In an M2M network, a plurality of M2M terminals are included, M2M terminals run M2M applications, and are connected to a network side service platform through an underlying bearer network, such as GSM, WCDMA, Wifi, etc., data of the M2M applications must be sent to a target address through the underlying bearer network, and data of the M2M applications actually send data on the underlying bearer network through an interface provided by a Common Service Entity (CSE).

Step 305, after receiving the network status response, the CSE may find that the resource including the acquired network information process identifier is a first resource according to the acquired network information process identifier, and then find a second resource according to an attribute network link of the first resource; determining whether a network status indication for storing network status information is included in the attributes of the second resource: if so, the CSE acquires the network state information from the network state response and sets the attribute network state indication according to the network state information; if not, the CSE creates a new attribute for the second resource: a network status indication; and the CSE acquires the network state information from the network state response and sets attribute network state indication according to the network state information.
The processing mode for setting the attribute network state indication according to the network state information may be: storing the network state information directly to the network state indication; alternatively, new network state information is generated and stored in the network state indication based on the network state information and other relevant information (e.g., topology, etc.).
The embodiment of the invention enhances the function of the CSE, creates the first resource and the attribute of the first resource when the AE is determined to have the authority of creating the first resource after the CSE receives the request for creating the first resource sent by the AE, and triggers the process of acquiring the network state information: the CSE sends a network state request to a bearing network element and requests the bearing network element to feed back network state information of a specified area to the CSE; after receiving a network state response which is sent by a bearer network element and carries network state information of a designated area, the CSE acquires the network state information from the network state response, and sets an attribute network state indication according to the network state information, so that the CSE can acquire the network state information of the bearer network before transmitting AE data, and similarly, the AE can acquire the network state information of the bearer network stored by the CSE before transmitting the data, for example, whether the bearer network is currently congested or not, if the bearer network is congested, the data cannot be transmitted to a destination address through the bearer network, the CSE or the AE can adopt operations such as suspending data transmission and the like to avoid data transmission failure and further improve the success rate of data transmission; meanwhile, the AE can more flexibly acquire the current network state information of the bearer network in a quantization mode according to the characteristics of the size, the persistence and the like of the data packet to be transmitted, and the success rate of data transmission can be further improved on the premise of having the network information acquired according to the requirements.
Fig. 4 is a signaling flowchart of a method for acquiring network status information of a bearer network according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the embodiment of the present invention is implemented based on the foregoing condition 2, and as shown in fig. 4, the method includes:
step 401, receiving a network state information acquisition request sent by AE by a CSE; the network status information obtaining request is configured to obtain network status information, where the network status information obtaining request may include the following parameters:
1) the address of the second resource, is used to store network information.
2) Attribute name: indicating that the AE needs to read a specific attribute of said second resource, which is determined by the value of the attribute name. The parameter "attribute name" is optional: if the network state information acquisition request does not comprise the parameter, indicating that the AE needs to read all information of the second resource; or if the network state information acquisition request comprises the parameter, setting the value of the parameter as a network state indication, wherein the network state indication is used for storing the network state information; or setting the value of the parameter to an attribute name list, wherein the list comprises the network state indication. That is, whatever the method for setting the value of the attribute name is adopted, the aim is to include a network status indication in the information that the AE needs to read, or briefly, the AE requests to read the value of the attribute "network status indication" of the second resource.
Step 402, the CSE determines that the attribute of the second resource includes a network status indication and the value of the network status indication is null, and triggers a network status information acquisition process, that is: the CSE sends a network state request to a network element of a bearer network, wherein the network state request comprises:
1) and a threshold value d, configured to indicate a congestion threshold value when the bearer network sends a network status response to the CSE, where the threshold value d may be set by the CSE according to a local policy.
2) A duration d, configured to indicate a duration for a bearer network to continuously send a network status response to the CSE, where a value of the parameter duration d may be set by the CSE according to a local policy; when the network status request does not include the parameter duration d, it indicates that the CSE needs to acquire the network status information only once.
3) The area information d is used for indicating to acquire the network state information of the designated area of the bearer network, and the area information d may be an existing attribute of the first resource, or an existing attribute of another resource (for example, in a resource storing terminal node information in the CSE or a resource storing location information exclusively), and has been set in advance.
