The setting of the optical parameters (mainly brightness, contrast, chromaticity, etc.) of the display terminal (including a television, a mobile phone, a PAD, etc.) is generally completed through a user menu of the device according to the preference of the user.

When the change of the external ambient light intensity or the light color temperature exceeds a certain threshold (can be set), a user setting picture is automatically popped up to remind the user to reset the parameters.
The picture is generally a group of images or graphs with the same content and different display parameters, the selection of the parameters is based on the current value of the ambient light brightness and the best setting reference value range matched in the parameter combination library, and the parameter combination with the setting reference value in the range is displayed through the display screen for the user to select.
For example, as shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of white graphic blocks with different combinations of brightness, contrast and color temperature can be used to be sequentially arranged for display for user selection. Assuming 2 reference values for each parameter, there will be 8 white squares appearing on the screen at the same time. The user can select according to self comfort, and the program will accomplish the setting to the screen according to the corresponding parameter of selection. Similarly, assuming 3 reference values for each parameter, there will be 27 white squares appearing on the screen at the same time.
According to the method, when the brightness change exceeds a certain threshold value, the purpose is to prevent that the user is frequently prompted to set the display parameters due to the change of the ambient light, and the user performs parameter combination selection, so that the user can select proper display parameters according to the condition of the user, and convenience is provided for the user to set the display parameters.
In a specific embodiment, the display effect graph corresponding to the parameter combination may also be stored in the parameter combination library in advance, when the parameter combination is pushed for the user to select, the display effect graph corresponding to the parameter combination is directly pushed, and the user may directly select the display parameter according to the display effect in the display effect graph.
