With the development of computer technology, the input method is applied as a tool for assisting user input, and the functions of the input method are more and more abundant. In order to enable a user to perform a real-time search for an input search word, an increasing number of input method applications provide a search function based on the search word.
However, after a user initiates a search request, the existing input method application generally only supports displaying a summary of a search result without exiting the current client application, and if detailed information of the search result needs to be displayed, a jump to a browser application is required to be performed. Therefore, the information display mode needs to be frequently switched between the current client application and the browser application, which results in a complex information display process.

The server 105 may be a server that provides various services, such as a background server that provides support for input method applications installed on the terminal devices 101, 102, 103. As shown in fig. 8, after the user clicks the first search box 801, the default interface 802 and the extension interface 803 are overlaid on the detail interface.

In this embodiment, the detail interface may further include a close icon, and in response to detecting a click operation of a user on the close icon in the detail interface, the electronic device may close the detail interface and present the default interface and the extended interface.
As can be seen from fig. 7, compared with the embodiment corresponding to fig. 2, the flow 700 of the information display method in this embodiment highlights the step of switching the interfaces based on the clicking operation of the user on the first search box and the close icon in the detail interface. Therefore, the scheme described in this embodiment can not only provide a function of displaying the detail interface in the current client application, but also realize multiple searches without closing the detail interface, thereby further improving the convenience of information search based on the input method application and further improving the richness of information display.
With further reference to fig. 9, as an implementation of the method shown in the above figures, the present application provides an embodiment of an information display apparatus, which corresponds to the embodiment of the method shown in fig. 2, and which is particularly applicable to various electronic devices.
As shown in fig. 9, the information display apparatus 900 according to the present embodiment includes: a first presentation unit 901 configured to present an extension interface above a default interface of an input method application in response to detecting a click operation of a user on a search icon in the default interface; a first generating unit 902, configured to generate, in response to detecting a click operation and/or an input operation of the user on the expansion interface, a summary information acquisition request based on the detected click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface, and send the summary information acquisition request to a server; a display unit 903, configured to receive the summary information returned by the server, and display the summary information in the extended interface to present a summary information interface; a second generating unit 904, configured to generate a web page obtaining request in response to detecting a click operation of the user on an open icon in the summary information interface, and send the web page obtaining request to the server; the switching unit 905 is configured to receive a webpage returned by the server, and switch the current interface of the input method application to a detail interface, where the detail interface is used to display the page content of the webpage.
In this embodiment, the first presenting unit 901 may determine whether the user clicks on each icon in the default interface. In response to detecting the clicking operation of the user on the search icon, an expansion interface can be presented above the default interface.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the information display apparatus 900 may further include a third presenting unit (not shown in the figure), and the third presenting unit may be configured to acquire a preset recommended search field and present the recommended search field on the expansion interface.
In some optional implementations of the present embodiment, the information display apparatus 900 may further include a sending unit and a fourth presenting unit (not shown in the figure). The sending unit may be configured to send a vertical search type query request to the server, so that the server determines a vertical search type and a name and/or an icon matching the determined vertical search type; the fourth presenting unit may be configured to receive the name and/or the icon returned by the server, and present the name and/or the icon in the expansion area.
In this embodiment, in response to detecting a click operation and/or an input operation of the user on the expansion interface, the first generating unit 902 may extract information clicked by the user and/or an input search field, and generate a summary information acquisition request using the extracted information and/or the input search field as a search keyword, where the summary information acquisition request may include the search keyword. Finally, the summary information acquisition request may be sent to a server (e.g., the server 105 shown in fig. 1) through a wired connection or a wireless connection.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the first generating unit 902 may be further configured to, in response to detecting that the user clicks a recommended search field in the extended interface, extract the recommended search field, and generate a summary information obtaining request, where the summary information obtaining request includes the recommended search field.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the expansion interface may include a second search box; and the first generating unit 902 may be further configured to, in response to detecting that the user clicks an icon on a recommended search field in the extended interface, screen the recommended search field into the second search box; and in response to detecting the click operation of the user on the search key in the default interface, extracting the fields displayed in the second search box, and generating a summary information acquisition request, wherein the summary information acquisition request comprises the fields displayed in the second search box.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the first generating unit 902 may be further configured to, in response to sequentially detecting the input operation of the user in the second search box and the click operation of the search key in the default interface, extract a field displayed in the second search box, and generate a summary information acquisition request, where the summary information acquisition request includes the field displayed in the second search box.
