Background
The image forming apparatus forms an image on a recording material using an electrophotographic image forming process. Examples of the image forming apparatus include an electrophotographic copying machine, an electrophotographic printer (e.g., a laser beam printer, an LED printer), a facsimile machine, a word processor, and the like. The process cartridge includes at least one of an electrophotographic photosensitive drum as an image bearing member and a process device (developer bearing member (developing roller)) capable of acting on the drum, the electrophotographic photosensitive drum and the process device being integrally configured as a cartridge detachably mountable to the image forming apparatus. The cartridge may include a drum and a developing roller in one body, or may include a drum, or may include a developing roller. The cartridge including the drum is a drum cartridge, and the cartridge including the developing roller is a developing cartridge.
As shown in fig. 1, chinese patent publication No. CN104541212 discloses a driving force transmission clutch structure connected to a developing roller, and when a developing cartridge 9 is rotated relative to a photosensitive drum 4 of a drum cartridge (not shown in the figure), a separation operating lever 73 receives a force originating in an image forming apparatus and relatively rotates with a separation cam 872 and causes the separation cam to move away from the separation operating lever 73 in its axial direction, and the separation cam 872 presses a downstream drive transmitting member 571 so that it is separated from an upstream drive transmitting member 474. This completes the driving clutch operation of the developing roller. The above-described drive clutch structural elements are complicated to assemble and increase the production cost of the product, and the upstream and downstream transmission members 474 and 571 disposed inside the release lever 73 and the release cam 872 become smaller in size and are easily broken during the drive force transmission.

a separation force receiving member for cooperating with a separation member in the image forming apparatus to receive a force from the separation member to move the developing cartridge relative to the drum cartridge to a separated state in which the developing cartridge is separated from the drum cartridge;
a driving force receiving assembly provided at a driving force receiving side of the developing cartridge, for receiving a driving force of the driving head and transmitting the same to the developing roller, and having a protruding portion directly engageable with the driving head;
the process cartridge further includes a retracting lever, the protruding portion being in contact with and engaged with the driving head when the developing cartridge is in a contact state with respect to the drum cartridge, the retracting lever being adapted to receive an external force and control the protruding portion to be disengaged from the driving head when the developing cartridge is in a separated state with respect to the drum cartridge. The driving force receiving assembly includes a driving force transmitting member and a driving force receiving member.

The driving force receiving assembly is provided with a first inclined surface, and the retracting operating rod is provided with a second inclined surface matched with the first inclined surface. The driving force receiving assembly is integrally provided or separately provided by a plurality of members.
After the technical scheme is adopted, the processing box realizes the separation of the driving force receiving component and the driving head in the imaging equipment by utilizing the action of the retraction operating rod and the driving force transmitting component, reduces the complexity of the driving structure of the developing roller, reduces the production cost of products, and greatly improves the strength of the driving force transmitting component in the driving force transmitting process and ensures that the transmission of the driving force is more stable because the driving force transmitting component and the driving force receiving component are fixedly combined.

