In an embodiment of the present invention, the terminal 100 may communicate through a physical SIM card and/or a virtual SIM card. Specifically, the physical SIM card is placed in a card slot of the terminal 100 for storing network-specific information for authenticating and identifying a subscriber on a network, including: integrated Circuit Card Identity (ICCID), International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), authentication key (Ki), and Local Area Identity (LAI), as well as other operator-specific data, such as SMSC (short message service center) Number, Service Provider Name (SPN), Service Dialing Number (SDN), and Value Added Service (VAS) applications.

The virtual sim (vsim) card does not occupy the card slot of the terminal 100, and exists in the form of software, and the parameters of the virtual card involved can be obtained in various ways. For example, a user may purchase a VSIM service contract (e.g., a package) from any service provider (e.g., an operator) and download corresponding provisioning data for that service provider. Provisioning information may be loaded into the VSIM. Additionally, a user may store provisioning information for multiple service contracts on a VSIM. The user may switch service providers simply by accessing and enforcing the stored provisioning information for the selected service contract.
In one embodiment, the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card may be provided by a virtual card server, which may be a physically existing server or a virtual server implemented based on existing cloud computing technology. The virtual card server can maintain and manage a virtual card list, performs network communication with each terminal, and is used for issuing virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card to each terminal; and the system can also carry out network communication with each operator for authenticating the virtual SIM cards served by each operator.
The terminal 100 may communicate with the virtual card server through the mobile communication interface 13 and/or the wireless internet interface 14 to obtain the virtual card parameters.
In other embodiments, the virtual SIM card may be preset in the terminal 100 when the terminal 100 is shipped from the factory, or may be installed in the terminal 100 in other manners. The virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card may be written in a data format into a parameter file and stored in a non-volatile storage area of the terminal 100, which may be designated or default.

The virtual card parameters may include: an Integrated Circuit Card Identification (ICCID), an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), an authentication key (Ki), and a Local Area Identity (LAI), among others. Wherein the ICCID is a unique identification number of the card.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the terminal 100 stores one or more network parameter files. The network parameter file is used for storing a configuration file of network parameters, and when network searching registration of cards (entity SIM cards and virtual SIM cards) is carried out, the network searching registration can be correctly carried out only by strictly adopting the network parameter file matched with the cards. The network parameter file comprises frequency band, channel number and other parameters required by network searching and network registration.
The type of the card (e.g. IMSI described above) is determined according to the information (e.g. physical SIM card, virtual SIM card) of the card, and then the network parameter file matching therewith is selected according to the type of the card. If the matched network parameter file is not activated, the modem processor is restarted to activate the network parameter file matched with the card for network searching and registration.
Referring to fig. 3, a virtual card system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a virtual card server 200, a terminal 100 and an operator 300.
The virtual card server 200 is configured to implement management of virtual card resources, and send virtual card parameters of a virtual SIM card to the terminal 100 through a communication network. The virtual card server 200 is connected with the server of the operator 300, and completes the functions of interactive management of virtual SIM card resources, dynamic update of state, flow statistics and speed limitation. On the other hand, the virtual card server 200 provides the terminal 100 with interfaces including user and device management, package and order management, encryption transmission of card resources, and the like. A user may purchase and obtain a package by connecting to virtual card server 200 via a communication network to download appropriate provisioning data to support the desired package. The communication network may be a cellular telephone network or a data network.
Fig. 1 shows a structure of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention. The application processor 10 includes a virtual card processing module 101.
A virtual card processing module 101 for performing card resource interaction with the virtual card server 200, requesting virtual card parameters from the virtual card server 200 through a communication interface (a mobile communication interface 13 or a wireless internet interface 14) of the terminal 100, and for data/instruction interaction with the modem processor 11; and system logic for emulating a physical SIM card (protocols and file systems implementing the ISO7816 standard and 3GPP specifications for UICC and USIM, etc.). And is also used for executing operations such as storage deletion of virtual SIM card resources, startup and shutdown of the virtual SIM card, and the like, and completing configuration of APN and necessary cellular data setting, such as data switch, roaming switch, switching default data card, and the like, in the activation process of the virtual SIM card. In one embodiment, the activation refers to registering the ic card id of the virtual SIM card in the core network of the operator and letting the virtual SIM card obtain normal service.
