Abstract

本发明提出了一种快速发送点切换方法,包括:服务基站检测当前正在使用的发送点是否需要关闭;在所述服务基站检测到所述当前正在使用的发送点需要关闭时,将目标发送点指示指令发送至终端,以告知所述终端即将需要监听的新的目标发送点的信息和/或告知所述终端所述当前正在使用的发送点即将关闭。相应地,本发明还提供了一种快速发送点切换装置。通过本发明的技术方案,可以减少由于发送点关闭而引起的通信中断的时间,从而提高用户的使用体验,提高整个系统的资源利用率和系统吞吐量。
