Abstract
The present invention provides an auxiliary support device for a trim strip of a trunk lid of a vehicle, the trim strip extending along a rear portion of the trunk lid in a lateral direction of the vehicle and being fixed to a body of the trunk lid, the trim strip having an end portion with a narrowed width, the end portion extending above a tail lamp seating portion of the trunk lid and the end portion being fixed to the body of the trunk lid on both sides of the tail lamp seating portion, the auxiliary support device including: a base integrally formed with the end portion, a plate-shaped support member fixedly mounted on the base at a bottom, and a cushion pad fixed at a top of the support member, wherein the cushion pad of the auxiliary support device is supported on the tail lamp base plate.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an auxiliary support device for a trim panel of a trunk lid of a vehicle, and more particularly to an auxiliary support device for a trim panel that is chrome-plated at the rear of a trunk lid of a vehicle.
Background
In an existing vehicle type, as shown in fig. 1, an elongated trim strip 10 extending in the lateral direction of the vehicle is provided behind a trunk lid 1 of the vehicle, and the elongated trim strip 10 is generally fixed to a body of the trunk lid of the vehicle body by screws and snaps in the longitudinal direction of the elongated trim strip. As shown in fig. 1, the elongated trim 10 has a narrowed end portion above the rear lamp on the trunk lid, which extends above the recessed tail lamp seating portion 18 of the trunk lid 1, and can be fixed to the body projection of the trunk lid on both sides of the tail lamp seating portion 18 only at the start position and the end position of the narrowed end portion by the screw 11 and the catch 12, but the middle portion of the narrowed end portion is suspended with respect to the recessed tail lamp seating portion 18 and cannot be fixed to the body of the trunk lid by the screw and the catch, so that there is a weak area 2 of strength at both ends of the elongated trim. Thus, the thin and long decoration strip 10 is easy to be crushed and loosened in the weak strength area 2 at the end.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art and to provide an auxiliary support device for an elongated trim strip of a trunk lid of a vehicle, which overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art and allows the elongated trim strip of the trunk lid to be well supported at the end portion above the rear light of the trunk lid.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a supplementary support device for a trim of a trunk lid of a vehicle, the trim extending along a rear portion of the trunk lid in a lateral direction of the vehicle and being fixed to a body of the trunk lid, the trim having an end portion narrowed in width, the end portion extending above a tail lamp seating portion of the trunk lid and the end portion being fixed to the body of the trunk lid on both sides of the tail lamp seating portion, the supplementary support device comprising: a base integrally formed with the end portion, a plate-shaped support member fixedly mounted on the base at a bottom, and a cushion pad fixed on a top of the support member, wherein the cushion pad is supported on the tail lamp base plate.
Preferably, the base includes first and second protruding engaging portions spaced apart from each other on both sides of the support member, respectively, and the support member is provided at both sides thereof with first and second joints, respectively, the first joint being connected to the first engaging portion and the second joint being connected to the second joint.
Preferably, the first joint is a plug joint and the second joint is a snap joint, the first engagement portion being provided with a hole for engaging the plug joint and the second engagement portion being provided with a hook for connecting the snap joint.
Preferably, the first and second joints are snap joints, and the first and second engagement portions are provided with hooks for connecting the snap joints.
Preferably, the auxiliary supporting means further comprises positioning means provided on the base and the supporting member.
Preferably, the positioning means includes a positioning pin provided on the base and a positioning hole provided on the support member.
Preferably, the cushioning pad is a foam pad bonded to the top of the support member.
Preferably, the plate-shaped support member is provided with protruding reinforcing ribs.
Preferably, the support member further has a projection at the bottom which engages in a recess in the base.
According to another aspect of the invention, a motor vehicle is proposed, comprising an auxiliary support device for a trim strip of a trunk lid of the vehicle described above.

