Abstract

The invention provides an antenna based on a terminal with a metal cover body, which comprises a first antenna unit and a second antenna unit, wherein the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit are respectively arranged at two sides of the inside of the metal cover body; the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit respectively comprise a first fixed part and a first extension part which are connected with each other, and a second fixed part and a second extension part which are connected with each other; the first fixing part and the second fixing part are fixed at one end part of the terminal; the first extending part and the second extending part extend along the side edge of the terminal, wherein the first antenna unit covers a first frequency band, the second antenna unit covers a second frequency band, and the first frequency band and the second frequency band can be overlapped to cover a full frequency band. The invention also provides an intelligent terminal and a manufacturing method thereof. After the technical scheme is adopted, the intelligent terminal can adopt the all-metal rear cover without influencing signal receiving of the intelligent terminal.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of intelligent equipment, in particular to an antenna based on a terminal with a metal cover body, an intelligent terminal and a manufacturing method thereof.
Background
With the rapid development of intelligent devices, intelligent terminal devices have moved into thousands of households, and the requirements of users on the appearance of the intelligent terminals are increasing. For the rear cover of the intelligent terminal, three configurations are mainly adopted at present:
1. the rear cover is made of plastic or glass material by adopting a metal frame, and the scheme utilizes the upper and lower metal frames as radiators. But the plastic or glass back cover design is visually unacceptable to the user;
2. the scheme uses an upper section and a lower section of metal sheets as radiators. But the back cover is not integral and has no visual continuity;
3. the metal frame and part of the metal rear cover are adopted, the upper end and the lower end of the rear cover are made of plastic, and the plastic is formed into metal vision through a process. However, the touch feeling of the touch is not comparable to that of metal for users.
The problem that the present technology cannot use the all-metal rear cover is that the metal material will affect the signal receiving of the intelligent terminal, so that a non-metal material must be designed at the antenna position of the intelligent terminal, and thus the three configurations are commonly used.
Therefore, in order to simultaneously meet the dual requirements of the user on vision and touch, the antenna layout scheme provided by the invention can solve the problems, and the signal receiving of the intelligent terminal is not influenced on the basis of adopting the all-metal rear cover.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to overcome the technical defects, the invention aims to provide an antenna based on a terminal with a metal cover body, an intelligent terminal and a manufacturing method thereof, so that the integrity of a rear cover is ensured to the greatest extent, and meanwhile, the communication effect of the intelligent terminal is ensured.
The invention discloses an antenna based on a terminal with a metal cover body, which comprises a first antenna unit and a second antenna unit, wherein the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit are respectively arranged at two sides of the inside of the metal cover body; the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit respectively comprise a first fixed part and a first extension part which are connected with each other, and a second fixed part and a second extension part which are connected with each other; the first fixing part and the second fixing part are fixed at one end part of the terminal; the first extending part and the second extending part extend along the side edge of the terminal, wherein the first antenna unit covers a first frequency band, the second antenna unit covers a second frequency band, and the first frequency band and the second frequency band can be overlapped to cover a full frequency band.
Preferably, the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion are wound along the end portion of the terminal to form a ring shape, and the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion in the ring shape have a certain distance along the radial direction of the terminal to form a reserved space.
Preferably, part of the annular first fixing part and part of the annular second fixing part are arranged on the end part of the terminal along the axial direction of the terminal, and the other part of the annular first fixing part and part of the annular second fixing part are arranged on a screen facing the metal cover body in the terminal.
Preferably, the length of the first extension and the second extension is greater than 15mm.
Preferably, the first frequency band includes a low frequency and all and/or part of an intermediate frequency; the second frequency band includes high frequencies and all and/or part of intermediate frequencies.
The invention also provides an intelligent terminal which comprises the metal cover body, the side edges and the antenna.
Preferably, the intelligent terminal further comprises a control unit, and the first antenna unit is electrically connected with the second antenna unit; and the control unit switches the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit according to the signals received by the intelligent terminal.
Preferably, the intelligent terminal further comprises a communication unit connected with the control unit and used for sending current signal frequency band information to the control unit; the control unit is a single-pole double-throw switch, and switches a channel connected with the first antenna unit or the second antenna unit according to the current signal frequency band information.
Preferably, the side is a plastic piece, and the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit are attached to the side through an FPC or LDS technology.

3. the structure of the original intelligent terminal can be used, and the antenna layout does not influence the use of an interface at the bottom of the intelligent terminal.