As shown in fig. 3, the process cartridge of the present invention comprises: the developing cartridge 1, the developing roller 2, the bearing member 3, the idler gear 4, the developing roller gear 5, the spring 6, the driving force transmitting member 7, the retracting operation lever 8, the driving force receiving member 9, the edge cover 10, and the support hole 11. The direction in which the process cartridge drives the side cover member 10 with respect to the bearing member 3 is referred to as a right direction. The specific construction of the driving side of the process cartridge will be described with reference to the above-mentioned members, the developing roller 2 is disposed in the developing cartridge 1, the bearing member 3 disposed on the right side of the developing roller 2 has an idler wheel mounting hole 13 and a developing roller mounting hole 14, the developing roller 14 is mounted into the developing roller mounting hole 14 from the left side, the idler wheel 4 is mounted into the idler wheel mounting hole 13 from the right side, the developing gear 5 engaged with the idler wheel 4 is mounted into the portion of the bearing member 3 protruding from the developing roller 2 from the right side, the driving force transmitting member 7 and the retracting lever 8 and the driving force receiving member 9 are integrally mounted into the idler wheel 4 from the right side, the projecting portion 15 on the left side of the driving force transmitting member 7 is inserted into the idler wheel 4 and engaged with the idler wheel 4, the spring 6 is mounted between the driving force transmitting member 7 and the idler wheel 4 for controlling the expansion and contraction between, the edge cover 10 is provided at the rightmost end of the developing cartridge, and is provided with a support hole 11 for supporting the driving force receiving member 9.
As shown in fig. 4, a first inclined surface 16 is provided on the outer circumference of the driving force transmission member 7, a second inclined surface 17 cooperating with the first inclined surface 16 is provided on the retraction operation lever 8, and when the retraction operation lever 8 and the driving force transmission member 7 rotate relatively, the first inclined surface 16 and the second inclined surface 17 displace relatively, so that the retraction operation lever 8 and the driving force transmission member 7 move relatively along the axial direction. The driving force transmitting member 7 is further provided with a claw portion 16 projecting in the axial direction thereof, the driving force receiving member 9 is provided with a claw receiving portion 19, and when the driving force transmitting member 7 is attached to the driving force receiving member 9, the claw portion 16 is caught in the claw receiving portion 19 to restrict the relative movement of the driving force transmitting member 9 and the driving force transmitting member 7 in both axial directions.
The process cartridge has two states of contact and separation of the drum cartridge 23 and the developing cartridge 1, and the driving of the developing roller 2 in the two states is explained in detail below with reference to fig. 3 to 9.
The contact state of the drum cartridge 23 and the developing cartridge 1, as shown in fig. 3, 5 and 6, when the photosensitive drum 12 in the drum cartridge 23 is in the contact position with the developing roller 2, the driving force transmitting member 7, the retracting lever 8 and the driving force receiving member 9 are engaged as shown in fig. 4, at this time, the retracting lever 8 does not press the driving force transmitting member 7, the spring 6 pushes the driving force transmitting member 7 and forces the driving force receiving member 9 to protrude out of the support hole 11 in the edge cover 10 so that the driving force receiving member 9 protrudes out of the right side surface of the edge cover 10, when the image forming apparatus is operated, a driving head (not shown in the figure) from the image forming apparatus engages with a portion of the driving force receiving member 9 protruding out of the right side surface of the edge cover 10 and rotates the driving force receiving member 9, the driving force receiving member 9 transmits the received rotational force to the idle pulley 4 through the intermediate transmitting member 8, the idle pulley 4 further transmits the received rotational force to the developing, the driving rotation of the developing roller 2 is thus realized.
In the separated state of the drum cartridge 23 and the developing cartridge 1, as shown in fig. 7, 8 and 9, a recess 21 is provided on the side cover 10, a projection 20 which is engaged with the recess 21 is provided on the retracting lever 8, the developing roller 2 is separated from the photosensitive drum 12 when the developing cartridge 2 rotates about its rotational center, the retracting lever 8 has a tendency to rotate together with the developing cartridge 2, the projection 20 on the retracting lever 8 is blocked by the recess 21 on the side cover so that the retracting lever 8 cannot rotate together with the developing cartridge 2, the driving force transmitting member 7 rotates together with the developing cartridge 2, and thus, the second inclined surface 17 in the retracting lever 8 rotates relative to the first inclined surface 16 in the driving force transmitting member 7, so that the driving force transmitting member 7 retracts leftward against the elastic force of the spring 6, and the driving force transmitting member 7 pulls the driving force receiving member 9 leftward by the claw 18 connected to the driving force receiving member 9 and retracts the driving force receiving member 9 together with the driving force in the image forming apparatus The movable head is disengaged, and thus, the separation of the driving force receiving member 9 from the driving head in the image forming apparatus is completed, and even if the image forming apparatus driving head continues to rotate, the developing roller 2 provided in the developing cartridge 1 does not rotate. The above-described drive force receiving member 9 and drive force transmitting member 7 are referred to in combination as a drive force receiving assembly 22. The driving force receiving member 22 has a substantially circular ring-shaped structure, an inner circular portion including the claw portions 18 and the claw receiving portions 19 constitutes an inner core portion of the driving force receiving member 22, and an outer circular portion including the first inclined surface 16 is referred to as an outer peripheral portion of the driving force receiving member 22.
Of course, the recess 21 may not be provided in the edge cover 10, and the technical effects of the present embodiment may be achieved by providing it in another member of the process cartridge as long as the retracting lever 8 is prevented from rotating together with the developing cartridge 1.
While the driving force transmitting member 7, the retraction releasing member 8 and the driving force receiving member 9 are provided separately in the present embodiment for the convenience of assembly, it is of course possible to construct the driving force transmitting member 7 and the driving force receiving member 9 as an integral structure, which may be referred to as a driving force receiving member on the developing cartridge 2, and the retraction releasing member 8 only needs to push the driving force receiving member of the integral structure, which also enables the operation of releasing the driving force receiving member from the driving head in the image forming apparatus in the present embodiment.
In this embodiment, the retraction lever 8 is provided with a protrusion 20, and the side cover is provided with a recess 21, but one of the ways of limiting the relative movement is obviously more ways to achieve the same effect, for example, the retraction lever 8 is provided with a recess, the side cover is provided with a corresponding projection, or two ways of completely fixing by welding are adopted. In the present embodiment, the retracting lever 8 has an annular shape, and the protruding portion 20 thereof protrudes from the outer peripheral portion of the driving force receiving member 22, but it is desirable that it is made smaller, and the retracting lever 8 can be made smaller than the driving force receiving member 22, and specifically, the retracting lever 8 can fall completely within the projection range of the driving force receiving member 22 as viewed in the axial direction of the driving force receiving member.
Compared with the existing processing box, the processing box provided by the invention has the advantages that the driving force receiving component is separated from the driving head in the imaging device by utilizing the functions of the retraction operating rod and the driving force transmitting component, the complexity of the driving structure of the developing roller is reduced, the production cost of products is reduced, and meanwhile, the strength of the driving force transmitting component in the driving force transmitting process is greatly improved and the transmission of the driving force is more stable due to the fixed combination of the driving force transmitting component and the driving force receiving component.

a separation force receiving member 9 for cooperating with the separation member in the image forming apparatus to receive a force from the separation member to move the developing cartridge (1) relative to the drum cartridge (23) to a separated state in which the developing roller (2) is separated from the photosensitive drum (12);
a driving force receiving assembly (22) provided on a driving force receiving side of the developing cartridge (1) for receiving a driving force of the driving head and transmitting to the developing roller (2), including a driving force transmitting member (7) and a driving force receiving member (9), the driving force receiving member (9) having a protruding portion directly engageable with the driving head;

A process cartridge according to claim 4, wherein said process cartridge has two end faces, and said edge cover (10) is provided on one of said two end faces, and said retracting lever (8) overlaps at least a part of said driving force receiving member (22) as viewed from one end to the other end of said process cartridge.