4) And acquiring a network information process identifier for identifying the current network state information acquisition process, wherein the value of the network information process identifier is distributed by the CSE.
Step 403, after receiving the network status request sent by the CSE, the bearer network element sends a network status response to the CSE; wherein the network status response comprises: the network state information of the designated area indicated by the area information d, and the process identification of the acquired network information.
Step 404, after receiving the network status response, the CSE obtains the network status information from the network status response, and sets the attribute network status indication according to the network status information;
the processing mode for setting the attribute network state indication according to the network state information may be: storing the network state information directly to the network state indication; alternatively, new network state information is generated and stored in the network state indication based on the network state information and other relevant information (e.g., topology, etc.).
The embodiment of the invention enhances the function of the CSE, and determines whether the attribute of the second resource comprises a network state indication or not after the CSE receives a network state information acquisition request sent by AE; if yes, and if the value of the network state indication is empty, triggering a network state information acquisition process: the CSE sends a network state request to a bearing network element and requests the bearing network element to feed back network state information of a specified area to the CSE; after receiving a network state response which is sent by a bearer network element and carries network state information of a designated area, the CSE acquires the network state information from the network state response, and sets an attribute network state indication according to the network state information, so that the CSE can acquire the network state information of the bearer network before transmitting AE data, and similarly, before transmitting the data, the AE can acquire the network state information of the bearer network stored by the CSE, for example, whether the bearer network is currently congested or not, if the bearer network is congested, the data cannot be transmitted to a destination address through the bearer network, and the CSE or the AE can adopt operations such as suspending data transmission, so as to avoid data transmission failure and further improve the success rate of data transmission; meanwhile, the AE can more flexibly acquire the current network state information of the bearer network in a quantization mode according to the characteristics of the size, the persistence and the like of the data packet to be transmitted, and the success rate of data transmission can be further improved on the premise of having the network information acquired according to the requirements.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the method for acquiring network state information of a bearer network according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes: the method for stopping the network state information acquisition process specifically comprises the following steps:
if the CSE determines that the preset condition for triggering the network state information acquisition stopping process is met, sending a network state stopping request to the network element of the bearing network; the network state stopping request comprises a network information process identification;
after receiving the request for stopping the network state, the network element of the bearing network stops the process of acquiring the network state information and sends a response message to the CSE;
and after receiving the response message, the CSE deletes the value of the attribute 'network state indication'.
The preset condition for triggering and stopping the network status information acquisition process may include:
1) upon expiration of the validity period of the first resource;
2) the CSE receives a request for stopping network state information acquisition sent by AE;
3) the CSE receives a resource updating request sent by AE, wherein the resource updating request is used for requesting to set the value of attribute duration a to be 0 or null;
4) and the CSE receives a resource deleting request sent by AE, wherein the resource deleting request is used for requesting the CSE to delete the first resource.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the method for acquiring network state information of a bearer network according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes: after the CSE stops the network status information acquisition process, if the CSE determines that the preset condition for triggering the network status information acquisition process again is satisfied, the network status information acquisition process is triggered again, and the specific steps refer to the specific description in the above embodiment and are not described herein again. The condition for triggering the network status information acquisition process again may include:
1) the CSE receives a network state information acquisition request sent by AE, and is used for acquiring network state information, and the value of the attribute network state indication is null;
2) and the CSE receives a resource updating request sent by AE, wherein the resource updating request is used for creating the attribute duration or updating the value of the attribute duration a from 0 or null to a numerical value larger than 0.
The embodiment of the invention enhances the function of the CSE, adds a first resource for storing and acquiring the control parameter of the network state information, adds a second resource capable of managing the network information of the bearer network, and correspondingly realizes the acquisition and management of the network information of the bearer network by the signaling interaction process of the CSE and the network elements of the bearer network, thus the CSE can acquire the network state information of the bearer network before transmitting the data of the AE, and similarly, the AE can acquire the network state information of the bearer network stored by the CSE before transmitting the data, for example, whether the bearer network is congested currently, if the bearer network is congested, the data can not be transmitted to a destination address through the bearer network, and the CSE or the AE can adopt operations such as temporarily delaying data transmission and the like to avoid data transmission failure and further improve the success rate of data transmission; meanwhile, the AE can more flexibly acquire the current network state information of the bearer network in a quantization mode according to the characteristics of the size, the persistence and the like of the data packet to be transmitted, and the success rate of data transmission can be further improved on the premise of having the network information acquired according to the requirements.
