Abstract

提供一种显示面板的过驱动电路系统,包括:感测单元、时序控制单元和存储单元,其中,感测单元通过感测显示面板的温度来生成相应的电压;存储单元中存储有多组过冲表;时序控制单元基于所述电压,从所述多组过冲表中选择与所述电压相应的过冲表。所述过驱动电路系统,考虑了温度的影响,感测LCD面板的温度,并且在不同温度下,采用相应的过冲表,从而避免拖影现象的产生。

Description

显示面板及其过驱动电路系统
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示领域,更具体地说,涉及一种显示面板及其过驱动电路系统。
背景技术
在液晶(LCD)面板显示中,为了尽快达到显示所需的目标灰阶,一般采用过驱动OD(Over Driving)技术,通过使用过冲表(OD Table),使得当前灰度尽可能在一帧内达到目标灰度。如果没有OD,则由于液晶响应速度的影响会导致显示画面需要几个帧才能达到所需的目标灰阶,使得画面出现拖影现象。如图1所示,在未采用OD的情况下,需要大约3帧或4帧才能达到目标灰度,参照图2,在采用OD的情况下,仅需要大约1帧即可到达目标灰度。
因此,目前的LCD面板驱动中都有OD,然而在实际的过驱动过程中,经常存在以下问题:OD不足,即过驱动之后的灰阶仍远低于目标灰阶,或者OD过头,即过驱动之后的灰阶远高于目标灰阶,因而不能有效地满足过驱动之后的灰阶基本等于目标灰阶的要求,使得拖影现象更加严重。
发明内容
为克服现有技术的不足,本发明构思提供一种显示面板的过驱动电路系统,所述过驱动电路系统包括:感测单元、时序控制单元和存储单元,其中,感测单元通过感测显示面板的温度来生成相应的电压;存储单元中存储有多组过冲表;时序控制单元基于所述电压,从所述多组过冲表中选择与所述电压相应的过冲表。
优选地,所述多组过冲表中的每组过冲表对应于在一个温度范围内显示面板过驱动所需的数据。
优选地,选择的过冲表是与感测所述电压时的温度所属的温度范围相应的过冲表。
优选地,感测单元包括串联连接的恒定电压、恒定电阻和热敏电阻,其中,热敏电阻具有随显示面板的温度变化而变化的电阻值;感测单元通过恒定电阻和热敏电阻对恒定电压的分压来生成所述电压。
优选地,感测单元包括将感测电压进行放大的放大器。
有益效果:
根据本发明构思的示例实施例的显示面板的过驱动电路系统,考虑了温度的影响,感测LCD面板的温度,并且在不同温度下,采用相适应的过冲表,从而可在不同的温度下均满足过驱动之后的灰阶基本等于目标灰阶的要求,避免拖影现象的产生。

具体实施方式
参照附图提供以下的描述以帮助全面理解由权利要求及其等同物限定的本发明构思的各种实施例。以下描述包括用于帮助理解的各种具体细节,但是这些细节应被仅视为示例性的。因此,本领域的普通技术人员将认识到,在不脱离本发明构思的范围和精神的情况下,可对这里描述的实施例进行各种改变和修改。另外,为了清楚和简明,可省略对公知功能和构造的描述。
图3示出根据本发明构思的示例实施例的显示面板的过驱动电路系统。参照图3,显示面板的过驱动电路系统300包括:感测单元301、时序控制单元302、存储单元303和LCD面板304。
感测单元301用于感测LCD面板304的温度。在感测单元301中,热敏电阻R2可设置在LCD面板上,用以侦测LCD面板的温度,当温度降低时,热敏电阻R2的阻值减小,当温度增加时,热敏电阻R2的阻值增大。热敏电阻R2的一端与具有预定阻值的电阻R1和电压源(例如,3.3V)串联连接,热敏电阻R2的另一端与地端连接。在工作过程中,电阻R1与热敏电阻R2之间生成分压电压V1,由于热敏电阻R2随着温度的变化而变化,因此,分压电压V1也随着温度的变化而变化,即,分压电压V1是LCD面板的温度的表现。
由于直接获得的分压电压V1的电压值较小,不利于时序控制单元302的准确感测,因此将分压电压V1通过电压跟随器和电压放大器进行放大,得到电压V3。参照图3,分压电压V1输入到由放大器OP1构成的电压跟随器的正输入端,电压跟随器输出的电压V2输入到电压跟随器的反向输入端,并且输入到放大器OP2的正向输入端;放大器OP2的反向输入端通过电阻R4连接到地端,并且通过电阻R3连接到其输出端;最终输出电压V3。
时序控制单元302感测放大器OP2输出的电压V3,并且根据电压V3,通过SPI(串行外设接口)或I2C总线从存储单元303,读取与电压V3所对应的温度相应的一组过冲表。在此,SPI或I2C仅是示例性的意义,本发明构思不限于此,可采用任何合适类型的传输接口和总线。
根据示例实施例,存储单元303可以是闪存(Flash)或电可擦可编程只读存储器(EEROM),但本发明构思不限于此,可采用任何合适类型的存储器。
在存储单元303中存储有多组过冲表。在不同的温度下液晶的响应速度不同,针对不同的温度选择对LCD面板进行过驱动所需的相应的过冲表。过冲表中包括显示面板过驱动所需的数据。多组过冲表中的每组过冲表根据各个温度范围(或电压范围)而被预先设置。例如,可将LCD面板304的工作温度划分为10℃一阶(可根据实际需要进行调整),每一阶温度范围对应于一组过冲表。根据一个示例实施例,可将每一阶温度范围根据感测单元的电路结构转换为对应的一个电压范围,则一个电压范围对应于一组过冲表。时序控制单元302根据感测的电压V3,选择与电压V3所处的电压范围对应的一组过冲表。在不同的工作温度下,根据选择的过冲表中的过驱动数据,对LCD面板304进行与该工作温度相适应的过驱动,从而避免OD不足或OD过头。
根据本发明构思的示例实施例的显示面板的过驱动电路系统,考虑了温度的影响,感测LCD面板的温度,并且在不同温度下,采用相适应的过冲表,从而可在不同的温度下均满足过驱动之后的灰阶基本等于目标灰阶的要求,避免拖影现象的产生。
根据本发明构思的示例实施例不受限于如以上所描述的实施例,并且可在本发明构思的技术方案允许的范围内,在形式和细节上进行各种改变。
尽管已经参照本发明构思的实施例示出和描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解,在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本公开的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种改变。

Claims (6)

1.一种显示面板的过驱动电路系统,其特征在于,包括:感测单元、时序控制单元和存储单元,
其中,感测单元通过感测显示面板的温度来生成相应的电压;
存储单元中存储有多组过冲表;
时序控制单元基于所述电压,从所述多组过冲表中选择与所述电压相应的过冲表。
2.如权利要求1所述的过驱动电路系统,其特征在于,所述多组过冲表中的每组过冲表对应于在一个温度范围内显示面板过驱动所需的数据。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的过驱动电路系统,其特征在于,选择的过冲表是与感测所述电压时的温度所属的温度范围相应的过冲表。
4.如权利要求3所述的过驱动电路系统,其特征在于,感测单元包括串联连接的恒定电压、恒定电阻和热敏电阻,
其中,热敏电阻具有随显示面板的温度变化而变化的电阻值;
感测单元通过恒定电阻和热敏电阻对恒定电压的分压来生成所述电压。
5.如权利要求4所述的过驱动电路系统,其特征在于,感测单元包括将感测电压进行放大的放大器。
6.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括权利要求1至5任一项所述的过驱动电路系统。
