Description

衬垫料变形机和配送台的组合装置
本发明一般地涉及一种衬垫料变形机和配送台的组合装置。本发明具体涉及如下设计的配送台,使得衬垫料变形机可滑动地安装在配送台的工作台面下面。滑动地安装机器便于方便地装上原料、使原料容易穿引和/或方便地维修机器的某些部件。
在将物品从一地运到另一地时,通常需要将保护性的填塞物装在装运箱中,以便填充空隙和/或在运输期间衬垫所运物品。通常所用保护性填充料是泡末塑料豆或泡塑填塞物。尽管这些常规的塑料材料似乎很适合作衬垫产品,但是它们不是没有缺点。泡沫塑料包装物和/或泡沫塑料豆的最严重的缺点或许是它们对环境的影响。很简单,这些塑料填充物不能生物降解,因此它们不可避免地进一步恶化了在我们星球上已很严重的废物处理问题。由于很多产业从环境保护的责任出发采用更先进的政策,所以这些材料的非生物降解性的问题变得日益严重。
常规塑料包装材料的这些及其它缺点使得纸质的保护性包装材料成为很受欢迎的替代品。纸可以生物降解,可以回收和再生,因此纸对于有责任心的公司来说已成为一种对环境负责的选择。
尽管片状的纸也可以用作保护性的包装材料,但是最好将这种纸张变形为密度相当低的垫状的缓冲衬垫产品。这种变形可以用衬垫料变形机来实现,例如用美国专利申请No.07/840306;07/840306;07/712203(现在是美国专利No.5123889)和07/592 572中公开的变型机。
这种衬垫料变型机将片状的原料例如卷在空心管上的多层纸变形为密度相当低的衬垫。具体为,这种机器将这种衬垫原料变形为连续的分离条带,该条带具有由薄的中心条分开的侧向枕形部分。该条带沿其中心条被压纹,形成压纹的条带,该压纹条带被切成要求长度的区段或衬垫。
在上述申请中公开的衬垫料变形机包括一个机架和装在该机架上的变形组件。机器的变形组件包括一坯料供料组件、一成形组件、一齿轮组件、一切割组件和一切后约束组件。衬垫料变形机还可以包括至少控制变形组件中一些组件的电路。在优选的机器中,电控的变形组件是齿轮组件和切割组件。电路通常包括常用于测试目的的电气配电板。
在准备机器的操作时,衬垫坯料装在坯料供料组件上。然后使衬垫坯料的前部“穿过”成形组件。这种穿过通常要求将衬垫坯料的前部折叠成三角形,并用手将该前部引过成形组件(即成形框架和会聚滑槽),使三角“点”位于齿轮组件的齿轮之间。在进行穿引操作期间,可以使机器框架的顶盖绕纵向铰链转动,从而可以接近成形组件。
在操作衬垫料变形机时,坯料供料组件将衬垫坯料输送到成形组件。成形组件使片状衬垫坯料的侧边缘向内滚,使其形成连续条带的侧向枕形部分。然后齿轮组件将衬垫坯料拉过机器,并且还压出连续条带的中心条,构成压纹的条带。然后压纹的条带顺流到切割组件,该切割组件将压纹的条带切割成要求长度的区段或衬垫。这些切割的部分随后通过切后约束组件。
本申请人欣赏的是这种衬垫料变形机可以装在配送台的工作台下面。在这种配置中,机器的最后出口(即切后约束组件的出射开孔)可以与配送台的工作台上的开口对齐。这样,衬垫料产品或衬垫在机器操作期间将堆放在工作台上。因此,包装工人可以方便地将衬垫放在运输箱中,以填满空隙和/或在装运期间衬垫所运物品。
虽然本申请人注意到在实际包装过程中上一节所讨论的机器/配送台组合件工作很理想,但是也注意到,在准备和/或操作期间也会遇到一些不方便。例如,因为机器位于配送台的工作台的下面,所以在装/卸原料时要求包装工人伸手到工作台的下面。另外,因为盖子的门是纵向铰接的,所以在穿引衬垫料时,该门不能打开,除非将机器整个地从配送台的下面抽出来。因为同样原因,在对切割组件进行例行的维修(即磨快其刀片)和/或检测电气配电板时便要求或移动机器,或在配送台的下面操作,以便触及到有关的部件。