Advantages of the invention are further illustrated in the following description, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and detailed description.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic structure of a smart terminal with an antenna according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown. In this embodiment, the antenna is disposed within a terminal having an all-metal cover. Specifically, the antenna is formed in a sectional manner, and is divided into a first antenna unit 10 and a second antenna unit 20, and is respectively positioned at both sides of the inside of the metal cover body and the inside of the side edge of the terminal, preferably at both corners of the same end of the inside body of the terminal. The attaching position of the antenna is different from the conventional antenna setting position, and each antenna unit includes two parts, i.e. a fixing part and an extending part, for example, the first antenna unit 10 includes a first fixing part 11 and a first extending part 12, and the second antenna unit 20 includes a second fixing part 21 and a second extending part 22. The first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 are provided at the end of the inner body of the terminal, and may be formed through a conventional process such as FPC or LDS, thereby fixing the antenna in the terminal first. The first extension portion 12 and the second extension portion 22 extend from the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21, respectively, and the extending direction is still along the side of the terminal, and is also attached to the side, so as to increase the forming length of the antenna. With the above configuration, the antenna serving as the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 can have a communication function because the antenna is formed based on the same body as the antenna, in addition to the fixing portion serving as the antenna. Meanwhile, the setting positions of the first antenna unit 10 and the second antenna unit 20 are: if the position along the end and side of the terminal is set, the part where the metal material cannot be set is also the end and side of the terminal, and the rear cover part is not touched by the position, so the cover body of the terminal can be made of all-metal material.
In addition, the segmented arrangement of the antennas does not affect the reception of their signals. Specifically, the first antenna unit 10 covers a first frequency band, the second antenna unit 20 covers a second frequency band, and after the first frequency band and the second frequency band are overlapped, the full frequency band required by the terminal can be covered. If the signal received by the terminal is in the first frequency band, the first antenna unit 10 works as a communication medium, and if the signal received by the terminal is in the second frequency band, the signal is switched to the second antenna unit 20 to work as a communication medium, so that the signal receiving and transmitting effect of the terminal is not affected. It is to be understood that the first frequency band covered by the first antenna unit 10 and the second frequency band covered by the second antenna unit 20 may have a partial overlap, and the first antenna unit 10 and the second antenna unit 20 may be applicable in the overlapping frequency bands; or the first frequency band and the second frequency band are seamlessly matched, and the first frequency band and the second frequency band are added to form a full frequency band. For example, the first frequency band includes all low frequencies and all and/or part of intermediate frequencies; the second frequency band comprises all high frequencies and all and/or part of intermediate frequencies, and intermediate frequency parts included in the two frequency bands can be repeated or continuous according to requirements.
Preferably, the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 are provided in a ring shape in order to ensure that the structural arrangement of the antenna is not affected in the above-described embodiment, since the signal reception of the antenna is related to its own length. Specifically, the end of the terminal may be regarded as a cuboid, the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 are wound on the surface of the cuboid, the first fixing portion 11 is disposed on the left side of the end face of the cuboid, the second fixing portion 21 is disposed on the right side of the end face of the cuboid, and a certain distance is formed between the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 along the radial direction of the terminal, so as to form a reserved space. The first antenna unit 10 and the second antenna unit 20 are not in contact with each other and are symmetrically arranged. Because the size of the terminal is designed to be smaller and the available space inside is also smaller, the design utilizes the space only on the surface of the terminal, increases the setting length of the antenna and can ensure the performance of receiving and transmitting signals.
More preferably, when the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 are disposed, they partially adhere to the end of the terminal in the axial direction thereof, that is, the top surface of the rectangular parallelepiped, and the other portion is disposed on the screen (TP surface) facing the metal cover body in the terminal, that is, the back surface of the TP surface. The terminal body facing to a plurality of directions is provided with the antennas, so that the range of the terminal capable of receiving signals can be enlarged.
The first extension 12 and the second extension 22 extend from the first fixing portion 11 and the second fixing portion 21 to the side of the terminal end, respectively, by a length of more than 15mm, more preferably 15-20mm, and most preferably 15mm. It will be appreciated that the portion without the extension on the side may be provided as a metallic material, while the portion facing the extension is of a plastics material, further increasing the metal ratio of the terminal housing.
With the configuration, the part of the rear cover of the terminal facing the rear cover is not provided with the antenna, so that the terminal with the antenna can be provided with the all-metal rear cover, and the side edge is partially metal, so that the performance of the antenna is not affected.
Further, when the antenna is applied to the inside of the smart terminal, the rear cover of the smart terminal is entirely made of metal. In the intelligent terminal, a control unit 30, such as a chip, a processor, etc., is electrically connected to the ground terminals of the first antenna unit 10 and the second antenna unit 20, and the control unit 30 has the function of switching which antenna to use. Specifically, the control unit 30 determines, according to the current signal frequency band information sent by the communication unit included in the intelligent terminal: the current environment of the smart terminal uses what frequency band to communicate with, if a low frequency signal is used in the current environment of the smart terminal, the control unit 30 switches to connect with the first antenna unit 10, and vice versa. The control unit 30 includes a single pole double throw switch (SP 2T) for switching the channel connected to the first antenna unit 10 or the second antenna unit 20. Other means such as selective connection of two channels are applicable.
In manufacturing the intelligent terminal with the all-metal cover body, the following steps can be adopted:
step one: when the intelligent terminal is not covered by the cover body, a first antenna unit and a second antenna unit are arranged at two corners of the end part of the intelligent terminal, so that the antennas are arranged in a sectional structure;
step two: the fixed first antenna unit and the second antenna unit extend along the side edge of the intelligent terminal to form an extension part, and the extension part is attached to the side edge of the intelligent terminal or the TP surface facing the metal cover body;
step three: the all-metal cover body is covered on the intelligent terminal to finish installation.
And the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit need to be configured in the same way, and the first frequency band and the second frequency band of the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit can cover the full frequency band after being overlapped.
