Referring to fig. 1, an electronic device 100 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a housing 10 and a circuit board assembly 50 (see fig. 4) mounted in the housing 10. The electronic device 100 may be electrically connected to at least one pluggable power module 80. In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may be a host.
Referring to fig. 1 and 4, the housing 10 includes a bottom plate 20, a rear plate 30 vertically connected to the rear end of the bottom plate 20, two side plates 40 respectively vertically connected to two sides of the bottom plate 20, and a cover plate (not shown). The circuit board module 50 can be mounted to the base plate 20. A partition plate 25 is vertically installed in the middle of the bottom plate 20, the partition plate 25 is substantially parallel to the rear plate 30, and two ends of the partition plate 25 are respectively connected to the two side plates 40. An opening 31 is formed in the rear plate 30 near one of the side plates 40, and the power module 80 can be inserted into the housing 10 from the opening 31. The main board 60 may be mounted to the bottom plate 20 of the housing 10 and received in the gap 36. The main board 60 is provided with a plurality of connectors 65 between the two baffles 35 for connecting the adapter board 70. The adapter plate 70 at least includes a first adapter plate 71 and a second adapter plate 72. When the electronic device 100 needs to be externally connected with the power module 80, the power module 80 may be inserted into the housing 10 from the opening 31 of the rear plate 30, and the adapter of the power module 80 is inserted into the adapter of the adapter plate 70, so that the power module 80 is electrically connected with the adapter plate 70 and further electrically connected with the motherboard 60.
Further, when the electronic device 100 needs to be externally connected with the first power module 81, the first adapter plate 71 is slidably mounted in the housing 10 and electrically connected with the motherboard 60, and then the first power module 81 is inserted into the housing 10 from the opening 31 of the rear plate 30, and the first adapter 811 of the first power module 81 is inserted into the first adapter 711 of the first adapter plate 71, so that the first power module 81 is electrically connected with the first adapter plate 71 and further electrically connected with the motherboard 60.
Further, when the electronic device 100 needs to be externally connected with the second power module 82, the second adapter plate 72 is slidably mounted in the housing 10 and electrically connected with the motherboard 60, and then the second power module 82 is inserted into the housing 10 from the opening 31 of the rear plate 30, and the second adapter 821 of the second power module 82 is inserted into the second adapter 721 of the second adapter plate 72, so that the second power module 82 is electrically connected with the second adapter plate 72 and further electrically connected with the motherboard 60.
Further, when the electronic device 100 needs to be externally connected with the third power module 83, the third adapter plate 73 is slidably mounted in the housing 10 and electrically connected with the motherboard 60, and then the third power module 83 is inserted into the housing 10 from the opening 31 of the rear plate 30, and the third adapter 831 of the third power module 83 is inserted into the third adapter port 731 of the third adapter plate 73, so that the third power module 83 is electrically connected with the third adapter plate 73 and further electrically connected with the motherboard 60.