In this embodiment, the display unit 903 may receive the summary information returned by the server, and display the summary information in the extended interface according to a preset template, at this time, the extended interface after displaying the summary information may be regarded as a summary information interface.
In this embodiment, if the second generating unit 904 detects a click operation of the user on an open icon in the summary information interface, the second generating unit may extract a search keyword included in the summary information acquisition request, generate a web page acquisition request, and send the web page acquisition request to the server. The web page obtaining request may include the search key search term.
In this embodiment, the switching unit 905 may receive a webpage returned by the server, and switch the current interface of the input method application to a detail interface, where the detail interface is used to display page content of the webpage.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the detail interface may include a first search box; and the information display apparatus 900 may further include an overlay unit (not shown), and the overlay unit may be configured to overlay the default interface and the extended interface on the detail interface in response to detecting the user's click operation on the first search box.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the information display apparatus 900 may further include a second presenting unit (not shown in the figure), and the second presenting unit may be configured to close the detail interface and present the default interface and the extended interface in response to detecting a click operation of the user on a close icon in the detail interface.
In the apparatus provided by the above embodiment of the application, the first presenting unit 901 detects the click operation of the search icon in the default interface of the input method application so as to present the extended interface, then the first generating unit 902 generates the summary information acquisition request based on the click operation of the extended interface and/or the detection of the input operation, then the display unit 903 displays the summary information returned by the server in the extended interface to present the summary information interface, then the second generating unit 904 generates the web page acquisition request based on the detection of the click operation of the open icon in the summary information interface, and finally the switching unit 905 switches the current interface to the detailed interface, and displays the page content of the web page returned by the server in the detailed interface, so that the detailed interface can be displayed without switching between the current client application and the browser application, thereby improving the convenience of information search based on the input method application, and the richness of information display is improved. .
Referring now to FIG. 10, there is illustrated a block diagram of a computer system 1000 suitable for use in implementing the terminal device or server of the present application.
As shown in FIG. 10, computer system 1000 includes a Central Processing Unit (CPU)1001, which may be based on information stored in a Read Only Memory (ROM)1002
The program or a program loaded from the storage section 1008 into the Random Access Memory (RAM)1003 performs various appropriate actions and processes. In the RAM 1003, various programs and data necessary for the operation of the system 1000 are also stored. The CPU1001, ROM 1002, and RAM 1003 are connected to each other via a bus 1004. An input/output (I/O) interface 1005 is also connected to bus 1004.
The following components are connected to the I/O interface 1005: an input section 1006 including a touch screen, a touch panel, and the like; an output section 1007 including a display such as a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT), a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and the like, and a speaker; a storage portion 1008 including a hard disk and the like; and a communication section 1009 including a network interface card such as a LAN card, a modem, or the like. The communication section 1009 performs communication processing via a network such as the internet. The driver 1010 is also connected to the I/O interface 1005 as necessary. A removable medium 1011 such as a magnetic disk, an optical disk, a magneto-optical disk, a semiconductor memory, or the like is mounted on the drive 1010 as necessary, so that a computer program read out therefrom is mounted into the storage section 1008 as necessary.
In particular, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the processes described above with reference to the flowcharts may be implemented as computer software programs. For example, embodiments of the present disclosure include a computer program product comprising a computer program tangibly embodied on a machine-readable medium, the computer program comprising program code for performing the method illustrated in the flow chart. In such an embodiment, the computer program may be downloaded and installed from a network through the communication part 1009 and/or installed from the removable medium 1011. The above-described functions defined in the method of the present application are executed when the computer program is executed by the Central Processing Unit (CPU) 1001.
