3. The calling and called terminals (mobile terminal A, mobile terminal B) carry out coding and decoding negotiation in a Trfo mode, namely, in an IAM request/APM response mode, the coding and decoding mode which is not supported in an IAM message is removed, and then the mode is continuously transmitted to other gateways.
In summary, the Trfo mode is adopted to perform codec mode negotiation, and once an end-to-end network element (each device through which a voice request passes in the process of establishing a voice service between a calling terminal and a called terminal) has a device that does not support a certain type of codec mode (such as a high-definition voice codec mode), the finally negotiated codec mode always does not include the codec mode. To perform voice services based on a certain codec, each end-to-end device needs to support the codec. For example, to improve voice quality based on high-definition voice technology, each end-to-end device needs to support high-definition voice codec. However, in the existing network, the coding and decoding capabilities of each device cannot be limited, for example, it cannot be ensured that MGWs selected by the MSC server all support high-definition voice coding and decoding, thereby affecting the quality of voice services.
The principle of the embodiment of the invention is that the expected coding and decoding modes are preferentially reserved when the coding and decoding negotiation is carried out by utilizing the existing coding and decoding capability data of the end-to-end network elements of the calling party and the called party, so that the finally negotiated coding and decoding capability set at least comprises the expected coding and decoding modes, and then the proper MGW is selected according to the finally negotiated coding and decoding capability set, so that the voice service can be carried out based on the coding and decoding. The method is not limited to the coding and decoding capability of a single device, and provides effective voice quality improvement for users.
Example 1:

And then determining the called encoding and decoding capability according to the called end media gateway encoding and decoding capability set, the called end wireless encoding and decoding capability set and the called terminal encoding and decoding capability set.
It should be noted that at least one of the media gateway codec capability set of the calling terminal, the wireless codec capability set of the calling terminal, the media gateway codec capability set of the called terminal, the wireless codec capability set of the called terminal, and the codec capability set of the called terminal includes the target codec capability information.

The calling controller determines a voice service coding and decoding capability set according to the calling coding and decoding capability set and the called coding and decoding capability set; the voice service coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information.

In the embodiment of the invention, when the calling terminal and the called terminal have a mode supporting the target coding and decoding, the voice service can be finally carried out based on the target coding and decoding mode. Specifically, if the codec capability sets of the calling party and the called party both include the target codec capability information, then the intersection of the codec capability sets of the calling party and the called party also includes the target codec capability information, and then the voice bearer between the calling party and the called party can be established based on the target codec manner. Of course, if the codec capability of the calling party and the called party is concentrated with the target codec capability information, the party with the target codec capability information establishes the radio bearer based on the target codec capability information.

The invention provides a coding and decoding negotiation method, which comprises the steps of firstly negotiating the coding and decoding capability sets of a calling party and a called party to obtain the coding and decoding capability set of the calling party and the coding and decoding capability set of the called party, wherein at least one of the coding and decoding capability sets of the calling party and the called party comprises target coding and decoding capability information. And then the voice service coding and decoding capability set determined according to the calling coding and decoding capability set and the called coding and decoding capability set also comprises target coding and decoding capability information, a calling terminal target media gateway and a called terminal target media gateway are determined according to the voice service coding and decoding capability set, and then voice service between calling and called can be carried out through the calling terminal target media gateway and the called terminal target media gateway based on the target coding and decoding capability information. The determining unit 501 is specifically configured to determine an encoding and decoding capability set of a media gateway of a calling terminal according to encoding and decoding capability information of the media gateway of the calling terminal, determine a wireless encoding and decoding capability set of the calling terminal according to the wireless encoding and decoding capability information of the calling terminal, and determine an encoding and decoding capability set of the calling terminal according to the encoding and decoding capability information of the calling terminal.

If the intersection of the calling terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, when the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set is determined to contain the target coding and decoding capability information, the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set is generated according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set.
If the intersection of the calling end media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the calling end wireless coding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, judging whether the calling end media gateway coding and decoding capability set contains the target coding and decoding information, and if the calling end media gateway coding and decoding capability set contains the target coding and decoding information, generating the calling end coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the calling end media gateway coding and decoding capability set; and if the coding and decoding capability set of the media gateway of the calling terminal does not contain the target coding and decoding information, determining the coding and decoding capability set of the media gateway of the calling terminal as the coding and decoding capability set of the calling terminal.
The determining unit 501 is specifically configured to determine a second set, where the second set is an intersection of the media gateway codec capability set of the calling terminal, the wireless codec capability set of the calling terminal, and the codec capability set of the calling terminal. And if the coding and decoding capability set of the calling end media gateway comprises the target coding and decoding capability information, generating a target coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information contained in the coding and decoding capability set of the calling end media gateway.
Determining an intersection of the second set and the target codec capability set.
And if the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set. And if the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set.
The calling controller firstly negotiates the calling and called codec capability sets to obtain the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set, and at least one of the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set comprises target codec capability information. And then the voice service coding and decoding capability set determined according to the calling coding and decoding capability set and the called coding and decoding capability set also comprises target coding and decoding capability information, a calling terminal target media gateway and a called terminal target media gateway are determined according to the voice service coding and decoding capability set, and then voice service between calling and called can be carried out through the calling terminal target media gateway and the called terminal target media gateway based on the target coding and decoding capability information. Therefore, the voice coding and decoding capability finally negotiated by the calling party and the called party centrally comprises the target coding and decoding mode, the voice service can be carried out based on the target coding and decoding mode, the MOS value of the voice service is improved, and the user experience is optimized.

