Description

Method for auditing domain name/real name for domain name registration/change operation
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of computers, and in particular, to a method for auditing domain name/real name for domain name registration/change operations.
Background
The internet domain name management method stipulates that a domain name registration management/service organization applied in the people's republic of china should have the capability of verifying the real name of a domain name registration applicant. And the registered domain names are required to be checked and verified, so that some domain names which harm the national security or violate laws and regulations cannot be registered, and the names of some institutions are protected, so that the benefits of related institutions are protected.
Currently, the ways for realizing the domain name audit (hereinafter referred to as domain name audit) and the contact audit (hereinafter referred to as real name audit) of the registered domain name by the registration management organization and the registration service organization are different. Even some organizations do not have audit capabilities (either real name audit capabilities or domain name audit capabilities; or both).
For the existing real name or domain name auditing method, a registration management organization generally requires that when the registration service organization provides domain name registration service, the registration management organization simultaneously performs initial review on the information of a domain name registrant (such as information of natural people, namely an identity card and a related certificate (identity card copy), enterprise legal person information, namely an organization code certificate and the like and related certification materials (organization code certificate copy), the registration service organization performs initial review, then submits the information to the registration management organization for re-review, or performs initial review and re-review directly through registration management, and the registration service organization does not perform auditing.
Based on the auditing method in the prior art, the registration service organization or the registration management organization is required to have auditing capability and configure related personnel. This not only consumes a lot of manpower and material resources, but also because each registration service mechanism or registration management mechanism is relatively independent, the auditing process of different registration service mechanisms or registration management mechanisms is difficult to realize unified management constraint. Therefore, the auditing process is difficult to standardize and systematize, the auditing efficiency is greatly reduced, and the auditing quality is difficult to ensure.
Therefore, a new domain name/real name auditing method for domain name registration/change operation is needed to solve the problems existing in the existing auditing method.

In one embodiment:
when the domain name and/or the real-name authentication information passes the audit, the registration service mechanism sends the domain name and/or the registrant information to the registration management mechanism;
and when the domain name and/or the real-name authentication information do not pass the verification, the registration service mechanism sends the verification result to the registrant.
In an embodiment, when the domain name or the real-name authentication information passes the audit, the third party audit authority generates an audit identifier for the domain name or the real-name authentication information and adds the audit identifier to the audit result;
and the registration service mechanism and/or the registration management mechanism confirms whether the domain name or the registrant information passes the audit or not by identifying and verifying the audit identification code.
In one embodiment, the audit identifier is not transmitted between the registration service and the registration authority.
In an embodiment, the connection between the registration service and the registration authority is constructed based on an extensible provisioning protocol.
In an embodiment, the third party auditing mechanism generates different auditing identification codes for different domain names or the real-name authentication information, and each auditing identification code is unique.
In an embodiment, the third party auditing mechanism generates a name verification transaction detail and/or a real name verification transaction detail data based on the domain name and/or the real name authentication information and the corresponding auditing result, and periodically sends the name verification transaction detail and/or the real name verification transaction detail data to the registration management mechanism.
In an embodiment, the third party auditing mechanism sends the domain name and/or the registrant information which pass the auditing and the corresponding auditing result to a registration management mechanism.
Compared with the prior art, the auditing method does not need to execute the auditing program in the registration service mechanism or the registration management mechanism, thereby greatly simplifying the composition structure of the registration service mechanism or the registration management mechanism and optimizing the resource allocation; meanwhile, due to the adoption of an independent auditing mechanism, the auditing process is more convenient to systematize and standardize, so that the auditing efficiency is greatly improved, and the auditing quality is ensured.

The following detailed description will be provided for the embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples, so that the practitioner of the present invention can fully understand how to apply the technical means to solve the technical problems, achieve the technical effects, and implement the present invention according to the implementation procedures. It should be noted that, as long as there is no conflict, the embodiments and the features of the embodiments of the present invention may be combined with each other, and the technical solutions formed are within the scope of the present invention.
The prior art auditing method requires that the registration service or the registration management have auditing capability and configure the relevant personnel.
Aiming at the problems in the existing auditing method, the invention provides a method for auditing the domain name/real name aiming at the domain name registration/change operation. The overall structural model of the system for executing the method of the invention comprises a registrant, a registration service mechanism, a registration management mechanism and a third-party auditing mechanism. Wherein: the registration service mechanism is mainly used for realizing butt joint with a registrant and providing a service platform for the registrant; the main role of the registration authority is to perform specific domain name registration/change operations; and in the domain name registration/change process, the registration service mechanism interacts with a third-party auditing mechanism to realize domain name/real name auditing.
