Abstract

本发明提供一种实现系统下刷新PMC8068RAID卡FW的方法,属于FW更新升级领域,运行shell脚本,将刷新RAID卡FW文件和seeprom文件结合在一起,在刷新过程中,自动刷新FW文件和seeprom文件,如果遇到问题,则会自动停止刷新的过程,并给出刷新失败的信息,反之,给出刷新成功的信息;RAID卡的FW 会在重启后生效,并在post界面和系统下显示。大大简化了工作流程,降低了人力资源的消耗,提高了工作效率。

技术领域
本发明涉及FW更新升级技术,尤其涉及一种实现系统下刷新PMC8068RAID卡FW的方法。
背景技术
由于PMCRAID卡的FW更新换代的速度较快,几乎是1个月更新一次,而产品的更新换代与之相比则慢上不少。在进行FW更新升级上对测试产品的性能就显得尤为重要,老旧的测试方法需要在DOS环境下进行同时需要对节点进行断电进行硬件上的操作,极为麻烦。当对多个节点进行RAID卡FW的刷新,就会浪费大量的时间和人力。
发明内容
为了解决以上技术问题,本发明提出了一种实现系统下刷新PMC8068RAID卡FW的方法。本发明基于LINUX平台,系统下刷新FW 是将多个刷新工具混合在一起,逐一执行,增加刷新过程的可靠性,加快更新换代的速度。
本发明的技术方案是:
运行shell脚本,将刷新RAID卡FW文件和seeprom文件结合在一起,在刷新过程中,自动刷新FW文件和seeprom文件,如果遇到问题,则会自动停止刷新的过程,并给出刷新失败的信息,反之,给出刷新成功的信息。RAID卡的FW 会在重启后生效,并在post界面和系统下都可以看到
技术原理
整个过程主要是依靠shell脚本实现RAID卡FW 的刷新,刷新工具和文件以及shell放在同目录下,执行脚本后会自动进行刷新,避免人机交互过程,在刷新过程中如果出现问题,自动停止刷新,同时显示提示信息。