the called terminal call controller determines a voice service coding and decoding capability set according to the calling coding and decoding capability set and the called coding and decoding capability set, and the method comprises the following steps:
determining the intersection of the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set comprises the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set is the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set; the voice service coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information, so that the called terminal call controller and/or the calling terminal call controller can determine a target media gateway according to the target coding and decoding capability information and utilize the target media gateway to carry the voice service between the calling terminal and the called terminal.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the acquiring, by the called-side call controller, the called codec capability set specifically comprises:
determining a called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set according to the coding and decoding capability information of the called terminal media gateway, determining a called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set according to the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability information, and determining a called terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the coding and decoding capability information of the called terminal;
and determining the called encoding and decoding capability set according to the called end media gateway encoding and decoding capability set, the called end wireless encoding and decoding capability set and the called terminal encoding and decoding capability set.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the determining the called codec capability set according to the called-side media gateway codec capability set, the called-side wireless codec capability set, and the called-side codec capability set specifically comprises:
determining the intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, generating the called terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set when the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set is determined to contain the target coding and decoding capability information;
if the intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, judging whether the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set contains the target coding and decoding capability information, and if the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set contains the target coding and decoding capability information, generating the called coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set; and if the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set does not contain the target coding and decoding capability information, determining the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set as the called coding and decoding capability set.
4. The method of claim 2, wherein the determining the called codec capability set according to the called-side media gateway codec capability set, the called-side wireless codec capability set, and the called-side codec capability set specifically comprises:
determining a first set, wherein the first set is an intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set;
if the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information, generating a target coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information contained in the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set;
determining an intersection of the first set and the target codec capability set;
if the intersection of the first set and the target coding and decoding capacity set is an empty set, determining that the target coding and decoding capacity set is the called coding and decoding capacity set;
and if the intersection of the first set and the target coding and decoding capacity set is a non-empty set, determining that the intersection of the first set and the target coding and decoding capacity set is the called coding and decoding capacity set.
5. A codec negotiation method, comprising:
a calling terminal call controller determines a calling encoding and decoding capability set;
the calling terminal call controller sends the calling codec capability set to a called terminal call controller, so that the called terminal call controller determines a voice service codec capability set according to the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set, and the method comprises the following steps:
determining the intersection of the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set comprises the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set is the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set; the voice service coding and decoding capability set comprises target coding and decoding capability information, and at least one of the calling coding and decoding capability set and the called coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein the determining, by the calling-side call controller, the calling codec capability set specifically comprises:
determining a calling terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set according to the coding and decoding capability information of the calling terminal media gateway, determining a calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set according to the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability information, and determining a calling terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the coding and decoding capability information of the calling terminal;
and determining the calling encoding and decoding capability set according to the calling terminal media gateway encoding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal wireless encoding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal encoding and decoding capability set.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the determining the calling codec capability set according to the calling-side media gateway codec capability set, the calling-side wireless codec capability set, and the calling-side terminal codec capability set specifically comprises:
determining the intersection of the calling terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, when the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set is determined to contain the target coding and decoding capability information, generating the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set, the calling terminal wireless codec capability set and the calling terminal codec capability set is a non-empty set, if the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set contains the target codec capability information, generating the calling terminal codec capability set according to the target codec capability information in the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set; and if the coding and decoding capability set of the media gateway of the calling terminal does not contain the target coding and decoding capability information, determining the coding and decoding capability set of the media gateway of the calling terminal as the coding and decoding capability set of the calling terminal.
8. The method of claim 6, wherein if the target codec capability information is included in the calling-side media gateway codec capability set, generating a target codec capability set according to the target codec capability information included in the calling-side media gateway codec capability set;
then, the determining the calling codec capability set according to the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set, the calling terminal wireless codec capability set, and the calling terminal codec capability set specifically includes:
determining a second set, wherein the second set is an intersection of the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set, the calling terminal wireless codec capability set and the calling terminal codec capability set;
determining an intersection of the second set and the target codec capability set;
if the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set;
and if the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set.
9. A called-side call controller, comprising:
the acquiring unit is used for acquiring a calling encoding and decoding capability set and a called encoding and decoding capability set; at least one of the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set comprises target codec capability information;
a determining unit, configured to determine a voice service codec capability set according to the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set, including:
determining the intersection of the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set comprises the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set is the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set; the voice service coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information, so that the called terminal call controller and/or the calling terminal call controller can determine a target media gateway according to the target coding and decoding capability information and utilize the target media gateway to carry the voice service between the calling terminal and the called terminal.
10. The called-side call controller according to claim 9, wherein the obtaining unit is specifically configured to,
determining a called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set according to the coding and decoding capability information of the called terminal media gateway, determining a called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set according to the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability information, and determining a called terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the coding and decoding capability information of the called terminal;
determining the called encoding and decoding capability set according to the called end media gateway encoding and decoding capability set, the called end wireless encoding and decoding capability set and the called terminal encoding and decoding capability set; at least one of the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information.
11. The called-side call controller according to claim 10, wherein the obtaining unit is specifically configured to determine an intersection of the called-side media gateway codec capability set, the called-side wireless codec capability set, and the called-side terminal codec capability set;
if the intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, generating the called terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set when the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set is determined to contain the target coding and decoding capability information;
if the intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, if the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set contains the target coding and decoding capability information, generating the called terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set; and if the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set does not contain the target coding and decoding capability information, determining the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set as the called coding and decoding capability set.
12. The called-side call controller according to claim 10, wherein the obtaining unit is further configured to,
determining a first set, wherein the first set is an intersection of the called terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the called terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the called terminal coding and decoding capability set;
if the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information, generating a target coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information contained in the called end media gateway coding and decoding capability set;
determining an intersection of the first set and the target codec capability set;
if the intersection of the first set and the target coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set;
and if the intersection of the first set and the target coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the intersection of the first set and the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set.
13. A calling-side call controller, comprising:
a determining unit, configured to determine a calling codec capability set;
a sending unit, configured to send the calling codec capability set to a called-side call controller, so that the called-side call controller determines a voice service codec capability set according to the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set, where the sending unit includes:
determining the intersection of the calling codec capability set and the called codec capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set comprises the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the voice service encoding and decoding capability set is the intersection of the calling encoding and decoding capability set and the called encoding and decoding capability set; the voice service coding and decoding capability set comprises target coding and decoding capability information, and at least one of the calling coding and decoding capability set and the called coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information;
and the receiving unit is used for receiving the voice service coding and decoding capability set sent by the called terminal call controller.