因此本申请人开发出本发明的配送台。利用这种配送台,衬垫料变形机可滑动地安装在工作台的下面,它可在操作位置、装料位置和维修位置之间滑动。在操作位置,机器的最后出口(即切后约束组件的出射开口)与工作台上的开口对齐。因此在操作机器期间,衬垫料产品被存放在工作台上。在装载位置(或上游位置),机器的上游部分向外突出于配送台,由此可以接近坯料供料组件进行装料。另外,如果采用本发明的盖子,则当机器处于装载位置穿引衬垫坯料时,成形组件便暴露出来。在维修位置(下游位置)时,机器的下游部分突出于配送台,由此可以接近切割组件和/或电气配电板,进行常规维修。
具体地讲,本发明以组合装置方式提供一种配送台和一个可滑动地装在该配送台中的衬垫料变形机。该配送台包括基本上水平的工作台。衬垫料变形机包括机架和若干变形组件,组件装在机架上,并使衬垫坯料变形为衬垫产品。衬垫料变形机可滑动到操作位置,由此在机器操作期间,可使衬垫产品存放在工作台上。
因此本发明以组合装置方式提供一种配送台和衬垫料变形机;配送台包括基本水平的工作台;衬垫料变形机包括具有上游端部和下游端部的机架;衬垫料变形机还包括变形组件,变形组件装在机架上,将衬垫坯料变形为衬垫产品;衬垫料变形机配置为使得在操作机器期间衬垫产品被存放在工作台上。
在本发明的衬垫料变形机和配送台的组合装置中,可以结合有以下特征:
衬垫料变形机可滑动地安装在配送台工作台面的下面;
衬垫料变形机基本上水平取向,因此从上游端部到下游端部的轴线基本上是水平的;
机器包括最后出口、衬垫产品通过该出口送出;工作台面包括一个孔,当机器处于操作位置时,该孔与最后出口对齐。
机器最好可滑动到上游位置,在该位置其上游部分向外突出于配送台。采用优选的衬垫料变形机,坯料供料组件可以定位在配送台的外部,因而可以进行装载操作。另外,如果使用本发明的顶盖(即包括侧向延伸铰链的盖子),则可使成形组件露出来,以穿引衬垫坯料。
另外或者替代地,机器最好可滑动到下游位置,在该位置其下游部分向外突出于该配送台。如果采用优选的衬垫料变形机,则切割组件和/或电气配电板可向外突出于该配送装置。这样便可方便地保养这些部件。
本发明的这些和其它特征将被充分说明并具体地在权利要求书中指明。以下的说明性的附图详细地示出一个确定的例示性的实施例,该实施例仅示出应用本发明原理的不同形式中的一种形式。

首先详细参考图1~3,图中示出按照本发明的一配送台/机器组合装置。该装置包括配送台10和可滑动地装在该配送台10中的衬垫料变形机12。在图1中,机器12处于操作位置,图2中机器处于上游位置,图3中机器处于下游位置,如下面更详细说明的那样,滑动安装机器12可以方便地装入衬垫坯料、容易穿引衬垫坯料和/或方便地维修机器12的某些部件。
配送台10包括水平的工作台14和支承工作台14的支承部件16。工作台14最好用质密木质胶合板制作,并包括开口18,衬垫产品或衬垫P通过该开口排出(当机器滑动到操作位置并正在操作时),见图1。这样,包装工人便可方便地将衬垫P放入装运箱,以便填满空隙和/或在运输期间衬垫所运物品。
支承件16可以具有各种形式,只要在工作台的紧下面构成适当的空腔,以安装和可选择地滑动机器12。在此优选和图示的实施例中,支承件16由四个定位工作台14的垂直的腿组成,该工作台取方便工人进行包装工作的高度。该高度在2和5英尺之间比较好,最好是约为3英尺。
配送台10还包括用于滑动安装机器的滑动组件19。详细示于图4和5的滑动组件19包括一对平行的轨道20和一对滑动装置22。在此优选和图示的实施例中,轨道20是钢管件,它在前/后腿16之间水平延伸并固定在该腿上。轨道20之一包括锁定元件24,该锁定元件24与滑动装置22之一的锁定元件配合可将机器12锁定在需要的位置。在该图示和优选的实施例中,锁定元件24由在前部管形轨道20外侧上的间隔开的三个孔组成(见图1~3)。中间孔对应于操作位置、上游孔对应于上游位置,下游孔对应于下游位置。