And a modem processor 11 for implementing access to the virtual SIM card, implementing a virtual SIM card protocol, and the like.
Referring to fig. 4, based on the hardware, the network and the system, a virtual SIM card management method according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided, which includes the following steps:
and S1, after the modem processor is restarted to activate the network parameter file matched with the virtual SIM card, waiting for the report of the virtual SIM card within a preset time.
Specifically, when the terminal needs to enable the virtual SIM card, the virtual SIM card is activated (for example, the virtual SIM card is turned on), and if the current network parameter file is not matched with the activated virtual SIM card, the current network parameter file is switched to the network parameter file matched with the current network parameter file according to the parameters of the virtual SIM card, such as the IMSI and the like. The modem processor needs to be restarted to activate the switched network parameter file.
In one embodiment, when the virtual SIM card is activated, virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card are stored to a preset storage area. The virtual card parameter here is an ICCID that can uniquely identify the virtual SIM card. The predetermined storage area may be a virtual card parameter cache area of the application processor.
Referring to fig. 5, in an embodiment of the present invention, after the modem processor is restarted, the protocol layer in the operating system of the terminal 100 may actively report the state change event, and the RIL layer monitors the state change event actively reported by the protocol layer, and sends a broadcast to the virtual card processing module 101. Upon receipt of the broadcast event, the virtual card processing module 101 confirms that the modem processor has completed a subsystem restart. At this time, the network parameter file is matched with the virtual SIM card, and the virtual SIM card can be activated and enabled normally. It should be understood that the RIL layer in the terminal 100 is primarily a function that handles communication between the communication framework and the modem. The protocol layer is an implementation for the virtual SIM card protocol.
In order to realize normal starting of the virtual SIM card, in the embodiment of the invention, after the modem is restarted, the report of the virtual SIM card is waited for within a preset time. During this period, if the entity SIM card reports, the ICCID of the reported entity SIM card is empty, and the entity SIM card is subjected to power failure processing.
In an embodiment of the present invention, after the modem processor is restarted, whether the virtual card parameter of the virtual SIM card is stored in the preset storage area is detected to determine whether the virtual SIM card exists. And if the virtual SIM card exists, reactivating the virtual SIM card, and waiting for the report of the virtual SIM card within the preset time.
Specifically, after receiving the broadcast event, the virtual card processing module 101 determines that the modem processor completes a subsystem restart, and then re-issues an instruction to re-activate the virtual SIM card.
And S2, starting the virtual SIM card reported in the preset time.
Specifically, preset parameters of the virtual SIM card reported within a preset time are obtained, the obtained parameters are compared with parameters stored in a preset storage area, and when the obtained parameters are consistent with the parameters stored in the preset storage area, the virtual SIM card is started.
The virtual SIM card management method of the embodiment of the invention also comprises an exception handling mechanism, namely:
and in the preset time, if the virtual SIM card is not reported, starting other reported SIM cards. Specifically, in an embodiment, in order to prevent the virtual SIM card iccid from being reported due to an exception, a timeout mechanism of 10s is added, and when the iccid of the virtual SIM card is not reported after 10s, the reported physical SIM card or other cards needs to be activated.
The virtual card management method of the embodiment of the invention further comprises the following steps:
and deleting the virtual card parameters stored in the preset storage area when the preset conditions are met. Specifically, the preset conditions may be: the virtual SIM card is turned off (e.g., the user turns off the virtual SIM card functionality). In order to prevent the problem of business logic, when the virtual SIM card is closed, the virtual card parameters in the preset storage area are cleared and deleted.