The calling-side call controller according to claim 13, wherein the determining unit is specifically configured to determine a calling-side media gateway codec capability set according to the codec capability information of the calling-side media gateway, determine a calling-side wireless codec capability set according to the calling-side wireless codec capability information, and determine a calling-side terminal codec capability set according to the codec capability information of the calling terminal;
and determining the calling encoding and decoding capability set according to the calling terminal media gateway encoding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal wireless encoding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal encoding and decoding capability set.

The calling-side call controller according to claim 14, wherein the determining unit is specifically configured to determine an intersection of the calling-side media gateway codec capability set, the calling-side wireless codec capability set, and the calling-side terminal codec capability set;
if the intersection of the calling terminal media gateway coding and decoding capability set, the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set and the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, when the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set is determined to contain the target coding and decoding capability information, generating the calling terminal coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information in the calling terminal wireless coding and decoding capability set;
if the intersection of the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set, the calling terminal wireless codec capability set and the calling terminal codec capability set is a non-empty set, if the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set contains the target codec capability information, generating the calling terminal codec capability set according to the target codec capability information in the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set; and if the coding and decoding capability set of the media gateway of the calling terminal does not contain the target coding and decoding capability information, determining the coding and decoding capability set of the media gateway of the calling terminal as the coding and decoding capability set of the calling terminal.
16. Calling-end call controller according to claim 14, characterized in that the determining unit is specifically configured to,
determining a second set, wherein the second set is an intersection of the calling terminal media gateway codec capability set, the calling terminal wireless codec capability set and the calling terminal codec capability set;
if the calling end media gateway coding and decoding capability set comprises the target coding and decoding capability information, generating a target coding and decoding capability set according to the target coding and decoding capability information contained in the calling end media gateway coding and decoding capability set;
determining an intersection of the second set and the target codec capability set;
if the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is an empty set, determining that the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set;
and if the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is a non-empty set, determining that the intersection of the second set and the target coding and decoding capability set is the calling coding and decoding capability set.