滑动装置22分别包括连接板26、一对滚子安装件28和滚子30。连接板26用铝制作,大体为矩形(见图4)。滚子安装件28也用铝制作,分别具有大体为L形的横截面几何形状(见图5)。至于滚子30,它们分别用钢制作,直径约1英寸,厚度约5/8英寸。
对每个滑动装置22,连接板26的上边缘通过平头螺钉连接在机器12上,连接板26的底边缘通过平头螺钉连接在滚子安装件28上。滚子安装件28的连接是使得它们以彼此方式对称配置。滚子30通过有肩螺栓可转动地连接在滚子安装件28水平壁的远端部上并配置为使得它们的圆周面滑动地接合管形轨道20的顶面和底面,(见图5)。
滑动装置22之一还包括锁定件31,该锁定件与轨道锁定件24配合将机器12锁定在选定位置。在优选和图示的实施例中,锁定件31包括L形丁字支架32和弹簧插塞34。丁字支架32的水平腿通过平头螺钉固定在下部滚子安装件28的底面上,而丁字支架32的垂直腿则靠近管形轨道20的外壁配置。弹簧插塞34装在支架32的垂直腿上,使它可以有选择地插入并可退出轨道锁定件或开孔24中(见图5)。
现在回到图1~3,图中衬垫料变形机装有片状衬垫材料S的料卷。该衬垫材料由卷在空心圆筒T上的三层重叠的卷材组成,该卷材为可生物降解的、可回收的和可再生的纸。机器12将衬垫材料变形为连续的分离条带,该条带具有由薄的中心条分开的侧向枕形部分。该条带沿其中心条被压纹以形成压纹条,该压纹条被切割成要求长度的区段或衬垫P。
衬垫料变形机12包括机架36和装在该机架36上的变形组件。机架36包括底板37、一对侧向侧板38、上游端板39、下游端板40、顶盖41和后门42。因为机器12以基本上水平方式配置,所以从上游端部到下游端部的想象的纵向线或轴线基本上是水平的。
底板37和侧板38基本上是实心的矩形板。端板39和40也是矩形的,但它们不是实心的,而是上游端板39包括一个大的入口开孔,该开孔基本上使得板39类似于一个周边,而不象一块板。下游端板40包括一个相当小的出口开孔。
顶盖41包括一个侧向延伸的铰链43,而且该铰链43的取向(即侧向延伸而不是纵向延伸)导致顶盖41在机器12位于上游位置时可以打开,(见图2)。后门42可在关闭位置和打开位置之间转动,在关闭位置时下游端板40被盖住,在打开位置时下游端板40露出,(见图3)。
机器的变形组件包括坯料供料组件50、成形组件52、齿轮组件54、切割组件56和切后约束组件58。这些变形组件中的一些组件,即齿轮组件54和切割组件56是电控的,而且机器12包括电气配电板60。
在操作机器12时,衬垫坯料送料组件50将坯料输送到成形组件52。成形组件52使片状衬垫材料侧边向内滚压,形成连续条带的侧向枕形部分。齿轮组件54牵引衬垫坯料通过机器,而且还压出连续条带的中心条,形成压纹的条带。切割组件56将压纹的条带切割成区段或衬垫P。这些切割好的区段然后通过切后约束部件58。
在优选的机器12中,坯料供料组件50装在机器端板39的上游侧,因此构成机器12的上游部分的一部分。成形组件52装在底板37上,齿轮组件54装在机架端板40的上游侧。当顶盖41打开时便可接近成形组件52。
切割组件56以及电气配电板60装在第二端板40下游侧上,因此是机器12下游部分的一部分。当后门42处于关闭位置时,这些部件被盖住,当后门处于打开状态时则这些部件露出。
切后约束组件58从门42向外延伸,它的总的几何形状近似弯曲为大约90°角的弧形。切后约束组件58在出射开孔62是机器12的最后出口,因为在操作机器期间衬垫产品P通过该出口送出。
当机器12配置在操作位置时,其最后出口62与配送台的开口18对齐,由此衬垫P将存放在工作台14上,见图1。可以看到,只要与操作位置联用,滑动地安装机器12是有利的,因为它使机器的最后出口62与配送台出口18容易对齐。另外,配送台10还可变型,使其包括许多配送孔,因此机器12的滑动装置将使包装工人可以选择合适的配送孔。
