The invention relates to a bottle head valve and a working method thereof, the bottle head valve comprises a valve body and a locking device, wherein a hand wheel is arranged on the valve body, a positioning piece is arranged at the lower end of the hand wheel, an annular groove with a downward opening is arranged at the lower side of the hand wheel, and inverted teeth are arranged on the inner top wall of the annular groove; the locking device comprises a movable check piece, a bolt and a spring, wherein the movable check piece can move along the axial direction of the valve body, the movable check piece is arranged in the annular groove, a through hole penetrates through the outer side wall of the movable check piece, and when the bolt penetrates through the through hole, the spring is in a compression state. The top surface of the movable check piece is also provided with check teeth which are used for being meshed with the inverted teeth, after the hand wheel moves upwards to a preset position, the bolt is pulled out, the movable check piece moves upwards, and the check teeth are meshed with the inverted teeth. According to the bottle head valve, the spring is matched with the movable check piece, the inverted teeth and the check teeth are meshed with each other to prevent the bottle head valve from being closed due to the rotation of the hand wheel, and the risk of suffocation is avoided.

The present invention provides a bottle head valve, comprising: the valve body is provided with a quincuncial hand wheel for controlling the opening and closing of the valve body, the lower end of the hand wheel is provided with a positioning piece which is used for preventing the hand wheel from excessively rotating and is fixed at the top of the valve body, an annular groove with a downward opening is arranged at the lower side of the hand wheel and at the inner side of the positioning piece, and the inner top wall of the annular groove is provided with inverted teeth; the locking device comprises a movable check piece, a bolt and a spring, wherein the movable check piece can move along the axial direction of the valve body, the movable check piece is arranged in an annular groove, the top of the inner side wall of the movable check piece is provided with a lug extending inwards, the spring is arranged below the lug and between the movable check piece and the wall body of the annular groove, the outer side wall of the movable check piece is provided with a first through groove, the inner side wall of the positioning piece is provided with a second through groove, the first through groove and the second through groove are matched to form a through hole during assembly, and when the bolt is arranged in the through hole in a penetrating manner, the spring is in a compressed state; the top surface of the movable check piece is further provided with check teeth which are used for being meshed with the inverted teeth, after the hand wheel moves upwards to a preset position, the bolt is pulled out, the spring resets and drives the movable check piece to move upwards, and the check teeth are meshed with the inverted teeth.
When the emergency escape breathing device with the bottle head valve is used, the hand wheel is rotated anticlockwise firstly to enable the hand wheel to move upwards to a preset position, the valve body is opened, the space at the bottom of the annular groove is expanded, the bolt inserted into the through hole is pulled out, the movable check piece moves upwards in the annular groove under the action of the spring, the check tooth of the movable check piece is meshed with the inverted tooth, and the hand wheel is prevented from rotating; even if maloperation appears in the use, pawl and non return tooth intermeshing prevent that the hand wheel rotation from causing the bottle head valve to close, avoid appearing stifling danger.

7. The method of operating a bottle head valve as set forth in claim 1, comprising: rotating the hand wheel anticlockwise so that the hand wheel moves upwards to a preset position, opening the valve body and expanding the space at the bottom of the annular groove;
then, the bolt inserted into the through hole is pulled out, and the movable check piece moves upwards in the annular groove under the action of the spring, so that the check teeth of the movable check piece are meshed with the inverted teeth, and the hand wheel is prevented from rotating.
