Abstract
The invention relates to the field of display, and discloses a multi-face display panel, a multi-face display device and a preparation method thereof, which are used for improving the visual effect of the multi-face display device. Wherein the multi-sided display panel includes: a flexible display panel body; the flexible display panel body is divided into a plurality of display areas, and the flexible display panel body is folded between the two connected display areas to form a display surface facing at least two directions, and the plurality of folded display areas enclose a closed space.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of display, in particular to a multi-face display panel and a preparation method thereof, and a multi-face display device and a preparation method thereof.
Background
With the advent of the information age, flat panel display devices have become necessary for various electronic products, and are widely used in products such as televisions, notebook computers, mobile phones, and home appliances for communication.
The flat panel display device is used as a communication interface between a user and an electronic product, and most of common display devices are single-sided display devices, which only have one display screen. However, in some applications, multiple-sided display may be required, for example, when a bank clerk negotiates with a customer, the data displayed on the display device can be viewed by the clerk and the customer through the double-sided display device, so that great convenience is provided for the user.
However, the multi-surface display device in the prior art is mostly formed by splicing independent display screens, and the overall display effect and visual effect are poor.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a multi-face display panel, a multi-face display device and a manufacturing method thereof, which are used for improving the visual effect of the multi-face display device.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:
a multi-sided display panel, comprising: a flexible display panel body; the flexible display panel body is divided into a plurality of display areas, the flexible display panel body is connected with each other two display areas, the display areas are folded to form display surfaces facing at least two directions, and the display areas surround a closed space after being folded.
According to the multi-face display panel provided by the invention, the flexible display panel body is adopted, so that the flexible display panel body can be folded between two connected display areas to form the display faces facing at least two directions, and the plurality of display areas surround a closed space, so that the multi-face display panel has a continuous display effect and can improve the continuity of display pictures of the multi-face display panel.
Therefore, the multi-face display panel provided by the invention has a better visual effect.
In some optional embodiments, the display surface of each of the display regions is a pentagon, a first side and a second side of the pentagon are parallel to each other, a third side is connected between the first side and the second side and is perpendicular to the first side and the second side, respectively, a fourth side and a fifth side are connected between the first side and the second side, and a joint of the fourth side and the fifth side has a set angle, and the set angle is greater than 0 degree and less than 180 degrees.
In some optional embodiments, the number of the display areas is 6, and the set angle is 60 degrees.
In some optional embodiments, the number of the display areas is 4, and the set angle is 90 degrees.
In some optional embodiments, the number of the display areas is 5, and the set angle is 72 degrees.
The invention also provides a multi-face display device comprising any one of the multi-face display panels. Has better visual display effect.
In some optional embodiments, when the flexible display panel body is a flexible liquid crystal display panel body, a flexible backlight module is disposed on a side of the flexible liquid crystal display panel body departing from the display surface of the flexible liquid crystal display panel body.
The invention also provides a method for manufacturing the multi-face display device, which comprises the following steps:
forming a set display pattern on a flexible substrate;
cutting the flexible substrate along the set display pattern to form the flexible display panel body;
the display area is folded between two connected display areas in the flexible display panel body to form display surfaces facing at least two directions, and a plurality of folded display areas form a closed space.
In some alternative embodiments, in step (ii): before cutting the flexible substrate along the set display pattern, the method further comprises:
and attaching a flexible backlight module to one surface of the set display pattern, which is deviated from the display surface of the flexible substrate.
In some alternative embodiments, in step (ii): before folding between two consecutive display regions in the flexible display panel body to form a display surface facing at least two directions, the flexible display panel further comprises:
and attaching a flexible backlight module to one surface of the set display pattern, which deviates from the display surface of the flexible display panel body.
In some optional embodiments, the folding between two display regions connected in the flexible display panel body to form a display surface facing at least two directions, and the folded display regions enclosing a closed space specifically includes:

