As shown in fig. 7, the method includes:
s401, when existence of unread multimedia messages is detected, if the detected unread multimedia messages are a plurality of unread multimedia messages in the same group, displaying operation control keys corresponding to the unread multimedia messages and the total number of the unread multimedia messages in the message list;
when a user logs in a client with the functions of multimedia message transceiving and playing, the client opens a message list, pulls unread messages associated with a login account used when logging in the client from a server, and detects whether the pulled unread messages contain multimedia messages. The multimedia message may include, but is not limited to: voice, video, motion pictures, and other multimedia messages that can be controlled for playback.
The message list is arranged up and down to display a plurality of contact message lines and/or group message lines, and each contact message line can include but is not limited to information such as the name of a contact, the last contact time, the communication mode of the contact, whether the contact is on-line or not, the network form and the like. Each group message line may include, but is not limited to, the name of the group to which the group message corresponds, the last contact time, and the like. In one example, the operation control key is displayed at a designated position in the group message line corresponding to the unread multimedia message.
Specifically, when the unread multimedia message is a single multimedia message from the same group, the operation control key corresponding to the unread multimedia message is displayed in the message list; and when the unread multimedia messages are a plurality of multimedia messages from the same group, displaying the operation control keys corresponding to the unread multimedia messages and the total number of the unread multimedia messages in the group in the message list. The operation control key may include a play key for triggering the playing of the unread multimedia message. In addition, the head portrait and the name of the group corresponding to the unread multimedia message are presented in the message queue by default. The avatar for the group may include, but is not limited to: a combination of the avatars of the contacts in the group or other custom avatars. The name of the group may include, but is not limited to: a combination of the names of the contacts in the group or other custom names.
Further, if the unread multimedia message is not detected, prompting is performed in the message list according to the common message, that is, a default message list not containing the operation control key is displayed.
