Background
Sleeve type regulating valves have matured considerably over the years and are one of the mainstream regulating valve products on the market today. The sleeve type regulating valve has the main advantages that: the guiding is reliable and the stability is good; the inner part is connected without screw thread, so the maintenance is convenient; the requirements of a plurality of structures for adapting to different working conditions can be changed.
Sleeve valves generally have three configurations in which internal pressure acts: the valve cage is guided to the single-seat sleeve valve and the balanced single-seat sleeve valve; balanced type double-sealing surface sleeve valve. Their main differences are the number of seats, respectively: a single valve seat; adding a sliding seal for the single valve seat; a double valve seat.
In the valve cage guide single-seat sleeve valve, the sleeve only serves as a guide and a pressing valve seat, and can be regarded as an improved variety of a common single seat. It is used in small caliber and low pressure difference as single seat valve.
The balanced single-seat sleeve valve is used in common working condition and consists of one main valve seat seal and one sliding seal in the upper part. It has the same advantages as a single seat valve: the pressure balance valve has the characteristics of easy manufacture, convenient maintenance and pressure balance, and can be used for the conditions of large caliber and high pressure difference. However, the sliding seal at the upper part also brings great influence on the reliability of the valve, and the repeated movement and abrasion of the sliding seal ring cannot be avoided, so that the service life is limited. Meanwhile, the balance ring is sensitive to the cleanliness of the medium and is not suitable for the working condition containing solid particles.
The balanced double-sealing-surface sleeve valve has the advantages of simple and reliable structure, soft sealing in a common structure and better performance of the whole machine. However, if the double-channel hard seal is made to cope with complex severe working conditions including large caliber, high temperature, high pressure and high pressure difference, the processing and manufacturing requirements are quite high. The reason is that the double sealing surfaces of the valve core and the valve seat are in rigid states, and the complete fitting difficulty is high. The sealing is difficult, and the leakage amount is a disadvantage inherent in the sealing.