Detailed Description
According to one embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, an elongated trim 10 extending in the lateral direction of the vehicle is provided behind a trunk lid 1 of the vehicle, the elongated trim 10 having a narrowed end portion located above a rear lamp on the trunk lid, the narrowed end portion being provided at a middle portion thereof with an auxiliary support device 20, the auxiliary support device 20 being fixedly attached to a body of the elongated trim 10 on one side and supported on an upper side of a tail lamp seating plate 18 of the trunk lid 1 on the other side.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the elongated molding 10 according to the present invention extends in the lateral direction of the vehicle, has end portions with a narrowed width on both sides of the elongated molding 10, and the auxiliary support device 20 is prescribed to be mounted on the end portions with the narrowed width. In addition, a plurality of fixing points are provided inside the elongated molding 10 along the length direction thereof so as to be fixed to the body of the trunk lid 1 by screws 11 and snaps 12, respectively.
As shown in fig. 5, 6 and 7, the auxiliary supporting device 20 according to the present invention and its components are shown. The end portion of the elongated molding 10, which is narrowed in width according to the present invention, is provided with an auxiliary supporting means 20 at a middle portion between the fixing points of the fixing screw 11 and the grommet 12. The auxiliary supporting means 20 includes a base 23 integrally formed with the molding body, a supporting member 22 fixedly installed on the base, and a cushion 21 provided on the top of the supporting member 22, wherein spaced-apart engaging portions 231 and 232 are provided on the base 23, the supporting member 22 is plate-shaped and has tabs 221 and 222 extended from both sides thereof, respectively, one tab 221 is engaged with one engaging portion 231, and the other tab 22 is engaged with the other engaging portion 232, thereby fixing the supporting member to the base 23, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. One connector 221 is a plug connector and the other connector 222 is a snap connector. In other embodiments, the one and the other connectors may both be snap connectors. In addition, a protruding positioning pin 233 is further provided on the base 23, and a positioning hole 223 is provided on the support member 22, and the positioning pin 233 is engaged in the positioning hole 223 when the support member 22 is fixed to the base 22, as shown in fig. 5, thereby ensuring a correct mounting position of the support member 22. In addition, a plurality of protruding reinforcing ribs are further provided on the side surfaces of the plate-shaped support member 22 to increase the strength of the support member. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the cushion pad 21 is configured as a foam flexible member and is bonded on top of the support member 22. The foam cushion member 21 according to the present invention is directly supported on the recessed tail lamp bracket of the trunk lid, which can absorb the manufacturing dimensional error of the trunk lid body and reduce the noise between the trim 10 and the trunk lid.
Fig. 8 and 9A, 9B and 9C show views in which the support member 22 is fixed to the base 23, wherein one of the tabs 221 of the support member 22 is a plug-in tab and is inserted into a hole of one of the engaging portions 231 of the base, and the other tab 222 is a snap-in tab and is engaged with a hook of the engaging portion 232 of the base 23, as shown in fig. 9A. In addition, support member 22 has a projection 224 on the bottom, which projection 224 engages in a recess 234 in base 23, thereby ensuring that support member 22 is securely fixed to the base.
Fig. 10 to 12 show the installation process of the auxiliary fixture 20 according to the present invention, first inserting one tab 221 of the support member 22 into the hole of one engagement portion 231 of the base 23 as shown in fig. 10, and then snapping the other tab 222 of the support member 22 onto the other engagement portion 232 of the base 23 as shown in fig. 11, while allowing the positioning pin 233 of the base 23 to be inserted into the positioning hole 223 of the support member. Finally, as shown in fig. 12, the cushion pad 21 is bonded on top of the support member 22.
The elongated trim 10 of the trunk lid 1 according to the present invention is mounted to the trunk lid 1 of the vehicle such that the cushion pad of the auxiliary supporting means 20 is supported on the upper portion of the seat plate portion of the tail lamp of the trunk lid 1, thereby allowing firm support at both end portions of the elongated trim and avoiding quality problems such as the end portions being easily crushed and loosened.
While the invention has been shown and described with respect to the embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
Claims (10)
1. An auxiliary support device for a trim strip of a trunk lid of a vehicle, the trim strip extending in a lateral direction of the vehicle at a rear portion of the trunk lid and being fixed to a body of the trunk lid, the trim strip having an end portion narrowed in width, characterized in that the end portion extends above a tail lamp seating portion of the trunk lid and the end portion is fixed to the body of the trunk lid on both sides of the tail lamp seating portion, the auxiliary support device comprising:
a base integrally formed with the end portion,
a plate-like support member fixedly mounted on the base at the bottom, and
a cushion pad fixed to the top of the support member,
wherein the cushion pad is supported on the tail lamp base plate.

The auxiliary support device of claim 1, wherein the base includes first and second protruding engagement portions spaced apart from each other on both sides of the support member, respectively, and the support member is provided at both sides thereof with first and second joints, respectively, the first joint being connected to the first engagement portion and the second joint being connected to the second engagement portion.

The auxiliary support device of claim 2, wherein the first connector is a plug connector and the second connector is a snap connector, the first engagement portion being provided with a hole for engaging the plug connector and the second engagement portion being provided with a hook for connecting the snap connector.
4. The auxiliary support device of claim 2, wherein the first and second joints are snap joints, the first and second engagement portions being provided with hooks for connecting the snap joints.
5. The supplemental support apparatus according to any of claims 1-4, further comprising a positioning device disposed on the base and the support member.
6. The supplemental support apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the positioning means comprises a positioning pin provided on the base and a positioning hole provided on the support member.
7. An auxiliary support means as claimed in any of claims 1 to 4 wherein said cushioning pad is a foam pad bonded to the top of said support member.
8. Auxiliary support device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the plate-shaped support element is provided with protruding reinforcing ribs.
9. An auxiliary support device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein said support member further has a projection at the base which engages in a recess in said base.
10. A motor vehicle comprising an auxiliary support device for a trim panel of a trunk lid of a vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
