Since the ultrasonic wave causes energy loss such as emission and absorption when propagating in the human tissue, the intensity of the ultrasonic wave radiated into the body decreases with increasing depth, and also the intensity of the ultrasonic echo signal decreases according to the distance traveled. To compensate for this attenuation, different gains are applied to the ultrasound echo signals acquired from different portions of the test object, such as Time Gain Compensation (TGC).

According to the invention, through the numerical value display mode, a user can know the specific condition of adjustment more clearly and intuitively.
