Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a fastening plate to be fastened on the upper side of a ski for a ski binding jaw (Skibingungsbacken), which fastening plate has a groove extending in the longitudinal direction of the ski, in which groove a scale plate is detachably mounted, said scale plate indicating a sole length scale for a sole length range. The invention further relates to a graduated plate which indicates the sole length graduation over the sole length range and is detachably mounted in a recess of a fastening plate which extends in the longitudinal direction of the snowboard and is to be fastened on the upper side of the snowboard for a snowboard binding jaw.
Background
The sole length scales for matching the holder jaws of a ski-binding (Skibindung) to soles of different lengths within the range of sole lengths are usually printed directly on the fixing plate or on an adhesive label. The longitudinal adjustment range of the ski binding jaws for the binding plate is correlated with the sole length scale on the binding plate. For example, three different mounting positions are therefore generally provided for the fastening plate, wherein different scales are indicated on the fastening plate for each range of sole lengths to be set. It has long been known from EP 0489221 a1 to detachably clamp a graduated plate, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the snowboard and is calibrated to the length of the sole, to a fastening plate fastened to the snowboard, wherein separate graduated plates, which are correspondingly marked and are calibrated to the respective sole length at the respective base distance, are provided for the different base distances of the heel jaw to the front jaw.
Disclosure of Invention
The aim of the invention is to simplify the handling of a fastening plate with a scale plate and even the handling of the scale plate by a fastening plate assembler.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that the graduated plate is formed from an elastically deformable plastic film which is printed on at least one side with a scale indicating the extent of the length of the shoe sole. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, on each side of the scale plate, on both sides, there is printed a scale indicating the range of different sole lengths.
The scale plate according to the invention can be produced in large quantities at very low cost, so that a corresponding number and selection of ski bindings can be provided to the fitter without requiring a large amount of space. The scale plates of the invention are also simple to operate, and only need to be inserted or pushed into the grooves of the corresponding fixing plates.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the fastening plate according to the invention, at least one projection is formed on each of the longitudinal sides of the groove, said projection overlapping the graduation plate which is inserted into the groove at the edge. A greater number of projections may be provided to retain the scale plate in the recess of the fixed plate.
In a further preferred embodiment variant of the invention, the groove bottom is printed or injection-molded with a scale indicating the extent of the length of a particular shoe sole. Such a fixing plate can be mounted directly in the corresponding shoe size range without the need for an additional scale plate for mounting the ski binding. If the readability of the scale is worn out, the scale plate with the corresponding imprint can be pushed into the groove. When the fixing plate is remounted in the range of other shoe sizes, the scale plate with the corresponding scales can be placed in the groove and cover the scales at the bottom of the groove.
The scale plates can be produced in a simple and cost-effective manner and they can be simply stamped or cut out of a plastic film. In order to ensure that the scale plate has a certain bending behavior, it is advantageous if its thickness does not exceed 1.2mm, in particular 0.3mm to 0.7mm, preferably 0.4 mm.

Detailed Description
The fastening plates 1, 1' and 1 ″ shown in the figures are fastened, in particular screwed, on the upper side thereof in the fastening assembly region of a snowboard, not shown. For this purpose, for example, each fastening plate 1, 1 ', 1 ″ is provided with fastening holes 2 arranged in pairs, two pairs being provided for each fastening plate 1, 1', 1 ″. The holding plates 1, 1 ', 1 ", which are preferably manufactured from plastic by injection molding, are provided in a known manner with lateral longitudinal edges for forming the sliding rails 3, which longitudinal edges are parallel to the longitudinal direction of the snowboard on the holding plates 1, 1', 1" fitted on the snowboard, so that it is possible to push away corresponding snowboard binding parts with mutually opposite members, such as base plates and the like, for forming the sliding rails 3. On the upper side of each of the fastening plates 1, 1 ', 1 ", an elongated shallow recess 1a, 1' a, 1" a is formed, which extends along or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the snowboard on the assembled fastening plate 1, 1 ', 1 ", in which a slot insert (rasteinstz) 4 is inserted, which is preferably fastened, for example riveted, to the respective fastening plate 1, 1', 1". Each slot insert 4 has a plurality of slot projections 4a oriented in the lateral direction of the snowboard, which in a known manner make it possible for the respective snowboard binding part to engage in different longitudinal positions of the fixing plate 1, 1', 1 ″. Furthermore, in the embodiment shown, the fastening plates 1, 1', 1 ″ are provided with a plurality of slits, in the embodiment shown in fig. 1 the fastening plates having a web-like structure, and in the embodiment shown in fig. 2 the fastening plates having a honeycomb structure.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the bottom 5a of the recess 5 is printed with a scale 5b of a specific shoe size range, which scale is either die cast during the production of the fixing plate 1. Said size range is correlated with the installation position of the fastening plate 1 on the snowboard and thus allows the adjustment of the heel jaw in the longitudinal direction of the slot insert 4 within the size range marked by the scale 5b, wherein the scale 5b interacts with the mark fixed on the heel jaw. The scale plate 7 shown in fig. 1 has an outer size and an outer shape matching the size and the shape of the groove 5 and is printed on its upper side with a scale 7a corresponding to the scale 5b on the bottom 5a of the groove 5. It is thus possible to push the scale plate 7 into the groove 5 and thereby replace the original scale 5b if the readability of the original scale 5b at the bottom 5a of the groove 5 is worn. Other markings of other shoe size ranges can be printed on the lower side of the marking plate 7, not shown, so that the second side of the marking plate 7 can be inserted as the upper side into the recess 5 when the fastening plate 1 is again mounted in this shoe size range. Alternatively, a graduated plate 7 can be used, which is only printed on one side with the graduation of the second shoe size range.
In the embodiment of the fixing plate 1' shown in fig. 2, the bottom 5a of the recess 5 is not provided with a scale. In this embodiment, a scale plate 7 having a scale 7a corresponding to the installation position of the fixing plate 1' is used. For example, three graduated plates 7 may be provided, the three graduated plates 7 having three graduations of different ranges of shoe sizes. In this embodiment it is also possible to use a scale plate 7 which is printed with different scales not only on its upper side but also on its lower side.
In the fastening plate 1 ″ shown in fig. 2 for arranging the front clamping jaw of a snowboard binding, which is not shown, a recess 1 "a is provided, in which a slot insert 4 is inserted, said recess 1" a being provided in the rear region of the fastening plate 1 ". The recess 5 ', which is also provided on the rear end section of the fastening plate 1 "for receiving the graduation plate 7', is U-shaped in plan view and has a section which extends laterally of the insert 4. On the longitudinal sides of said portion, short projections 6 ' project, below which a graduated plate 7 ' matching in size and shape the grooves 5 ' can be placed. The scale of the range of a specific shoe size can be printed on the bottom 5 'a of the recess 5', in particular also in the parts on both sides of the insert 4. The scale plate 7 'can be printed with scales 7' a for different ranges of shoe sizes not only on its upper side but also on its lower side. Or a corresponding scale plate 7' can be printed for each set shoe size range.
The scale plates 7, 7' are stamped or cut out of an elastically deformable plastic film, for example of polystyrene, and have a thickness of not more than 1.2mm, in particular from 0.3mm to 0.7mm, preferably 0.4 mm. In order to simplify the use of the scale plates 7, 7', each scale of a range of specific shoe sizes may be printed with a specific color.