The flowchart and block diagrams in the figures illustrate the architecture, functionality, and operation of possible implementations of systems, methods and computer program products according to various embodiments of the present application. In this regard, each block in the flowchart or block diagrams may represent a module, segment, or portion of code, which comprises one or more executable instructions for implementing the specified logical function(s). It should also be noted that, in some alternative implementations, the functions noted in the block may occur out of the order noted in the figures. For example, two blocks shown in succession may, in fact, be executed substantially concurrently, or the blocks may sometimes be executed in the reverse order, depending upon the functionality involved. It will also be noted that each block of the block diagrams and/or flowchart illustration, and combinations of blocks in the block diagrams and/or flowchart illustration, can be implemented by special purpose hardware-based systems which perform the specified functions or acts, or combinations of special purpose hardware and computer instructions.
The units described in the embodiments of the present application may be implemented by software or hardware. The described units may also be provided in a processor, and may be described as: a processor includes a first presentation unit, a first generation unit, a display unit, a second generation unit, and a switching unit. Where the names of the cells do not in some cases constitute a limitation on the cell itself, for example, the first presentation cell may also be described as a "cell presenting an extended interface above a default interface".
As another aspect, the present application also provides a non-volatile computer storage medium, which may be the non-volatile computer storage medium included in the apparatus in the above-described embodiments; or it may be a non-volatile computer storage medium that exists separately and is not incorporated into the terminal. The non-transitory computer storage medium stores one or more programs that, when executed by a device, cause the device to: in response to detecting that a user clicks a search icon in a default interface of an input method application, presenting an expansion interface above the default interface; in response to the detection of the click operation and/or the input operation of the user on the expansion interface, generating a summary information acquisition request based on the detected click operation and/or the detected input operation on the expansion interface, and sending the summary information acquisition request to a server; receiving the summary information returned by the server, and displaying the summary information in the expansion interface to present a summary information interface; responding to the click operation of the user on the opening icon in the summary information interface, generating a webpage acquisition request, and sending the webpage acquisition request to the server; and receiving a webpage returned by the server, and switching the current interface applied by the input method into a detail interface, wherein the detail interface is used for displaying the page content of the webpage.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the application and is illustrative of the principles of the technology employed. It will be appreciated by a person skilled in the art that the scope of the invention as referred to in the present application is not limited to the embodiments with a specific combination of the above-mentioned features, but also covers other embodiments with any combination of the above-mentioned features or their equivalents without departing from the inventive concept. For example, the above features may be replaced with (but not limited to) features having similar functions disclosed in the present application.

Claims (14)

1. An information display method, characterized in that the method comprises:
in response to detecting a click operation of a user on a search icon in a default interface of an input method application, presenting an expansion interface above the default interface;
sending a vertical search type query request to a server to enable the server to determine a vertical search type and a name and/or an icon matched with the determined vertical search type;
receiving the name and/or the icon returned by the server, and presenting the name and/or the icon in the expansion interface;
in response to the detection of the click operation and/or the input operation of the user on the expansion interface, generating a summary information acquisition request based on the detected click operation and/or the detected input operation on the expansion interface, and sending the summary information acquisition request to the server;
receiving summary information returned by the server, and displaying the summary information in the expansion interface to present a summary information interface;
responding to the click operation of the user on an open icon in the summary information interface, generating a webpage acquisition request, and sending the webpage acquisition request to the server;
and receiving a webpage returned by the server, and switching the current interface of the input method application into a detail interface, wherein the detail interface is used for displaying the page content of the webpage.
2. The information display method according to claim 1, wherein the detail interface includes a first search box; and
the method further comprises the following steps:
in response to detecting the clicking operation of the user on the first search box, overlaying the default interface and the expansion interface on the detail interface.
3. The information display method of claim 1, wherein after presenting an extended interface over the default interface, the method further comprises:
and in response to detecting the clicking operation of the user on a closing icon in the detail interface, closing the detail interface, and presenting the default interface and the expansion interface.
4. The information display method of claim 1, wherein after presenting an extended interface over the default interface, the method further comprises:
and acquiring a preset recommended search field, and presenting the recommended search field on the expansion interface.
