Abstract
The invention provides an application downloading method, which is applied to a core network and comprises the following steps: the core network receives a subscription request sent by a rich communication suite RCS terminal; the core network sends the message to the RCS terminal; after receiving a downloading request sent by the RCS terminal, the core network sends an application file to the RCS terminal in a file sending mode; wherein, the message carries an information list of the downloadable application files of the RCS terminal; the downloading request carries information of the application file requested to be downloaded. By the scheme, the RCS terminal can safely download the application file in a safe environment, the application file is not easy to be attacked or tampered maliciously, and the application downloading safety of a user is greatly improved.

The converged communication service network comprises a plurality of network elements, and the invention mainly relates to an RCS terminal and an IMS core network.
The RCS terminal is responsible for subscribing to information of downloadable application files, obtaining information of updated application files, and requesting downloading of applications. And after analyzing the received application information, the terminal presents the application information to the user through the UI. The user can browse the information of the downloadable application files through the UI and can select the application files to download. It should be noted that the technical solution of the present invention is applicable to not only the RCS terminal but also the IMS terminal,
the IMS core network is responsible for the functions of registration, authentication, session control, signaling routing and the like of the RCS terminal; the related message functions of the RCS are mainly the message session control functions of one-to-one message and large message mode; and a service responsible for storing the application files and providing the terminal with application file download. The IMS core network provides various message services such as point-to-point messaging, group chat messaging, etc., and also provides a capability discovery function.
The application downloading device mainly provides UI interaction with a user in the application management process, and is responsible for subscribing an information list of the application files, acquiring updated application file information and finishing downloading the application files. In addition, the device for downloading the application is also responsible for the access function of the PS domain, provides various message functions of the RCS and realizes the SIP protocol and the MSRP protocol, wherein the SIP protocol is the basic protocol for realizing the RCS, and the MSRP protocol is used for receiving the application file.

When the information of the application file is updated, the IMS core network also sends a NOTIFY message to inform the terminal.
And the RCS terminal analyzes the message body after receiving the NOTIFY message, displays the analyzed information of the downloadable application file in an interactive interface and presents the information to the user. The user may select an application download while browsing application file information.
If the user selects a certain application file to download, the RCS terminal firstly sends a MESSAGE to the IMS core network, and the MESSAGE can adopt a fixed format to write information with the specific application file and inform the IMS core network that the terminal needs to download the application.
After receiving the MESSAGE, the IMS core network returns a 200OK response, and then downloads the application file by sending the file, that is, sending a MESSAGE in a large MESSAGE mode, between the IMS core network and the RCS terminal. Specifically, the MSRP mode may be adopted for file transmission, at this time, the IMS core network initiates an INVITE request for MSRP capability negotiation to the RCS terminal, the RCS terminal returns 200OK if agreeing to receive the file, after the MSRP capability negotiation is completed, an MSRP link is established, and then the application file is finally transmitted to the RCS terminal through the MSRP.
When the RCS user accesses the converged communication domain, the RCS user establishes a secure link with the access control function through IPSec, and the safety of signaling and bearing is ensured. In the invention, the existing file transfer function of RCS is reused, the existing signaling is simply modified, the greatest modification is to add application storage and downloading function on the network side, and strict check and control are needed to be carried out on the application source, which is essential for providing application downloading service. The changes can ensure that the RCS user can safely download the application under an established safe environment, the application file is not easy to be attacked and tampered maliciously, and the safety of the application downloaded by the user is greatly improved.
