A flue assembly 100 for a water heater according to an embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to fig. 1-3. The flue assembly 100 defines a channel 1 for flow of flue gases, the channel 1 having a flue inlet 11 and a flue outlet 12.
As shown in fig. 1-3, the channel 1 comprises a main section 3, a convergent section 4 and a transition section 5.
Specifically, one end (the lower end as shown in fig. 2) of the main body section 3 communicates with the flue inlet 11, the contraction section 4 has a first end 41 and a second end 42, the first end 41 communicates with the other end (the upper end as shown in fig. 2) of the main body section 3, the second end 42 communicates with the flue outlet 12, the first end 41 has a width W1, the second end 42 has a width W2, and the first end 41 has a cross-sectional area S1 and the second end 42 has a cross-sectional area S2 in a cross-section perpendicular to the flow direction of flue gas, wherein W1 > W2 and S1 is S2. Therefore, the structure of the flue assembly 100 can be simplified, the structure of the water heater or the wall-mounted furnace can be satisfied, meanwhile, the pneumatic noise of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, the pressure loss of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, and the performance of the water heater or the wall-mounted furnace can be improved.
Transition section 5 has a third end 51 and a fourth end 52, third end 51 communicating with constrictor 4 and third end 51 connected to top wall 44 of constrictor 4, and stack outlet 12 is provided at fourth end 52. Therefore, the structure of the flue assembly 100 can meet the structural requirements of a water heater or a wall-mounted furnace and the like, the flue assembly 100 is prevented from interfering with the structures of the water heater or the wall-mounted furnace and the like, and the compactness and the rationality of the structures of the water heater or the wall-mounted furnace and the like are ensured. Meanwhile, the structure and the processing technology of the flue assembly 100 can be simplified, the pressure loss of the flue gas entering the transition section 5 from the contraction section 4 can be reduced, the pneumatic noise of the flue gas is reduced, and the performances of a water heater or a wall-mounted furnace and the like are improved.
When the structure of the flue assembly 100 is complicated, the complicated structure greatly affects aerodynamic noise, and thus, large noise is likely to occur. And when the flue gas flowing channel 1 in the flue assembly 100 is long, the pressure loss of the whole flue assembly 100 is usually large, and the performance of a water heater or a wall-mounted furnace is affected.
According to the flue assembly 100 of the embodiment of the invention, by arranging the flue assembly 100 into the main body section 3, the contraction section 4 and the transition section 5, and making the width of the first end 41 of the contraction section 4 larger than the width of the second end 42, the cross-sectional area of the first end 41 is equal to that of the second end 42, and at the same time, making the third end 51 of the transition section 5 communicated with the top wall 44 of the contraction section 4, the structure of the flue assembly 100 can be simplified, the aerodynamic noise of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, and the pressure loss of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced.
In some embodiments of the present invention, W1 ≦ 40cm, as shown in FIG. 2. Experiments prove that when W1 is less than or equal to 40cm, the width of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, the structure of the flue assembly 100 is simplified, and meanwhile, the occupied space of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, so that the structure of the water heater or the wall-mounted furnace is more compact and reasonable. In addition, the pressure loss of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, and the performance of the water heater or the wall-hanging stove can be improved.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, W2 ≧ 6 cm. Experiments prove that when the W2 is larger than or equal to 6cm, the structure and the processing technology of the flue assembly 100 can be simplified, meanwhile, the pressure loss of the flue assembly 100 can be reduced, and the performance of the water heater or the wall-mounted furnace is improved.
In some embodiments of the invention, the cross-sectional area of the body segment 33 in a cross-section perpendicular to the direction of flow of the flue gas is S3, S3 ═ S1. When the flue gas flows in the channel 1, because the cross-sectional area in the main body section 3 is equal to the cross-sectional area of the first end 41 of the contraction section 4, the pressure loss of the flue gas flowing from the main body section 3 to the contraction section 4 can be reduced, the pneumatic noise of the flue gas is reduced, and the performance of a water heater or a wall-mounted furnace and the like is improved. Of course, in the cross section perpendicular to the flow direction of the flue gas, the cross sectional area in the contraction section 4 can be equal everywhere, so that the pressure loss of the flue gas flowing through the contraction section 4 can be further reduced, the pneumatic noise of the flue gas is reduced, and the performance of a water heater or a wall-mounted furnace and the like is improved.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, the main body section 3 has a first inner bottom wall 31 formed as a plane, the contraction section 4 has a second inner bottom wall 43 formed as a plane, the first inner bottom wall 31 is connected with the second inner bottom wall 43, and the first inner bottom wall 31 and the second inner bottom wall 43 are located in the same plane. Therefore, the structure and the processing technology of the contraction section 4 are convenient to simplify, the production period is saved, and the production cost is reduced. For example, in the example shown in fig. 2, the width of the main body section 3 is kept constant along the direction of flow of the flue gas, the width of the first end 41 of the constricted section 4 is equal to that of the main body section 3, the left side wall of the constricted section 4 is kept flush with the left side wall of the main body section 3 in the direction from the first end 41 to the second end 42, and the right side wall of the constricted section 4 is inclined toward the left side wall in the direction from the first end 41 to the second end 42 to gradually reduce the width of the constricted section 4 in the direction from the first end 41 to the second end 42. Therefore, the structure and the processing technology of the transition section 5 can be simplified, so that the structure and the processing technology of the flue assembly 100 are simplified, the production period is saved, and the production cost is reduced.
Further, as shown in fig. 1 and 3, the vertical section 55 and the horizontal section 54 are smoothly transitioned.
