本发明公开了一种发送和接收滤波器组多载波信号的方法及装置，该方法包括：根据待发送数据生成目标FBMC信号，该目标FBMC信号包括拖尾信号；根据拖尾信号，生成拖尾抵消信号；根据拖尾抵消信号，对目标FBMC信号进行拖尾抵消，得到抵消拖尾后的目标FBMC信号；对抵消拖尾后的目标FBMC信号进行截断操作，得到截断后的目标FBMC信号；发送截断后的目标FBMC信号。本发明实施例的发送FBMC信号的方法，通过生成拖尾抵消信号，并根据拖尾抵消信号对目标FBMC信号进行拖尾抵消，再对抵消拖尾后的目标FBMC信号进行截断操作，得到截断后的目标FBMC信号，可以消除信号中的拖尾信号，并且不引起信号性能的恶化。