Here, the domain name change refers to a change operation of a domain name or a contact, and includes the following: updating, transferring, deleting or renewing; registrants refer to domain name registrants who need to perform domain name registration/change, including natural persons or legal persons, social organizations and the like; the same is as follows.
The method is mainly characterized in that a third party auditing agency (VSP for short) is provided. The VSP mechanism is linked with the registration management mechanism and the registration service mechanism to realize domain name/real name verification in the processes of domain name registration and change. Therefore, the domain name/real name auditing operation is separated from the registration management mechanism and the registration service mechanism, and the composition structure of the registration management mechanism and the registration service mechanism is simplified.
The execution flow of the auditing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is described in detail below based on a specific flowchart. The steps shown in the flow chart of the figure may be performed in a computer mechanism comprising, for example, a set of computer executable instructions. Although a logical order of steps is illustrated in the flowcharts, in some cases, the steps illustrated or described may be performed in an order different than presented herein.
As shown in fig. 1, first, step S110 is executed, a step of outputting domain name/real name authentication information is executed, and the registrant 101 submits domain name and/or real name authentication information (identification information) that needs to be registered/changed to the registration service 102. The registration service 102 executes step S120 to receive domain name/real name authentication information.
When the domain name/real name authentication information needs to be checked, the registry service 102 performs step S121 to submit the domain name/real name authentication information, and submits the domain name and/or real name authentication information that needs to be checked to the third party auditing authority (VSP) 103.
Specifically, in this embodiment, registry service 102 submits a domain name to VSP103 when a registrant registers the domain name (a create domain name operation occurs). Registry service 102 submits real-name authentication information to VSP103 when the create contact, update contact, create domain name, change domain name operations occur. Further, the registry service 102 may submit the collected registrant identification information to the VSP103 for real-name verification before or after domain name registration.
The domain name refers to a domain label (domain label) constituting a domain name or a domain name (domain) in which a part or the whole of the domain name is composed of these labels, and the following is the same. The real-name authentication information includes registrant information (information related to a domain name registrant or a domain name registration organization) and corresponding registrant certification material (identification material related to a domain name registrant or a domain name registration organization) (electronic version).
VSP103 performs step S130 of auditing the received domain name/real name authentication information. In the process of the VSP103 performing the audit (step S130), step S131 is executed, and the audit pass determination step determines whether the domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit. When the domain name/real name authentication information does not pass the audit, step S132 is executed to generate an audit result indicating that the audit is not passed. When the domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit, step S135 is performed to generate an audit result indicating that the audit is passed. Next, step S133 is executed to transmit the audit result (the audit result indicating that the audit is not passed or the audit result indicating that the audit is passed) to the registration service 102.
The registration service 102 executes step S122 to receive the result of the verification. And then, step S123 is executed to determine whether the corresponding domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit based on the received audit result. When the domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit, the registration service entity 102 executes step S126 to transmit the domain name/registrant information passing the audit to the registration management entity 104.
The registration management structure 104 performs step S140 to receive the domain name/registrant information that passes the audit. And then performs a step S142 of performing a domain name registration/change operation based on the approved domain name/real name authentication information.
It should be noted here that the real-name authentication information submitted by the registry service 102 to the VSP103 for real-name verification includes registrant information and relevant registrant authentication material. Wherein the registrant proves that the data is used for real-name examination. However, when the registration management structure 104 performs the domain name registration/change operation, it is only necessary to confirm whether the registrant information passes the real-name audit, and no specific registrant certification is required. The information sent by the registration service 102 to the registration management structure 104 does not contain registrant authentication material.
Further, in this embodiment, after the registration service organization 102 receives the audit result (step S122), step S124 is executed to output the audit result to the registrant.
It should be noted here that, in the present embodiment, the registration service entity 102 outputs the result of the audit to the registrant regardless of whether the domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit. In other embodiments of the present invention, the registry service 102 may output the audit result to the registrant only if the domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit or fails.
In order to further improve the security of the auditing process, the method of the embodiment further adopts a comparison and verification means. Specifically, step S136 is executed after step S133, and the review result and the corresponding domain name/registrant information are summarized. Then, step S137 is executed to send the summarized domain name/registrant information and the corresponding auditing result to the registration management structure 104. After the registry management structure 104 performs step S141 (accepts summary information), the information from the registry service 102 and the VSP103 is verified against each other to confirm whether the domain name and registrant information submitted by the registry service 102 pass the examination of naming and real name.
Further, in this embodiment, only the domain name/registrant information that passes the audit and the corresponding audit result are collected in step S136. Each time the domain name/registrant information passes the audit, the domain name/registrant information that passes the audit and the corresponding audit results are collectively output to registration authority 104.
