Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a live video loading method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, a live video loading method provided by an embodiment of the present invention may include:
11. according to the input operation, items of a plurality of live videos are displayed on a screen.
The input operation in the embodiment of the present invention may be various operations. For example, an operation of opening live software (e.g., YY live, etc.), an operation of switching from an initial page of the live software to another page (e.g., a nearby page, a music page, a sports page, etc.), and the like. When the input operation is an operation of opening live broadcast software, displaying an initial page of the live broadcast software on a screen, wherein a plurality of items of live broadcast videos can be displayed on the initial page; when the input operation is switching from an initial page of live software to another page, displayed on the screen are entries of a plurality of live videos under the switched page. For example, after the YY live broadcast is opened, the entries of the plurality of live videos under the hit page are displayed by default, and when the user switches to, for example, a sports page through an input operation, the entries of the plurality of live videos under the sports page are displayed. Of course, the input operation in the embodiment of the present invention may also be other operations, such as a return operation.
The Item (Item) in the embodiment of the invention is a graphical abstraction of live video, and can be used for representing the live video, and various information contained in the Item can represent the concrete situation of the live video. One entry may correspond to one live video. The entry may include a live screenshot of the live video, which may be a live screenshot obtained by screenshot the live video at regular intervals. Of course, the entries also include at least one of: introduction of live video, number of viewers of live video, Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of live screenshot of live video, and live video stream address. That is, any content or material related to live video may be included as part of the entry.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the number of entries of the live video displayed on the screen may be 2 or more, for example, 3, 5, 7, or the like.
12. And caching a data stream corresponding to each live video item in the live video items displayed on the screen while displaying the live video items.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the entries of the different live videos are used to represent the different live videos, and the data stream corresponding to the entry of the live video is the data stream of the live video represented by the entry of the live video.
The live video loading method provided by the embodiment of the invention is different from the related technology, and the displayed items of each live video can be cached while the items of the live video are displayed, so that the live video is cached without waiting for the click operation of a user. In this way, the user can complete the caching of the live video data stream while browsing the items of the live video. Therefore, the cached data stream can be conveniently and directly utilized to display the live video pictures subsequently, the time for loading the live video is further shortened, and the user experience is improved.
13. Upon receiving a trigger operation for an entry of a live video in the entries of the plurality of live videos, loading the triggered live video and displaying a picture of the live video.
The triggering operation in the embodiment of the present invention refers to an operation for triggering the live video playing, and the triggering operation may be a single-click operation, a double-click operation, a right-click operation, and the like, depending on specific settings. And once the trigger operation of the user is received, indicating that the user wants to play the triggered live video.
After receiving the trigger operation, the mobile terminal can start to load the live video and display the picture of the live video.
According to the live video loading method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the items of the live video are displayed, the data streams corresponding to the items of the live video displayed on the screen are cached, and the data streams of the live video which the user wants to watch can be stored in advance before the user watches the live video. Therefore, when the user triggers to play the displayed live video subsequently, the loading time of the live video can be greatly shortened, and even the direct playing of the live video is realized.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the user views the entry of the live video displayed on the screen, it is possible that the currently displayed entry of the live video is not the entry of the live video that the user wants to watch, and therefore, the user can refresh or replace the entry of the live video through various sliding operations. For example, after the user opens the live video software, the user can ensure that a new live video item is displayed on the screen through, for example, a sliding operation upwards, and once the user finds a live video which the user wants to see from the newly appearing live video item, the user can watch the live video through a triggering operation. Under the application situation, the live video loading method provided by the embodiment of the invention can directly cache the data streams corresponding to the items of each live video after being refreshed, so that a user can consume less loading time when wanting to watch the live video, and even can watch the live video immediately. Specifically, in the embodiment of the present invention, when a sliding screen operation is received, items of a plurality of refreshed live videos are displayed on a screen, and a data stream corresponding to each item of each of the plurality of refreshed live videos displayed on the screen is cached; wherein the sliding screen operation comprises: a slide down screen operation, a slide left screen operation, and a slide down screen operation.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the storage space on the terminal equipment is large enough, the data stream of the live video can be cached all the time. However, in practical applications, the storage space on the terminal device is often limited, and in order to better save the storage space, the live video loading method provided by the embodiment of the present invention can release the data stream corresponding to the items of live videos that are displayed on the screen before and are not displayed on the screen after the sliding operation. Specifically, in one embodiment of the present invention, the data stream cached for the at least one item of live video displayed on the screen may be released once the item of live video no longer appears on the screen via a slide screen operation. The data stream does not occupy the storage space after being released, so that the aim of saving the storage space can be achieved.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a fixed storage space, for example, 5M, 8M, or the like, may also be allocated for each item of live video displayed on the screen. A threshold may also be set for the data stream of each live video buffer, for example, when the storage space is 8M, the threshold may be set to 5M, and of course, the threshold may also be set to 8M, and the like. Once the size of the data stream stored in the storage space reaches a threshold value, at least a part of the data stream in the storage space can be discarded according to the order of the caching time from early to late; the size of the discarded data stream is equal to the size of the data stream buffered at the same time. That is to say, in the embodiment of the present invention, once the live video that the user wants to see has been cached and reaches the set threshold, while the user watches the live video, the terminal device will cache the data stream of the current live video immediately so as to display the picture of the live video, and on the other hand will discard the data stream of the live video that was cached earliest before, so as to save the storage space. And at the same time, the data stream of the buffered live video is equal to the data stream of the discarded live video. By the method, the condition that the user watches the live video is not influenced can be ensured, the storage space can be saved, and the live video can be loaded and played by using less storage space.
