Description

Virtual subscriber identity module card migration method, terminal, server and system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a virtual Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) technology, and in particular, to a method, a terminal, a server, and a system for migrating a virtual SIM card.
Background
The virtual SIM card is an application technology which directly stores file parameters in the traditional SIM card in an encrypted manner in the terminal and is completely based on software. Compared with the traditional SIM card, the SIM card has low cost and is not limited by physical and electrical characteristics such as size, working temperature and the like, thereby having wide application prospect.
Products based on virtual SIM technology are now being introduced, such as glocalame's jekataka and apple's AppleSIM, etc., whose virtual SIM parameters are automatically modified remotely or written by the user himself. The existing virtual SIM parameter modification technology may bring inconvenience to the user in some scenarios, for example, the user newly purchases a mobile terminal, wants to migrate the virtual SIM card parameters of the old mobile terminal to the new mobile terminal, and needs the virtual SIM card service provider to modify the preconfigured parameters on the virtual SIM card server if the migration is to be performed in a remote modification manner, which not only affects the user experience, but also increases the operation cost of the service provider. If the method is implemented by a user writing the card by himself, since the user is required to know the parameters of the old virtual SIM card and to write the parameters manually, errors are easy to occur and the parameters of the virtual SIM card may be leaked.

The main card is a physical card which can be inserted into the terminal, and the main card stores the information of the digital mobile phone client, the encrypted key and the contents of the user's telephone directory on the computer chip for the communication network. The mobile network refers to GSM, WCDMA, etc. type network communication networks.
Step 602: and the terminal sends a virtual SIM card immigration request to the virtual SIM card server.
Step 603: and the virtual SIM card server performs identity authentication on the main card used by the terminal.
Step 604: and judging whether the identity authentication is passed, if so, executing the step 606. If not, go to step 605.
Step 605: and the virtual SIM card server returns authentication failure to the terminal.

Step 607: and the terminal receives and stores the virtual SIM card parameters.
In step 602, the virtual SIM card relocation request message carries an identity identifier of the terminal, where the identifier has uniqueness, such as a hardware ID or an IMEI of the terminal, and in step 606, the virtual SIM card server identifies the terminal and allocates a virtual SIM card to the terminal according to the identifier.
The identity authentication in step 603 may be performed by using EAP-SIM or EAP-AKA.
Step 602, the virtual SIM card migration request message carries a virtual SIM card identifier to be migrated, where the identifier is used to uniquely identify a virtual SIM card associated with the main card, and may be, for example, an IMSI or a phone number of the virtual SIM card, and step 606, the virtual SIM card server preferentially allocates the virtual SIM card to the terminal, and if the virtual SIM card is already allocated to another terminal, allocates another idle virtual SIM card associated with the main card to the terminal.

TABLE 1
The method for immigrating and immigrating the virtual SIM cards provided by the embodiment of the invention can realize the allocation or release of one or more virtual SIM cards for the terminal of the user. Because the identity authentication based on the main card is adopted, the terminal and the server do not need to be preconfigured with any identity credentials, the user only needs to apply for one main card and one or more virtual SIM cards from the virtual SIM card service provider, and the virtual SIM card service provider can associate the main card of the user and the virtual SIM cards under the name of the main card with each other on the server. When a user needs to migrate a virtual SIM card to a certain terminal, the terminal starts a virtual SIM card migration operation process to interact with a virtual SIM card server to download the virtual SIM card from the server and write the virtual SIM card into the terminal only by inserting a main card into the terminal and appointing a virtual SIM card identifier to be migrated; when a user needs to migrate a virtual SIM card out of a certain terminal, the terminal starts a virtual SIM card migration operation flow to interact with a virtual SIM card server to delete the virtual SIM card from the terminal and recycle the virtual SIM card to the virtual SIM card server only by inserting a main card into the terminal and appointing a virtual SIM card identifier to be migrated.
The embodiment of the present invention is used to explain how to interactively complete the migration-in or migration-out operation of the virtual SIM card between the terminal and the virtual SIM card server, please refer to fig. 8. step 801: and the terminal sends a virtual SIM card migration request to the virtual SIM card server.
Step 802: in order to prevent illegal users from embezzlement of the virtual SIM card, the virtual SIM card server initiates identity authentication information.
Step 803: and the terminal sends an authentication response message to the virtual server.
Step 804: and the virtual server verifies the authentication response, and if the authentication response passes the authentication response, the virtual server performs virtual SIM migration processing and returns a migration response message.
The interaction flow provided by the embodiment of the present invention only has 4 basic messages, and the actual product can be expanded on the basis of the 4 messages, for example, for authentication process such as using EAP-AKA or EAP-SIM to authenticate.
The migration method of the virtual SIM card according to the embodiment of the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to specific application scenarios.
Application scenario 1: the user has an old mobile phone, and a new mobile phone is bought at present, but the user still wants to use the virtual SIM card number on the old mobile phone, so the main card can be inserted into the old mobile phone first, the virtual SIM card on the old mobile phone is migrated out and recycled to the virtual SIM card server, then the main card is inserted into the new mobile phone, and the virtual SIM card is downloaded from the virtual SIM card server and written into the new mobile phone.
Application scenario 2: if a user's normal mobile phone is damaged and cannot start up, but the user still wants to use the virtual SIM card number on the old mobile phone, the user can use the forced migration in the scheme of the present invention to directly download and write the virtual SIM card from the virtual SIM card server to another mobile phone.