5. The information display method according to claim 4, wherein the generating of the summary information acquisition request based on the detected click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface in response to the detection of the click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface by the user comprises:
in response to the fact that clicking operation of the user on the recommended search field in the expansion interface is detected, the recommended search field is extracted, and a summary information obtaining request is generated, wherein the summary information obtaining request comprises the recommended search field.
6. The information display method according to claim 4, wherein the expansion interface includes a second search box; and
the generating of the summary information acquisition request based on the detected click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface in response to the detection of the click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface by the user comprises:
in response to detecting that the user clicks a screen icon of a recommended search field in the expansion interface, the recommended search field is displayed in the second search box;
and in response to the fact that the user clicks a search key in the default interface, extracting the fields displayed in the second search box, and generating a summary information acquisition request, wherein the summary information acquisition request comprises the fields displayed in the second search box.
7. The information display method according to claim 6, wherein the generating of the summary information acquisition request based on the detected click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface in response to the detection of the click operation and/or input operation on the expansion interface by the user comprises:
and in response to the fact that the input operation of the user in the second search box and the clicking operation of the search key in the default interface are detected in sequence, extracting the fields displayed in the second search box, and generating a summary information acquisition request, wherein the summary information acquisition request comprises the fields displayed in the second search box.
8. An information display apparatus, characterized in that the apparatus comprises:
the input method application system comprises a first presentation unit and a second presentation unit, wherein the first presentation unit is used for responding to the click operation of a user on a search icon in a default interface of an input method application and presenting an expansion interface above the default interface;
the device comprises a sending unit and a processing unit, wherein the sending unit is used for sending a vertical search type query request to a server so that the server determines a vertical search type and a name and/or an icon matched with the determined vertical search type;
the fourth presentation unit is configured to receive the name and/or the icon returned by the server, and present the name and/or the icon in the expansion interface;
the first generating unit is used for responding to the detection of the clicking operation and/or the input operation of the user on the expansion interface, generating a summary information acquisition request based on the detected clicking operation and/or the detected input operation on the expansion interface, and sending the summary information acquisition request to the server;
the display unit is configured to receive the summary information returned by the server and display the summary information in the extended interface so as to present a summary information interface;
the second generating unit is configured to generate a webpage obtaining request in response to the fact that the user clicks an open icon in the summary information interface, and send the webpage obtaining request to the server;
and the switching unit is configured to receive the webpage returned by the server and switch the current interface applied by the input method to a detail interface, and the detail interface is used for displaying the page content of the webpage.
9. The information display device according to claim 8, wherein the detail interface includes a first search box; and
the device further comprises:
an overlaying unit configured to overlay the default interface and the extension interface on the detail interface in response to detecting the click operation of the user on the first search box.
10. The information display device according to claim 8, characterized in that the device further comprises:
and the second presentation unit is configured to close the detail interface and present the default interface and the expansion interface in response to detecting that the user clicks a close icon in the detail interface.
11. The information display device according to claim 8, characterized in that the device further comprises:
and the third presentation unit is configured to acquire a preset recommended search field and present the recommended search field on the expansion interface.
12. The information display device according to claim 11, wherein the first generation unit is further configured to:
in response to the fact that clicking operation of the user on the recommended search field in the expansion interface is detected, the recommended search field is extracted, and a summary information obtaining request is generated, wherein the summary information obtaining request comprises the recommended search field.
13. The information display device of claim 11, wherein the expansion interface includes a second search box; and
the first generating unit is further configured to:
in response to detecting that the user clicks a screen icon of a recommended search field in the expansion interface, the recommended search field is displayed in the second search box;
and in response to the fact that the user clicks a search key in the default interface, extracting the fields displayed in the second search box, and generating a summary information acquisition request, wherein the summary information acquisition request comprises the fields displayed in the second search box.
14. The information display device according to claim 13, wherein the first generation unit is further configured to:
and in response to the fact that the input operation of the user in the second search box and the clicking operation of the search key in the default interface are detected in sequence, extracting the fields displayed in the second search box, and generating a summary information acquisition request, wherein the summary information acquisition request comprises the fields displayed in the second search box.