In order to better understand the technical solution of the embodiments of the present invention, the following further explains the specific implementation process. The following exemplary description takes a mobile terminal as an example.
Home page data presentation
When the user opens the live platform application, the interface shown in fig. 2 may be displayed, and the entry shown in fig. 2 includes a live screenshot, and of course, in the embodiment of the present invention, the entry may further include a live screenshot URL, a live video stream address, and the like. In the embodiment of the invention, a live audio/video stream cache (BUFF) can be added to the background memory space corresponding to each entry.
The user can click the live screenshot displayed in the current mobile phone interface and enter a live broadcast room to watch live broadcast. In the embodiment of the invention, when a user enters a home page, a live screenshot of a first screen is displayed, and a background is informed to download the audio and video stream from a live video stream address and cache the audio and video stream in the cache (BUFF).
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, before downloading a data stream, it may be determined whether a terminal device downloads the data stream using WIFI, and if so, the data stream may be directly downloaded; otherwise, the data stream can be waited to be downloaded under the WIFI condition, and the phenomenon that the user consumes excessive flow is avoided.
Flow cache (BUFF) maintenance
When the user slides up and down the List of entries (List) of the home page, more live video entries (specifically, live screenshot information, for example, can be hosted) are loaded. However, since the audio/video stream is real-time and the network request data traffic is large, only a certain number of buffers, for example, N stream buffers, may be maintained in the memory. Wherein N may be an integer greater than 2.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of data stream cache maintenance. The downward arrow in FIG. 3 indicates that the finger is dragging upward and the screen shows the Item (Item) down. The solid arrow to the right in fig. 3 indicates an entry located at the center of the screen, which is most likely an entry of the live video that the user wants to watch. The dotted line box represents the display interface range of the terminal device (e.g., a mobile phone). As can be seen, maintaining 3 stream buffers is shown in fig. 3.
As shown in fig. 3, 3 caches are maintained, with entry positions (itempositions) of-1, 0,1, respectively. It is noted here that the number of caches and the entry location representation (i.e., -1,0,1) shown in fig. 3 are by way of example only and not intended to be limiting. In the embodiment of the present invention, other numbers of caches (for example, 5 entries of caches) may be used, and other ways may be used to indicate the entry location, for example, -2,0,2, etc.
When it is monitored that the user slides up and down the home page entry list, the entry position (itempposition) of each entry can be updated, in the embodiment of the present invention, the entry position (itempposition) of the entry occupying the largest height of the screen interface can be set to 0, and the entry position of the entry located in the center of the screen can also be set to 0.
In the embodiment of the present invention, in a specific implementation, an item position update event (ItemPositionUpdateEvent) may be defined, and when the item position (ItemPosition) changes, the item position update event is triggered to notify an application background to download a new media stream. As shown in fig. 3, the user slides up to the current state, closes the data stream corresponding to ItemPosition-2, and destroys its cache (BUFF 0). Meanwhile, initializing the cache (BUFF4) corresponding to ItemPosition 2, and downloading the data stream according to the live broadcasting room information and storing the data stream into the cache BUFF 4.
When the user's sliding direction changes, the item position (itempotion) is reversed, but the item position (itempotion) at the center of the current screen is guaranteed to be always 0.
The buffer in the embodiment of the invention can be a queue, and in order to avoid the continuous increase of the buffer space, when the preset threshold value is reached, a new data stream can be left, and the old data stream can be discarded according to the time sequence. Meanwhile, the size of the buffered data stream is equal to the size of the discarded data stream. I.e. how many data streams are downloaded into the queue, the equivalent data streams are dropped from the queue.
Click into channel
In the embodiment of the invention, when the player is implemented, a pointer (namely, player. get instant (). buf) of a single-case audio and video memory address used by the player can be maintained, when a user clicks one live screenshot displayed on a screen and enters a channel, the pointer points to a cache corresponding to the clicked item, and the player can directly play audio and video due to a certain data volume in the cache, so that the user cannot feel an audio and video loading process from the user experience angle, namely, the duration of a video loading state is shortened to 0.
