Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of head-mounted displays, in particular to a head-mounted display with a heat dissipation system.
Background
The head-mounted display guides video image light emitted by a miniature image display (such as a transmission type or reflection type liquid crystal display screen, an organic electroluminescent device and a DMD device) to the pupil of a user through an optical technology, realizes virtual and enlarged images in the near-eye range of the user, and provides visual and visible image, video and text information for the user.
In the existing head-mounted display, a PCB board with a display driving circuit and a power supply circuit is arranged, and a large amount of heat is generated when the head-mounted display works, so that a direct heat source is formed. Meanwhile, in the wearing process of the head-mounted display, the part attached to the face is in seamless attachment with the face of the wearer, so that a relative airtight space is formed between the head-mounted display and the eyes of the wearer, and heat normally emitted by a human body cannot be discharged, and therefore indirect heat sources are accumulated in the airtight space. The heat generated by the two heat sources directly causes discomfort after the eyes wear the video for too long.
Therefore, a reasonable heat dissipation system structure is needed to enable the heat to be discharged as soon as possible, and the comfort level of the head-mounted display is improved.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention more apparent, the following description will be made in detail with reference to the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by a person skilled in the art without any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, based on the embodiments of the present invention.
The structure of the head-mounted display with the heat dissipation system according to the preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, and the head-mounted display comprises a housing 10, wherein a PCB 30 and a display module are arranged in the housing 10, and the display module comprises a display screen 50 and an optical component; the housing 10 includes an inner side 11 adjacent to and forming an opposing closed space with the wearer's eyes, and an outer side 12 opposing the inner side 11; a heat dissipation system is also arranged in the shell 10; the heat dissipation system at least comprises an air inlet and an air outlet arranged on the shell 10 and a fan 40 arranged in the shell 10. According to the embodiment, the heat dissipation system is arranged in the head-mounted display shell 10, when the circuit on the PCB 30 works, the fan is driven to work together, so that air in the shell 10 and air outside the shell 10 form air circulation, cold air outside the shell 10 is sucked into the shell 10 from the air inlet and then is discharged from the air outlet 23, heat in the shell 10 is taken away, and the purpose of reducing the working temperature of the head-mounted display is achieved.
In further embodiments, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the air intake of the head mounted display includes a first set of air intake openings 21 disposed on the inner side 11 and/or includes a second set of air intake openings 22 disposed on the outer side 12. That is, the intake vent may be any one of the first and second sets of intake vents 21, 22 described above, or preferably both.
When only the first set of air inlets 21 provided on the inner side 11 is included, eye temperature adjustment is more noticeable to the wearer of the head mounted display, but since the inner side 11 is generally smaller in area relative to the outer side, a larger opening cannot be provided, and thus temperature adjustment efficiency is affected.
When only the second set of air inlets 22 provided on the outer side 12 is included, the eye temperature adjustment for the wearer of the head mounted display is relatively weak, but since the outer side 12 has a large area, a large opening can be provided as an air inlet, and thus the internal temperature adjustment for the head mounted display is relatively obvious.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the first set of air inlets 21 and the second set of air inlets 22 are simultaneously provided, so that the overall temperature adjustment efficiency and the eye temperature adjustment efficiency of the head-mounted display can be simultaneously satisfied.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the first group of air inlets 21 includes two pairs of openings symmetrically disposed on the inner side 11 at two sides of the binocular position 60. The two pairs of openings can be round openings or strip-shaped openings, and the positions and the shapes of the openings can be reasonably set according to the appearance of the head-mounted display.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the second air inlet 22 includes two pairs of openings symmetrically disposed on two sides of the binocular position on the outer side. Also, the two pairs of openings may be circular openings or elongated openings; preferably one or more elongated openings; the position and the shape of the opening can be reasonably set according to the requirements of the appearance, the dustproof setting and the like of the head-mounted display.
Preferably, in the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the ratio of the areas of the first group of air inlets 21, the second group of air inlets 22 and the air outlets 23 is: 3:2:1. That is, the area of the air inlet is larger than that of the air outlet, so that pressure difference is formed on the heat dissipation air duct, and heat dissipation efficiency is improved.
In a further embodiment, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the fan 40 of the head-mounted display is disposed close to the PCB, and the air outlet 23 is disposed on the housing 10 at a position corresponding to the air outlet surface of the fan 40. Preferably, the air outlet 23 is disposed on the outer side 12 of the housing 10 and located on a side of the outer side 12 facing downward when the head-mounted display is worn. The shape and specific position of the air outlet 23 can be determined according to the design of the head-mounted display, for example, a plurality of circular hole structures are adopted.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 3, the PCB 30 is disposed along a vertical direction with respect to a horizontal direction of a human eye's line of sight, the fan 40 is disposed parallel to the PCB, and the fan is disposed at a side of the PCB away from the human eye's direction.
Further, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the fan 40 is connected to the inside of the housing 10 through a mounting seat 41, and a baffle 414 for guiding the air flow direction of the air outlet surface of the fan 40 is provided on the mounting seat 41.
Specifically, the mounting base 41 includes a bottom surface 411 for fixing the fan 40 and a vertical surface 412 for supporting an air inlet surface of the fan 40; the vertical face 412 is provided with a circular opening 4121 which is matched with the air inlet face of the fan 40 in size; the bottom surface 411 is provided with an air outlet guide port 415 for facilitating the air flow of the fan 40 to be discharged; the baffle 414 is disposed at the air outlet guide port 415. That is, the mount 41 has both the function of mounting the fixing fan 40 and the air-out air flow guide, ensuring efficient air flow circulation in the head-mounted display housing 10.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 5, a sponge pad 413 is disposed on the mounting seat 41, for reducing noise caused by the operation of the fan 40, so as to achieve the purpose of silence, so as not to affect the use experience of the head-mounted display.
Preferably, the air inlet surface of the fan 40 is installed towards one side far away from the PCB 30, a gap is left between the fan 40 and the PCB 30, and the gap size can be determined according to the size of the internal space of the head-mounted display housing 10, for example, a gap of 1-3mm can be reserved; at the same time, a gap is reserved between the fan 40 and the inner surface of the shell 10, so that air in the shell 10 can enter the fan 40, and air circulation is realized.
It will be understood that modifications and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the foregoing description, and it is intended that all such modifications and variations be included within the scope of the following claims.
