T, the (N + 1) th trailer of the series T, and the floc of the (N) th episode of the series T may all be videos matched with the first video information. For example, if the first video information indicates that the video watched by the user is the second episode of the tv series T, the related video related to the first video information obtained from the server includes: the third episode of the series T, the trailer of the third episode of the series T, and the catwalk of the second episode of the series T, then the order of priority from big to small may be determined as: third episode of series T > trailer of third episode of series T > catwalk of second episode of series T.
It should be noted that, although the manner of acquiring the video matched with the first video information is described above in the above implementation manner, a person skilled in the art can understand that the present disclosure should not be limited thereto. Those skilled in the art can flexibly set the specific implementation manner according to the actual application requirements.
In step S16, the second video information returned by the server according to the first video information is acquired.
In step S17, video recommendation is made based on the second video information.
According to the embodiment, the network request meeting the first condition can be acquired from the network request record of the user according to the first strategy, and video recommendation is performed based on the network request meeting the first condition, so that the flexibility and accuracy of video recommendation can be improved, the personalized requirements of the user are met, and the user experience is improved.
In this embodiment, the first condition may be flexibly set according to actual application requirements, so as to obtain the first video information of the video watched by the user at a certain video, a plurality of video websites or all video websites according to the first condition, thereby accurately determining the preference of the user for watching the video, and improving the accuracy of video recommendation. And a video of a designated video website, such as the video website Q, can be recommended to the user according to the first video information, so that video recommendation can be performed across video websites, and user experience can be improved.
In one possible implementation, the second video information may be displayed through a pop-up window. In this implementation, the video recommendation may be made to the user in a pop-up manner. As an example of this implementation, video description information of a video corresponding to the second video information may be displayed in a popup, where the video description information may include a text introduction and/or a picture introduction of the video. If the user determines to play the video corresponding to the second video information, the video address of the video can be determined according to the second video information, and the video corresponding to the second video information can be played for the user through the client or the video website.
It should be understood by those skilled in the art that pop-up window is only an example of making video recommendations, and those skilled in the art may also make video recommendations in other ways, and is not limited herein.
In a possible implementation manner, the first policy may further include a second condition, and in step S12, in case that the second condition is satisfied, the network request record of the user is obtained.
In one possible implementation, the second condition may include: the version of the client used by the user belongs to the first set of versions, and/or the geographic area in which the client is located belongs to the first set of geographic areas.
As an example of this implementation manner, the client version included in the first version set may be set according to the function of the client version, the client promotion requirement, and the like. For example, to facilitate a user to download a client that uses the latest version, the first set of versions may include the latest version of the client.
As an example of this implementation manner, the geographic area in which the client included in the first geographic area set is located may be set according to the number of clients used in each geographic area, the growth rate of the clients, the client popularization demand, and the like. For example, a large number of geographic areas may be used by users of clients in the first set of geographic areas to improve the user experience in the region. The first geographical area set can also comprise geographical areas with small user usage number of the clients so as to improve the user usage number of the clients in the region.
In one possible implementation, the second condition may include: the number of acquired network requests satisfying the first condition is less than a first threshold. In this implementation, if the number of the acquired network requests satisfying the first condition is greater than or equal to the first threshold, the acquisition of the network request record of the user may be stopped.
As an example of this implementation, the first threshold may be set according to data indicating the number of videos watched by the user, such as the average number of videos watched by the user in a unit time, the average number of videos watched by the user in a specified time interval, and the total number of videos watched by the user.
In one possible implementation, the second condition may include: the total number of the network requests which meet the first condition and are acquired by the server is smaller than a second threshold value.
As an example of this implementation, the server may calculate a total number of network requests satisfying the first condition, which are acquired by each client, and may determine the total number of network requests satisfying the first condition, which are acquired by each client, as the total number of network requests satisfying the first condition, which are acquired by the server. Under the condition that the total quantity is smaller than a second threshold value, the client can be controlled to continuously acquire the network request of the user; and controlling the client to stop acquiring the network request of the user in the case that the total number is greater than or equal to the second threshold value. The second threshold may be set according to the number of users watching videos through the network in a specified time interval and/or the actual application requirements.
In one possible implementation, the second condition may include: the current system time belongs to a first time interval.
As an example of this implementation, the first time interval may be set according to the number of users watching the video in different time intervals, for example, the number of users watching the video in a time interval of 21 to 23 points is the largest in a day, and the first time interval may be set to 21 to 23 points per day. By setting the second condition that the current system time belongs to the first time interval, the network request record of the user can be acquired only in the first time interval, so that the video recommendation efficiency can be improved.
It should be noted that, although the video recommendation method is described above by taking the above-mentioned embodiment as an example, those skilled in the art can understand that the present disclosure should not be limited thereto. In fact, the user can flexibly set each step according to personal preference and/or actual application scene, as long as the technical scheme of the disclosure is met.
According to the video recommendation method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the network request meeting the first policy is obtained from the network request record by obtaining the network request record of the user, the first video information is determined according to the network request meeting the first condition, the first video information is sent to the server, the second video information returned by the server according to the first video information is obtained, and video recommendation is performed according to the second video information, so that the network request meeting the first condition can be obtained from the network request record of the user according to the first policy, and video recommendation is performed based on the network request meeting the first condition, so that the flexibility and accuracy of video recommendation can be improved, the personalized requirements of the user are met, and the user experience is improved.
