Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide an improved household appliance, in particular an improved household refrigerator, having a door leaf with a handle groove.
The object of the invention is achieved by a household appliance having: an inner chamber; an electronic control device having an electronic device, which is provided to control at least one function of the household appliance when the household appliance is in operation; a door leaf for opening and closing the interior chamber, the door leaf having an inner side facing the interior chamber and an outer side facing away from the interior chamber; and a handle slot disposed in the outer side of the door leaf, the handle slot including a handle that forms an undercut with respect to the outer side of the door leaf; and a lighting device having at least one lighting means, which is provided for illuminating the handle well, wherein at least a majority of the electronic device and the at least one lighting means form a common component which is arranged inside the door leaf beside the undercut, so that the at least one lighting means can direct its light out of the undercut into the handle well. The at least one illumination means is preferably designed as at least one LED.
Accordingly, the household appliance according to the invention comprises a control device which controls at least one function of the household appliance, in particular controls, if necessary also regulates, the operation of the household appliance. Furthermore, the household appliance according to the invention comprises a door leaf. The door leaf is preferably mounted so as to be pivotable relative to a vertically extending axis and comprises a handle slot in its outer side, by means of which the door leaf can be opened. The handle groove comprises a handle which forms an undercut with respect to the outer side of the door leaf. Thereby, a person can grasp into the undercut by hand to open the door leaf. The undercut can be formed, for example, by a recess in the side wall of the door leaf.
The household appliance according to the invention also has a lighting device which is provided for illuminating the handle slot. The lighting device comprises the at least one lighting device. The at least one lighting device is preferably embodied as one or more LEDs.
The electronic control device comprises an electronic device, i.e. that part of the control device which receives control commands of the electronic control device. At least a majority, if not the entire electronic device, is disposed within the door page. Electrical network components provided for supplying power to the electronic device can also be arranged in the door leaf. Preferably, however, the electrical network component is arranged in or on the body of the household appliance. The electronic device comprises, for example, a microprocessor or microcontroller, generally comprising electronic and electrical components.
According to the invention, the electronic device and the at least one lighting means form a common component which is in turn arranged in the door leaf next to the undercut, so that the at least one lighting means can radiate its light out of the undercut into the handle groove.
The domestic appliance according to the invention is preferably designed as a domestic refrigerator, the body of which is a thermally insulated body and has an inner container which delimits the interior. The interior of the domestic refrigerator is a coolable interior and is provided for storing food. The domestic refrigeration appliance comprises a refrigeration device for cooling the inner chamber. In this case, the electronic control device is provided for controlling the refrigerating device in such a way that the interior has at least approximately the nominal temperature. The control of the refrigeration device, which is preferably embodied as a temperature regulation, thus represents a control of at least one function of the domestic appliance, which is embodied as a domestic refrigeration appliance.
The domestic refrigeration device according to the invention can be, for example, a domestic refrigeration device. In this case, the coolable inner chamber is cooled to a temperature above 0 ℃. The domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention can also be a domestic refrigeration appliance. In this case, the coolable inner chamber is cooled to a temperature below 0 ℃. However, the domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention can also be a combination of refrigeration and freezing. The domestic refrigerator according to the invention can have exactly one coolable interior space, but also a plurality of coolable interior spaces, which can also be closed and opened by means of a door leaf.
The common assembly preferably comprises a single circuit board on which the electrical and electronic components of the at least one lighting device and the electronic device are fixed. Such an embodiment can be implemented relatively compactly.
According to a preferred embodiment of the domestic appliance according to the invention, a cavity is arranged next to the undercut of the handle groove, in which cavity the common component is fixed, wherein the undercut comprises a wall separating the cavity and the handle groove having at least one opening through which light of the at least one illumination means can shine to illuminate the handle groove. The cavity can be formed in particular by a housing inside the door leaf. The housing is preferably open in the direction of the outer side and is closed in this region by means of a covering device, as a result of which the assembly of the door leaf is simplified. The cover device preferably extends flush with the outside.