In one embodiment, when writing the virtual card parameters into the preset storage area, the ICCID of the virtual SIM card may be written into the preset storage area according to the following format: ICCID field + card slot ID field. For example, when the terminal 100 has two card slots, and the virtual SIM card corresponds to card slot 1, the ICCID and 0 of the virtual SIM card are written in the preset storage area; and if the virtual SIM card corresponds to the card slot 2, writing the ICCID and 1 of the virtual SIM card into a preset storage area. Thus, when the virtual card parameter is to be deleted, the ICCID may be set to null (null).
In the virtual SIM card management method of the embodiment of the present invention, by changing the card switching logic, after the modem processor is restarted, the report of the virtual SIM card is waited for first, so as to enable the virtual SIM card.
Correspondingly, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a terminal, including:
the waiting module is used for waiting for the report of the virtual SIM card within the preset time after the modem is restarted to activate the network parameter file matched with the virtual SIM card;
and the virtual card starting module is used for starting the virtual SIM card reported in the preset time.
Further comprising: the storage module is used for activating the virtual SIM card, acquiring virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card and storing the virtual card parameters into a preset storage area;
and the comparison module is used for acquiring the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card reported within the preset time, comparing the acquired parameters with the parameters stored in the preset storage area, and starting the virtual SIM card when the acquired parameters are consistent with the parameters stored in the preset storage area.
Wherein, wait the module and include:
the switching unit is used for judging whether the current network parameter file is matched with the activated virtual SIM card, if not, switching the network parameter file, and restarting the demodulator processor to activate the switched network parameter file;
the detection unit is used for detecting whether virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card are stored in a preset storage area after the modem processor is restarted so as to judge whether the virtual SIM card exists;
and the reactivation unit is used for reactivating the virtual SIM card if the virtual SIM card exists, and waiting for the report of the virtual SIM card within the preset time.
It should be understood that the specific implementation details of the terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention are the same as those of the virtual card management method described above, and are not described herein again.
Referring to fig. 6, a virtual card management method according to another embodiment of the present invention includes:
and S61, activating the virtual SIM card, acquiring the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card, and storing the virtual card parameters in a preset storage area.
Specifically, activating the virtual SIM card establishes a channel between the modem processor and the virtual SIM card. The modem processor may read virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card. In one embodiment, the acquired virtual card parameter of the virtual SIM card may be an integrated circuit card identification number (ICCID).
And when the virtual SIM card is activated, storing the acquired integrated circuit card identification code (ICCID) of the virtual SIM card into a preset storage area.
And S62, judging whether the current network parameter file is matched with the activated virtual SIM card, if not, switching the network parameter file, and restarting the modem processor to activate the switched network parameter file.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present invention, a virtual SIM card may support multiple operator networks (e.g., an operator a network, an operator B network, an operator C network, etc.), different operator networks correspond to different technical standards, and the different technical standards are stored separately. When the virtual SIM card is updated/loaded, the operator network is selected to obtain the corresponding technical standard. After the operator network is selected, the information such as the international mobile identity, the user identity authentication security algorithm and the like in the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card can be determined.
In one embodiment, when switching the network parameter file, the type of the virtual SIM card may be identified according to an international mobile identity (IMSI) in the virtual card parameter of the virtual SIM card, for example, the type of the virtual SIM card belongs to the a-carrier network. After the type of the virtual SIM card is identified, the network parameter file matched with the virtual SIM card can be selected for activation. If the matched network parameter file is not activated, the network parameter file can be activated by restarting the modem processor. If the network parameter file matching the virtual SIM card is activated (e.g., in use), the virtual SIM card can be enabled directly without restarting the modem processor.
And S63, after the modem processor is restarted, detecting whether the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card are stored in the preset storage area to judge whether the virtual SIM card exists.
And S64, if the virtual SIM card exists, reactivating the virtual SIM card, and waiting for the report of the virtual SIM card within the preset time.