Fig. 5 is a structural diagram of an apparatus for acquiring network state information of a bearer network according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the apparatus for acquiring network state information of a bearer network may be disposed inside a CES, or may be separately configured; as shown in fig. 5, the apparatus for acquiring network status information of a bearer network includes:
a determining module 501, configured to determine whether a preset condition for triggering a network status information obtaining process is met;
a sending module 502, configured to send a network status request to a network element of a bearer network when the determining module 501 determines that a preset condition for triggering a network status information obtaining process is met;
a receiving module 503, configured to receive a network status response sent by the bearer network element; wherein the network status response comprises the network status information;
an obtaining module 504, configured to obtain the network status information according to the network status response received by the receiving module 503.
In the embodiment of the present invention, by enhancing the function of the CSE, when the determining module 501 determines that the preset condition for triggering the network status information obtaining process is satisfied, the sending module 502 sends a network status request to a network element of the bearer network, and requests the network element of the bearer network to feed back the network status information; after the receiving module 503 receives a network status response carrying network status information sent by a bearer network element, the obtaining module 504 obtains the network status information, so that the network status information of the bearer network can be obtained before the CSE forwards the data of the AE, and similarly, the network status information of the bearer network stored by the CSE can be obtained before the AE sends the data, for example, whether the bearer network is currently congested or not, if the bearer network is congested, the data cannot be sent to a destination address through the bearer network, and the CSE or the AE can adopt operations such as suspending sending the data and the like to avoid data sending failure, thereby improving the success rate of data sending; meanwhile, the AE can more flexibly acquire the current network state information of the bearer network in a quantization mode according to the characteristics of the size, the persistence and the like of the data packet to be transmitted, and the success rate of data transmission can be further improved on the premise of having the network information acquired according to the requirements.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the network status request includes area information and a process identifier for acquiring network information.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a request for creating a first resource, which is sent by an Application Entity (AE);
the determining module 501 is further configured to determine that a preset condition for triggering a network status information obtaining process is satisfied when it is determined that the AE has an authority to create the first resource according to the request for creating the first resource received by the receiving module 503; the attribute of the first resource comprises area information and a process identifier for acquiring network information.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the attribute of the first resource further includes: a threshold value, and/or a duration;
the network status request further comprises: the threshold value, and/or the duration.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a resource update request sent by the AE; the resource updating request is used for requesting to create the attribute duration or requesting to update the value of the attribute duration from 0 or null to a numerical value greater than 0;
the determining module 501 is further configured to determine that a preset condition triggering a network status information obtaining process is satisfied when the receiving module 503 receives the resource update request sent by the AE.