当机器12滑到上游位置时,机器的上游部分便向外突出于配送台10,见图2。因此,在优选实施例中,坯料选料组件50向外突出于配送台10,因而可将衬垫坯料方便地装在该组件上。另外,因为当机器12滑到上游位置时可以打开顶盖41,从而可接近成形组件52,便于牵引衬垫坯料穿过该组件,见图2。
当机器12滑到下游位置时,机器的下游部分将向外突出于配送台10。在此下游位置可以打开后门42,由此可以容易地接近切割组件56和/或电气配电板60,从而可进行测试和/或维修。
现在可以看到,本发明的配送台/机器组合装置创造了方便装载衬垫坯料、易于穿引衬垫坯料和/或便于维修机器某些部件的条件。

Claims (11)

1.一种衬垫料变形机和配送台的组合装置,它包括:
一个配送台(10),它包括基本上水平的工作台(14);
一个衬垫料变形机(12),它包括变形组件(50、52、54、56、58),这些变形组件将片状衬垫坯料变形为衬垫产品;
上述衬垫料变形机(12)包括具有上游端部和下游端部的机架(36),上述变形组件装在上述机架上;
上述衬垫料变形机(12)装在配送台(10)上,位于其台面下面,使得在操作上述机器期间,衬垫产品被存放在上述工作台(14)上。
2.如权利要求1所述的组合装置,其特征在于:
所述衬垫料变形机(12)可滑动地装在配送台(10)上,位于工作台面(14)的下面;
所述衬垫料变形机(12)基本上水平取向,因此从上游端部(39)到下游端部(40)的轴线基本上是水平的;
所述衬垫料变形机(12)包括最后出口(62),衬垫产品通过该出口送出,其中工作台(14)包括孔(18),当机器位于操作位置时,该孔(18)与最后出口对齐。
3.如权利要求2所述的组合装置,其特征在于:所述衬垫料变形机(12)可滑动到上游位置,在该位置衬垫料变形机的上游部分向外突出于配送台(10)。
4.如权利要求3所述的组合装置,其特征在于:变形组件包括坯料供料组件(50),该组件位于机器的上游部分,因此当衬垫料变形机(12)滑动到上游位置时,该组件向外突出于配送台(10)。
5.如权利要求4所述的组合装置,其特征在于:衬垫料变形机(12)可滑动到下游位置,在该位置衬垫料变形机(12)的下游部分向外突出于配送台(10)。
6.如权利要求5所述的组合装置,其特征在于:变形组件包括切割组件(56),该组件位于机器的下游部分,因此当衬垫料变形机(12)滑动到下游位置时,该组件向外突出于配送台。
7.如权利要求6所述的组合装置,其特征在于:衬垫料变形机(12)包括电气配电板(60),该板位于机器的下游,因此当机器滑动到下游位置时,该板向外突出于配送台。
8.如权利要求2所述的组合装置,其特征在于:衬垫料变形机(12)可滑动到上游位置,在该位置衬垫料变形机的上游部分向外突出于配送台(10),其中,机器的机架(36)包括顶盖(41),当机器(12)滑动到上游位置时,该顶盖可以打开。
9.如权利要求8所述的组合装置,其特征在于:顶盖(41)包括侧向延伸的铰链(43)。
10.如权利要求2所述的组合装置,其特征在于:
衬垫料变形机(12)可滑动到下游位置,在该位置衬垫料变形机的下游部分向外突出于配送台(10);
变形组件包括切割组件(56);
机架(36)包括可在关闭状态和打开状态之间转动的后门(42),在关闭状态时切割组件(56)被盖住,在打开状态时切割组件(56)露出。
11.如权利要求10所述的组合装置,其特征在于:衬垫料变形机(12)还包括至少电控一些变形组件(50、52、54、56、58)的电气配电板(60);当后门(42)位于关闭状态时,电气配电板(60)被盖住,当后门位于打开状态时,电气配电板(60)露出。