When the report of the virtual SIM card is waited, the report of the entity SIM card is ignored, and the entity card can be subjected to power down (power down) processing, so that the entity SIM card is in an absend (default) state;
s65, acquiring the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card reported in the preset time, comparing the acquired parameters with the parameters stored in the preset storage area, and starting the virtual SIM card when the acquired parameters are consistent with the parameters stored in the preset storage area.
Specifically, the virtual SIM card is enabled, that is, the virtual SIM card is normally used for network searching registration and other service activities.
In order to prevent the iccid of the virtual SIM card from being reported due to an exception in the activation process, in the embodiment of the present invention, a timeout mechanism of 10s (i.e. the preset time) is added, and when the iccid of the virtual SIM card is not reported after 10s, other cards in front, for example, the entity SIM card that is reported, need to be activated.
It should be understood that the specific implementation details of the virtual card management method according to the embodiment of the present invention are also applicable to this embodiment, and are not described herein again.
The virtual SIM card management method of the embodiment of the invention enables the modem processor to wait for the report of the virtual SIM card after restarting by changing the card switching logic so as to normally start the virtual SIM card.
Referring to fig. 7, in an embodiment of the present invention, when the ue 100 roams, the virtual SIM function of the ue can be turned on to access the corresponding operator network without replacing, purchasing and installing the physical SIM card, so as to save the user cost. The terminal 100 includes an application processor 10, a modem processor 11, and a virtual card processing module 101. It should be understood that the virtual card processing module 101 may be a stand-alone system or a module in the application processor 10.
First, the virtual card processing module 101 completes card resource interaction with the virtual card server 200, and requests virtual card parameters from the virtual card server 200 through the communication interface (the mobile communication interface 13 or the wireless internet interface 14) of the terminal 100. The virtual card processing module 101 is further configured to complete registration of the virtual SIM card in the core network of the operator, and enable the virtual SIM card to obtain normal services.
The application processor 10 activates the virtual SIM card, obtains a virtual card parameter of the virtual SIM card, and stores the virtual card parameter in a preset storage area; and judging whether the current network parameter file is matched with the activated virtual SIM card, and if not, switching the network parameter file. Specifically, since the user terminal 100 roams, for example, international roaming, the current network parameter file and the network parameter file of the virtual SIM card applicable to the roaming location are largely mismatched. Thus, the network profile needs to be switched to match the active virtual SIM card. When switching network parameter files, the corresponding network parameter files can be matched according to the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of the virtual SIM card.
Modem processor 11 reboots to activate the switched network parameter file.
After the modem processor 11 is restarted, the application processor 10 detects whether a virtual card parameter of a virtual SIM card is stored in a preset storage area to determine whether the virtual SIM card exists; and if the virtual SIM card exists, reactivating the virtual SIM card, and waiting for the report of the virtual SIM card within the preset time. Specifically, through the process, after it is determined that the virtual SIM card exists in the terminal 100 and needs to be activated (that is, the virtual card parameters of the virtual SIM card are stored in the preset storage area), the application processor 10 reactivates the virtual SIM card and waits for the report of the virtual SIM card. It should be understood that when the virtual SIM card reports, it reports its ICCID. If the terminal 100 has the entity SIM card, and receives the report of the entity SIM card (i.e. receives the ICCID of the entity SIM card) within the preset time, the report is ignored. In some embodiments, the entity SIM card is powered down to be in a default state, so that reporting of the virtual SIM card is not affected. If the report of the virtual SIM card is not received within the preset time, the reported entity SIM card is processed to start the entity SIM card.
The application processor 10 obtains a virtual card parameter (ICCID) of the virtual SIM card reported within a preset time, compares the obtained parameter with a parameter stored in a preset storage area, and activates the virtual SIM card when the obtained parameter and the parameter are consistent. Specifically, the comparison is performed to verify whether the virtual SIM card is consistent with the virtual SIM card to be activated. Therefore, the virtual SIM card can be normally started in a roaming state, and the starting failure of the virtual SIM card can not be caused by the report of other cards (such as a physical SIM card).
