Fault analysis method and device for communication link
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for analyzing a fault of a communication link.
Background
With the rapid development of communication technology, the network scale is larger and larger, the number of network element devices in the network is larger and larger, and the connection relationship between the network element devices is more and more complex. Therefore, failure analysis is becoming more difficult. At present, in a network including a large number of network element devices, the network element devices may be managed centrally by network management devices. On one hand, the network management equipment issues data to each network element equipment so that the network element equipment executes a preset command. On the other hand, each network element device reports data to the network management device, so that the network management device can monitor and analyze each network element device according to the data of each network element device.
When the network element equipment fails or a link between the network element equipment fails, the network management equipment can acquire the failure condition and present the failure condition to maintenance personnel. After finding the fault, the maintainer can analyze the fault of each network element device and the link between any two network element devices one by one aiming at the communication link between the source network element device and the target network element device so as to analyze the fault network element device or link, further analyze whether the communication link between the source network element device and the target network element device is interrupted, and recover the fault network element device or link when the communication link is interrupted, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the service between the source network element device and the target network element device and ensuring the reliability of the network.
Because the maintenance personnel carry out fault analysis on each network element device and the link between any two network element devices one by one, the fault analysis is more and more difficult and the workload of manual work is very large along with the increase of the number of the network element devices and the complication of the connection relation between the network element devices. Moreover, it takes a long time to manually analyze the failure, and the service cannot be performed before the failure is recovered, thereby interrupting the service and affecting the user experience. Moreover, when the fault is manually analyzed, the fault may not be accurately analyzed, and an error conclusion is obtained.

In view of the problems in the prior art, the embodiment of the present invention provides a method for analyzing a failure of a communication link, which may be applied to a network (e.g., a communication network) including a network management device and a plurality of network element devices. The network management equipment issues data to each network element equipment so that each network element equipment executes a preset command, and each network element equipment reports the data to the network management equipment so that the network management equipment monitors and analyzes each network element equipment. In order to realize normal operation of a communication network, it is necessary to analyze whether a communication link between a source network element device and a destination network element device is interrupted, and perform fault recovery when the interruption occurs, thereby ensuring normal operation of a service between the source network element device and the destination network element device, and ensuring network reliability.
As shown in fig. 1, which is a schematic view of an application scenario of the embodiment of the present invention, a network management device is not shown in fig. 1, and the network management device is connected to each network element device. In fig. 1, each network element device includes a network element device R1, a network element device R2, a network element device R3, a network element device R4, a network element device R5, a network element device R6, a network element device R7, a network element device R8, a network element device R9, a network element device R10, a network element device R11, a network element device L1, a network element device L2, and a network element device L3, and the connection relationship thereof is shown in fig. 1.
In the application scenario, the method for analyzing the fault of the communication link may be applied to a network management device, as shown in fig. 2, and the method for analyzing the fault of the communication link may specifically include the following steps:
step 201, acquiring a network topology structure, and determining a chain object and a ring object by using the network topology structure.
For the process of acquiring the network topology structure, the network management device may maintain information of each network element device, and acquire a connection relationship between each network element device by collecting data of the communication network, for example, data sent to the network element device R2 based on the network element device R1, the network management device may analyze that the network element device R1 has a connection relationship with the network element device R2, and so on, the network topology structure shown in fig. 1, and the specific process of acquiring the network topology structure, which is not described in detail in the embodiment of the present invention.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the process of determining the chain object and the ring object by using the network topology may specifically include, but is not limited to, the following ways: step 1, analyzing all network element devices from a network topology structure, abstracting each network element device into a point object, and abstracting a link between two network element devices with a connection relationship into a line object. And 2, recording all point objects and all line objects in a pre-configured link object table. And 3, aiming at each point object, executing the following steps: step A, judging whether the link object table only corresponds to one line object; if yes, executing step B; step B, moving out the corresponding line object from the link object table, and judging whether another point object of the line object corresponds to only one line object in the link object table; if yes, returning to continue to execute the step B; if not, executing the step C; and step C, determining links formed by all the moved line objects as chain objects. And 4, determining a loop formed by the remaining line objects in the link object table as a loop object.
The determination of the chain objects and the ring objects is described below with reference to the application scenario shown in fig. 1.