In another embodiment according to the present invention, the summarized data of step S136 is not output immediately. An auditing information memory is constructed in the VSP, and the VSP generates a naming verification transaction detail and/or real-name verification transaction detail data based on the domain name and/or real-name authentication information and a corresponding auditing result and stores the naming verification transaction detail and/or real-name verification transaction detail data in the auditing information memory. The VSP periodically sends the name verification transaction detail and/or real-name verification transaction detail data to the registration authority so that the registration authority can audit whether the domain name and registrant information submitted by the registration service authority pass the name and real-name verification.
In order to further improve the security of the auditing process, the method of the embodiment also adopts a verification passing means. Specifically, when the domain name/real name authentication information passes the audit, step S134 is executed, and the audit identification code is generated. In step S134, an audit identity is generated for the domain name/real name authentication information that passes the audit. Next, step S135 is executed to generate an audit result indicating that the audit is passed. In step S135, the audit id is added to the audit result indicating that the audit is passed. In this way, in step S133, the audit result sent to the registration service authority 102 is the audit result including the audit identifier.
The registry service entity 102 performs step S123, and when the verification result indicates that the domain name/real name authentication information passes the verification, first performs step S125 of verifying the identification code, and thus identifies the verification identification code to confirm that the domain name/real name authentication information is the domain name/real name authentication information passing the verification. Step S126 can be performed only when the audit identity is verified, and the domain name/real name authentication information that passes the audit is transmitted to the registration authority 104. If the audit identification code is not verified, the audit program is wrong, and the audit needs to be reexamined.
In this embodiment, when it is determined in step S123 that the domain name/real name authentication information is not approved, step S124 is performed to output an approval result indicating that the approval is not approved to the registrant. When the domain name/real name authentication information is checked in step S123, step S125 is executed first, and then step S124 is executed. Thus, the output of step S124 when the audit id passes the verification is the audit result indicating that the audit is passed. When the audit id does not pass the verification, step S124 outputs a prompt for re-audit.
Further, in step S136, the audit result in the summary information is also the audit result including the audit identifier. After receiving the verification result (step S141), the registration manager 104 verifies the identification code, and confirms that the domain name/registrant information is the domain name/registrant information that has passed the verification. Steps S143 and S142 can be performed only when the audit id passes verification. If the audit identification code is not verified, the audit program is wrong, and the audit needs to be reexamined.
In the above process, the registration authority 104 directly acquires the audit identity from the VSP103, and therefore, the transmission of the audit identity between the registration service authority 102 and the registration authority 104 is not performed. Thus, the data transmitted between registration service 102 and registration authority 104 is identical to the data transmitted in prior art methods, and the data transmission protocol between registration service 102 and registration authority 104 need not be modified.
In this embodiment, in order to confirm the approval condition by using the verification approval identifier and ensure the safety and effectiveness of the approval operation, the VSP103 generates different approval identifiers for different domain names or real-name authentication information. That is, each audit id is unique during all domain name and real name authentication information audits performed by VSP 103. Thus, the problem of embezzlement of the verification identification code is avoided.
In a specific system application according to the present embodiment, the connection between the registration service 102 and the registration authority 104 is constructed based on the Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP) Protocol. The Registry service 102 registers a domain name with a Shared registration management System (SRS) of the Registry management 104 by an EPP Command (EPP Command).
Specifically, the EPP command affected during real-name auditing includes: create contact, Update contact (Update contact, including Update connection name/organization (Update name or org)), Update domain (Update domain name, including change registrant (chg registry)), Transfer domain (Transfer domain name), and the like.
The EPP command affected during domain name auditing comprises the following steps: create domain.
Compared with the prior art, the auditing method of the invention clearly defines the responsibilities of the registration management mechanism, the registration service mechanism and the third party auditing mechanism through the separation of the responsibilities. According to the method, the auditing program does not need to be executed in the registration service mechanism or the registration management mechanism, so that the composition structure of the registration service mechanism or the registration management mechanism is greatly simplified, and the resource allocation is optimized. Meanwhile, according to the method of the invention, the communication protocol between the existing registration service mechanism and the registration management mechanism does not need to be changed, so that the usability of the method of the invention is greatly improved. Furthermore, due to the adoption of an independent auditing mechanism, the auditing process is more convenient to systematize and standardize, so that the auditing efficiency is greatly improved, and the auditing quality is ensured.
In addition, the method of the invention adopts a standardized data interaction mode, so that the method of the invention can be universally used for different registration management and registration service mechanisms, thereby not only greatly reducing the difficulty of uniformly managing the different registration management and registration service mechanisms, but also enabling automatic auditing to become possible.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the above description is only for the convenience of understanding the present invention, and is not intended to limit the present invention. There are various other embodiments of the method of the present invention. Various corresponding changes or modifications may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the invention, and these corresponding changes or modifications are intended to fall within the scope of the appended claims.