In the case of a domestic appliance according to the invention, which is designed as a domestic refrigerator, the cavity in which the assembly is fixed can be arranged next to the undercut of the handle well, wherein the undercut comprises a wall separating the cavity from the handle well, which wall has at least one opening through which light from the at least one illumination means can shine in order to illuminate the handle well. According to this variant, the outer side of the door leaf has, in particular, an outer skin which is attached to the insulating foam and which comprises a recess in which a recess is arranged which forms the cavity, the recess having a housing for the assembly which is open and is produced in one piece in the direction of the outer side and which is covered to the outside by means of a covering device. The cover device preferably extends flush with the outer skin. The open housing is preferably made of plastic. By using an open housing, it is relatively simple to manufacture the door leaf, since the door leaf with the open housing comprising the insulating foam can be manufactured first in a relatively simple manner, in order then to fix the common components inside the housing, to connect them to the electrical lines and then to close the housing with the cover device.
According to a variant of the household appliance according to the invention, the lighting device has a light guide body optically coupled to the at least one lighting means, which light guide body is optically coupled to the at least one opening. The opening is configured as a slit, for example. A relatively uniform illumination of the handle slot can be achieved on the basis of the light guide. The light guide may also be part of the common assembly.
Preferably, the light guide may close, preferably completely close, the at least one opening. Thus, the light guide preferably constitutes at least a part of the wall separating the cavity and the grip groove.
According to a further development of the household appliance according to the invention, the handle groove has a recess which is only partially covered by the handle forming the undercut. Hereby, by means of the recess, a person can grip into the undercut by hand in order to open the door leaf. Furthermore, since at least one lighting means can radiate its light out of the undercut into the handle well, the undercut is also illuminated at the same time. The recess is preferably selected such that it extends as far as the corresponding side wall of the door leaf.
According to a preferred variant of the household appliance, the door leaf can be pivoted about a vertical axis. The household appliance according to the invention can also have a further door leaf which is arranged next to the door leaf, is pivotable with respect to a vertical axis, has an inner side and an outer side, and comprises a further handle groove arranged in the outer side of the further door leaf, which further handle groove comprises a handle which forms an undercut with respect to the outer side of the further door leaf.
The handle groove of the door leaf is preferably arranged in the region of a side edge of the door leaf facing the other door leaf. The further handle groove of the further door leaf is preferably arranged in the region of a lateral edge of the further door leaf on the side facing the door leaf. The two handle slots are preferably at the same height, so that the lighting device can also illuminate the further handle slots. If the handle groove comprises a recess, for example, the recess preferably extends as far as the side of the door leaf on the side facing the further door leaf. The further handle groove can be embodied in correspondence with the handle groove, i.e. also comprises a recess which extends as far as the side of the further door leaf which is at the side facing the door leaf. However, the additional handle groove can also be embodied merely as a groove, which is arranged in the lateral side of the additional door leaf on the side facing the door leaf. The length of the groove preferably corresponds to the height of the recess of the handle groove of the door leaf. It is thereby possible for the recess of the further door leaf to be illuminated by the recess of the handle groove.
If the domestic appliance according to the invention is a domestic refrigerator, the handle groove can in particular have such a recess, wherein the wall of the recess is formed on an open housing for the assembly.
On the basis of the household appliance according to the invention, it is obtained that the electronic device and the handle are combined into one element (common assembly). It is thereby possible, if necessary, for the circuit board, to which the electrical and electronic components and the at least one lighting device are fastened, to be arranged directly next to the handle housing or the handle groove. If the at least one lighting means is an LED fixed to the circuit board, they can be laterally illuminated into the handle groove, for example, directly or via a light guide. The grip can then be illuminated by means of their light.
The lighting device can also be used for visualizing the switching state or the alarm state of the household appliance. For example, in the case of a door alarm, the light of the lighting device may assume a certain color, for example red. The door alarm is activated, for example, when the door page is opened for a predetermined duration. If necessary, the lighting device may also flash at the time of the alarm.
The so-called "holiday function" (standby function) can be indicated, for example, by the white light of the lighting device, which increases and decreases slowly, in particular in terms of intensity, which changes brightness at the rate of slow breathing.
Further functions, such as visualization of "eco-cooling" (energy saving mode) can be visualized by e.g. green light, or "super" by bright white light.
If necessary, the lighting device can also be designed to be interactive in that the electronic device automatically switches on at least one lighting means when a person approaches the household appliance or the handle compartment according to the invention. For this purpose, the household appliance may, for example, comprise a distance or proximity sensor connected to the electronic device. The distance or proximity sensor can be fixed, for example, on or in the outer side of the door leaf.