Fig. 6 is another structural diagram of an apparatus for acquiring network status information of a bearer network according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention is based on the apparatus shown in fig. 5; as shown in fig. 6, the apparatus provided in the embodiment of the present invention also includes: a determining module 501, a sending module 502, a receiving module 503 and an obtaining module 504, and each functional module also has the functions and functions in fig. 5; further, the apparatus provided in the embodiment of the present invention further includes a setting module 505;
attributes of the first resource further comprising a network status indication for storing network status information;
the setting module 505 is configured to, after the obtaining module 504 obtains the network state information according to the network state response received by the receiving module 503, set the attribute network state indication according to the network state information.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the attribute of the first resource further includes a network link for identifying the second resource; the second resource is used for storing network information;
the determining module 501 is further configured to determine whether the attribute of the second resource includes a network status indication for storing network status information, and if so, the setting module 505 is further configured to set the attribute network status indication according to the network status information; otherwise, the setting module 505 is further configured to create a new attribute for the second resource: a network status indication; the setting module 505 is further configured to set the attribute network status indication according to the network status information.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a network status information obtaining request sent by AE; the network state information acquisition request comprises an address of the second resource, and the second resource is used for storing network information;
the determining module 501 is further configured to determine, according to the network status information obtaining request received by the receiving module 503, that the attribute of the second resource includes a network status indication used for storing the network status information, and when a value of the network status indication is null, it is determined that a preset condition for triggering a network status information obtaining process is satisfied.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the setting module 505 is further configured to set the attribute network state indication according to the network state information after the obtaining module obtains the network state information from the network state response.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a request for stopping network state information acquisition sent by AE;
the sending module 502 is further configured to send a request for stopping the network state to the network element of the bearer network when the receiving module 503 receives the request for stopping the network state information acquisition sent by the AE;
the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a response message sent by the bearer network element.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a resource deletion request or a resource update request sent by the AE; the resource deletion request is used for requesting the CSE to delete the first resource, and the resource update request is used for requesting that the value of the attribute duration is set to be 0 or null;
the sending module 502 is further configured to send a request for stopping a network state to the network element of the bearer network when the receiving module 503 receives a resource deletion request sent by the AE or a resource update request;
the receiving module 503 is further configured to receive a response message sent by the bearer network element.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the network status information includes network throughput; or, network congestion status.
In practical applications, the determining module 501, the sending module 502, the receiving module 503, the obtaining module 504, and the setting module 505 may be implemented by a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a microprocessor unit (MPU), a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), or the like in the CSE.
As will be appreciated by one skilled in the art, embodiments of the present invention may be provided as a method, system, or computer program product. Accordingly, the present invention may take the form of a hardware embodiment, a software embodiment, or an embodiment combining software and hardware aspects. Furthermore, the present invention may take the form of a computer program product embodied on one or more computer-usable storage media (including, but not limited to, disk storage, optical storage, and the like) having computer-usable program code embodied therein.
The present invention is described with reference to flowchart illustrations and/or block diagrams of methods, apparatus (systems), and computer program products according to embodiments of the invention. Claims (22)

1. A method for obtaining network state information of a bearer network is characterized by comprising the following steps:
when a public service entity CSE determines that a preset condition for triggering a network state information acquisition process is met, a network state request is sent to a bearing network element;
before forwarding data of an application entity AE, the CSE receives a network state response sent by a network element of the bearer network and acquires network state information according to the network state response; wherein the network status response comprises the network status information;
the preset condition for triggering the network state information acquisition process includes:
the CSE determines that the AE has the authority of creating the first resource according to a received request for creating the first resource sent by the AE; the attribute of the first resource comprises area information and a process identifier for acquiring network information.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the network status request comprises area information and an identity of a network information process.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the attributes of the first resource further comprise: a threshold value, and/or a duration;
the network status request further comprises: the threshold value, and/or the duration.
4. The method according to claim 3, wherein the preset condition for triggering the network status information acquisition process further comprises:
the CSE receives a resource updating request sent by AE; the resource updating request is used for requesting to create the attribute duration or requesting to update the value of the attribute duration from 0 or null to a numerical value greater than 0.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the attributes of the first resource further include a network status indication for storing network status information;
after the CSE acquires the network status information according to the network status response, the method further includes: and the CSE sets the attribute network state indication according to the network state information.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the attributes of the first resource further comprise a network link for identifying a second resource; the second resource is used for storing network information;
after the CSE acquires the network status information according to the network status response, the method further includes:
the CSE determining whether a network status indication for storing network status information is included in attributes of the second resource:
if yes, the CSE sets the attribute network state indication according to the network state information;
if not, the CSE creates an attribute network state indication for the second resource; and the CSE sets the attribute network state indication according to the network state information.
7. The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the preset condition for triggering the network status information acquisition process comprises:
the CSE determines that the attribute of the second resource comprises a network state indication used for storing the network state information and the value of the network state indication is null according to a received network state information acquisition request sent by the AE; the network state information acquisition request comprises an address of the second resource, and the second resource is used for storing network information.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein after the CSE obtains network status information according to the network status response, the method further comprises:
and the CSE sets the attribute network state indication according to the network state information.
9. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
when receiving a request for stopping network state information acquisition sent by AE, the CSE sends a request for stopping network state to a network element of the bearer network;
and the CSE receives a response message sent by the network element of the bearer network.
10. The method of claim 3, further comprising:
when the CSE receives a resource deletion request or a resource updating request sent by AE, a request for stopping network state is sent to a network element of the bearer network; the resource deletion request is used for requesting the CSE to delete the first resource, and the resource update request is used for requesting that the value of the attribute duration is set to be 0 or null;
and the CSE receives a response message sent by the network element of the bearer network.
11. The method of claim 1, wherein the network state information comprises:
network throughput; or, network congestion status.
12. An apparatus for obtaining network status information of a bearer network, the apparatus comprising:
the determining module is used for determining whether a preset condition for triggering the network state information acquiring process is met;
the sending module is used for sending a network state request to a network element of the bearer network when the determining module determines that a preset condition for triggering the network state information acquisition process is met before the data of the application entity AE is forwarded;
a receiving module, configured to receive a network status response sent by the bearer network element; wherein the network status response comprises the network status information;
the acquisition module is used for acquiring the network state information according to the network state response received by the receiving module;
the receiving module is further configured to receive a request for creating a first resource, which is sent by an AE;
the determining module is further configured to determine that a preset condition for triggering a network state information obtaining process is satisfied when the AE is determined to have the authority to create the first resource according to the request for creating the first resource received by the receiving module; the attribute of the first resource comprises area information and a process identifier for acquiring network information.
13. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the network status request comprises area information and an identity of a network information process.
14. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the attributes of the first resource further comprise: a threshold value, and/or a duration;
the network status request further comprises: the threshold value, and/or the duration.
15. The apparatus of claim 14,
the receiving module is further configured to receive a resource update request sent by the AE; the resource updating request is used for requesting to create the attribute duration or requesting to update the value of the attribute duration from 0 or null to a numerical value greater than 0;
the determining module is further configured to determine that a preset condition for triggering a network state information obtaining process is satisfied when the receiving module receives the resource updating request sent by the AE.
16. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the attributes of the first resource further comprise a network status indication for storing network status information;
the device also comprises a setting module which is used for setting the attribute network state indication according to the network state information after the acquisition module acquires the network state information according to the network state response received by the receiving module.
17. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the attributes of the first resource further comprise a network link identifying a second resource; the second resource is used for storing network information;
the device also comprises a setting module;
the determining module is further configured to determine whether a network status indication for storing network status information is included in the attribute of the second resource, and if so, the setting module is configured to set the attribute network status indication according to the network status information; otherwise, the setting module is further configured to create an attribute network status indication for the second resource;
the setting module is further configured to set the attribute network status indication according to the network status information.
18. The apparatus of claim 12 or 13,
the receiving module is further used for receiving a network state information acquisition request sent by the AE; the network state information acquisition request comprises an address of the second resource, and the second resource is used for storing network information;
the determining module is further configured to determine, according to the network state information acquisition request received by the receiving module, that the attribute of the second resource includes a network state indication used for storing the network state information, and when a value of the network state indication is null, it is determined that a preset condition for triggering a network state information acquisition process is satisfied.
19. The apparatus of claim 18, further comprising:
and the setting module is used for setting the attribute network state indication according to the network state information after the acquisition module acquires the network state information from the network state response.
20. The apparatus of claim 12,
the receiving module is further used for receiving a request for stopping network state information acquisition sent by AE;
the sending module is further configured to send a network state stop request to the bearer network element when the receiving module receives the network state stop information acquisition request sent by the AE.
21. The apparatus of claim 14,
the receiving module is further configured to receive a resource deletion request or a resource update request sent by the AE; the resource deletion request is used for requesting the CSE to delete the first resource, and the resource update request is used for requesting that the value of the attribute duration is set to be 0 or null;
the sending module is further configured to send a request for stopping a network state to the network element of the bearer network when the receiving module receives the resource deletion request or the resource update request sent by the AE;
the receiving module is further configured to receive a response message sent by the bearer network element.
22. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the network status information comprises:
network throughput; or, network congestion status.