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the present invention provides a multi-sided display panel including: a flexible display panel body 1; the flexible display panel body 1 is divided into a plurality of display areas 11, and the flexible display panel body 1 is folded between two connected display areas 11 to form a display surface facing at least two directions, and the plurality of folded display areas enclose a closed space.
According to the multi-face display panel provided by the invention, the flexible display panel body is adopted, so that the flexible display panel body can be folded between the two connected display areas 11 to form the display faces facing at least two directions, and the plurality of display areas surround a closed space, so that the multi-face display panel has a continuous display effect and can improve the continuity of the display pictures of the multi-face display panel.
Therefore, the multi-face display panel provided by the invention has a better visual effect.
The specific shape of each display region 11 may be various, as long as a closed three-dimensional figure can be formed after the display region is folded, and in an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the display surface of each display region 11 is pentagonal, and a first side 111 and a first side 112 of the pentagonal are parallel to each other, a third side 113 is connected between the first side 111 and the first side 112 and is perpendicular to the first side 111 and the first side 112, respectively, a fourth side 114 and a fifth side 115 are connected between the first side 111 and the first side 112, and a joint of the fourth side 114 and the fifth side 115 has a set angle, and the set angle a is greater than 0 degrees and less than 180 degrees.
In an alternative embodiment, the number of the display areas 11 is 6, and the set angle is 60 degrees. The multi-face display device of this structure can realize at least six-face display.
In another alternative embodiment, the number of the display regions 11 is 4, and the set angle is 90 degrees. The multi-sided display device of this structure can realize at least four-sided display.
In yet another alternative embodiment, the number of the display areas 11 is 5, and the set angle is 72 degrees. The multi-face display device of this structure can realize at least five-face display.
The invention also provides a multi-face display device comprising any of the multi-face display panels. Has better visual display effect.
The flexible display panel body can be self-luminous or non-self-luminous, and when the flexible display panel body is a flexible liquid crystal display panel body, a flexible backlight module is arranged on one side of the flexible liquid crystal display panel body, which deviates from the display surface of the flexible liquid crystal display panel body.
As shown in fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart of a method for manufacturing a multi-panel display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention further provides a method for manufacturing a multi-panel display device according to any one of the above methods, including:

Claims (11)
1. A multi-sided display panel, comprising: a flexible display panel body and a mold; the flexible display panel body is divided into a plurality of display areas, the flexible display panel body is folded between two connected display areas to form a display surface facing at least two directions, and the plurality of folded display areas form a closed space;
the shape of the mould is the same as that formed after the flexible display panel body is folded, and after the flexible display panel body is folded, the flexible display panel body is attached to the mould to form a closed space.
2. The multi-panel display panel of claim 1, wherein the display surface of each display region is a pentagon, and a first side and a second side of the pentagon are parallel to each other, a third side is connected between the first side and the second side and perpendicular to the first side and the second side, respectively, and a fourth side and a fifth side are connected between the first side and the second side and a junction of the fourth side and the fifth side has a set angle, and the set angle is greater than 0 degree and less than 180 degrees.
3. The multi-sided display panel of claim 2, wherein the number of the display regions is 6, and the set angle is 60 degrees.
4. The multi-sided display panel of claim 2, wherein the number of the display regions is 4, and the set angle is 90 degrees.
5. The multi-sided display panel of claim 2, wherein the number of the display regions is 5, and the set angle is 72 degrees.
6. A multi-panel display device comprising the multi-panel display panel according to any one of claims 1 to 5.
7. The multi-panel display device of claim 6, wherein when the flexible display panel body is a flexible liquid crystal display panel body, a flexible backlight module is disposed on a side of the flexible liquid crystal display panel body facing away from the display surface.
8. A method of manufacturing a multi-sided display device as claimed in claim 6 or 7, comprising:
forming a set display pattern on a flexible substrate;
cutting the flexible substrate along the set display pattern to form the flexible display panel body;
the display area is folded between two connected display areas in the flexible display panel body to form display surfaces facing at least two directions, and a plurality of folded display areas form a closed space.
9. The method for manufacturing the multi-panel display device according to claim 8, wherein the method comprises the steps of: before cutting the flexible substrate along the set display pattern, the method further comprises:
and attaching a flexible backlight module to one surface of the set display pattern, which is deviated from the display surface of the flexible substrate.
10. The method for manufacturing the multi-panel display device according to claim 8, wherein the method comprises the steps of: before folding between two consecutive display regions in the flexible display panel body to form a display surface facing at least two directions, the flexible display panel further comprises:
and attaching a flexible backlight module to one surface of the set display pattern, which deviates from the display surface of the flexible display panel body.

The method for manufacturing a multi-panel display device according to any one of claims 8 to 10, wherein the folding between two display regions connected to each other in the flexible display panel body to form a display surface facing at least two directions, and the plurality of folded display regions enclosing a closed space includes:
folding between two connected display areas in the flexible display panel body to form a display surface facing at least two directions;
providing a mould, wherein the shape of the mould is the same as the shape formed after the flexible display panel body is folded;
and attaching the folded flexible display panel body to the mold to form a closed space.
