Manufacturing an inner shell 6 and an outer shell 8 of the rotary kiln by adopting 304 or 316 steel plates, wherein the ratio of the radius R1 of the inner shell to the radius R2 of the outer shell is R1:R2=0.611:1; the length of the kiln body is chosen according to the actual requirements of the process, wherein the outer shell 8 is to be able to completely encase the inner shell 6 with a suitable margin, as shown in fig. 1.
A 304 or 316 steel plate with the thickness of 10mm is adopted to manufacture a clockwise rotating blade 11, the height h=2/3R 1 of the blade is selected according to the process requirement, and the pitch of the screw is for example R1. The counter-clockwise rotating blades 12 are welded onto the inner wall of the outer housing 8. Then the inner shell 6 is placed at the center of the anticlockwise rotating blade 12, and the two are welded together, so that the inner kiln body and the outer kiln body are combined into a whole.
A round cover body 2 is added at the feeding end, the upper part of the round cover body is provided with an air inlet 4, the lower part of the round cover body is provided with a discharge hole 3, and the feeding pipe 1 and the cover body 2 are welded into a whole. The cover body 2 and the rotary kiln are sealed by fish scales.
A sealing baffle plate is additionally arranged at the tail end of the kiln body, and an air outlet 13 is arranged at the center of the baffle plate.
The rotary kiln is additionally provided with supporting mechanisms such as riding wheels 5 and the like, and is welded with a large gear ring 10, and the supporting mechanisms, a transmission gear 7, a motor 9 and the like form a power mechanism.
In order to further enhance the heat preservation and heating effects, an insulation layer can be laid on the outer surface of the outer shell body 8, so that the heat preservation effect which is twice as high as that of a common rotary kiln can be achieved.
When in operation, the inner shell 6 and the outer shell 8 of the rotary kiln are driven by the motor 9 to rotate together. The material and heating medium enter the inner shell 6 from the feeding pipe 1, move forward under the action of the clockwise rotating blades 11 and gravity, naturally fall into the outer shell 8 after reaching the tail end, return to the feeding end under the action of the anticlockwise rotating blades 12 and gravity, and are discharged from the discharging port 3. Carrier gas medium enters the kiln body from the air inlet 4, and is discharged from the air outlet 13, so that gas generated by heating materials is taken away.