In step 1, the network element device analyzed from the network topology specifically includes: the network element device R1, the network element device R2, the network element device R3, the network element device R4, the network element device R5, the network element device R6, the network element device R7, the network element device R8, the network element device R9, the network element device R10, the network element device R11, the network element device L1, the network element device L2, and the network element device L3, and each network element device is abstracted into point objects. The line object obtained based on the network topology specifically includes: a link between the line object 1-network element device L1 and the network element device R8, a link between the line object 2-network element device R8 and the network element device R9, a link between the line object 3-network element device R9 and the network element device R10, a link between the line object 4-network element device R10 and the network element device R1, a link between the line object 5-network element device R10 and the network element device R11, a link between the line object 6-network element device R11 and the network element device R4, a link between the line object 7-network element device R1 and the network element device R2, a link between the line object 8-network element device R2 and the network element device R3, a link between the line object 9-network element device R3 and the network element device R4, a link between the line object 10-network element device R4 and the network element device R5, a link between the line object 11-network element device R5 and the network element device R6, line object 12-link between network element device R6 and network element device R7, line object 13-link between network element device R7 and network element device R8, line object 14-link between network element device R7 and network element device L2, line object 15-link between network element device L2 and network element device L3.
In step 2, all point objects and all line objects are recorded in the link object table.
In step 3, for point objects (network element device R1, network element device R2, network element device R3, network element device R4, network element device R5, network element device R6, network element device R7, network element device R8, network element device R9, network element device R10, network element device R11, and network element device L2), at least two line objects are corresponding to the link object table, for example, network element device R1 corresponds to line object 4 and line object 7, and network element device R2 corresponds to line object 7 and line object 8. The processing of step 3 ends for these point objects.
For the point object (net element device L1), there is only one line object 1 in the link object table, and the line object 1 is removed from the link object table. Since the other point object (network element device R8) of the line object 1 corresponds to two line objects (line object 2, line object 13) in the link object table, the link composed of the removed line object 1 is determined as a chain object, i.e. the chain object includes the link between the network element device L1 and the network element device R8. For a point object (net element device L3), only one line object 15 is mapped in the link object table, and the line object 15 is removed from the link object table. Since the other point object (network element device L2) of the line object 15 corresponds to only one line object 14 in the link object table (the line object 14 only corresponds to after the line object 15 is removed), the line object 14 is removed from the link object table. Since another point object (the network element device R7) of the line object 14 corresponds to two line objects (the line object 12, the line object 13) in the link object table, the link composed of the moved line object 15 and the line object 14 is determined as a chain object, i.e., the chain object includes a link between the network element device L3 and the network element device L2, and a link between the network element device L2 and the network element device L7. To this end, a total of two chain objects are obtained, which are: link object 1-link between network element device L1 and network element device R8; link object 2-link between network element device L3 and network element device L2, link between network element device L2 and network element device L7.
In step 4, after removing line object 1, line object 14, and line object 15 from the link object table, the remaining line objects in the link object table include line object 2, line object 3, line object 4, line object 5, line object 6, line object 7, line object 8, line object 9, line object 10, line object 11, line object 12, and line object 13, and the loop formed by the remaining line objects in the link object table is determined as a loop object.
In order to obtain a loop formed by line objects, a certain point object (e.g. network element device R1) may be used as a starting point object, starting from a line object (e.g. line object 7) of the starting point object, another point object (e.g. network element device R2) of the line object (e.g. line object 7) is found first, and from a line object (e.g. line object 8) corresponding to another point object (e.g. network element device R2), another point object (e.g. network element device R3) of the line object (e.g. line object 8) is continuously found, and so on, after the starting point object is found, all line objects passing through in the finding process may be formed into a loop.
For example, when the network element device R1 is used as a starting point object, the line object 7, the line object 8, the line object 9, the line object 6, the line object 5, and the line object 4 form a loop. With the network element device R1 as the starting point object, the line object 7, the line object 8, the line object 9, the line object 10, the line object 11, the line object 12, the line object 13, the line object 2, the line object 3, and the line object 4 form a loop. With the network element device R10 as the starting point object, the line object 5, the line object 6, the line object 10, the line object 11, the line object 12, the line object 13, the line object 2, and the line object 3 form a loop. Of course, the above three examples are only examples of the starting point object, and the above three loops can be formed no matter which network element device is used as the starting point object, and only the three loops are included in the network topology shown in fig. 1.
Further, the three loops may be determined as corresponding three loop objects, such as the loop object 1 including: line object 7, line object 8, line object 9, line object 6, line object 5, line object 4. The ring object 2 includes: line object 7, line object 8, line object 9, line object 10, line object 11, line object 12, line object 13, line object 2, line object 3, line object 4. The ring object 3 includes: line object 5, line object 6, line object 10, line object 11, line object 12, line object 13, line object 2, line object 3. In addition, for the source network element device and the destination network element device, if the source network element device and the destination network element device are two network element devices on a ring object, for a communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device, each ring object is split into two ring objects, for example, the source network element device is network element device R10, and when the destination network element device is network element device R4, for a communication link between network element device R10 and network element device R4, the ring object 1 is split into a ring object 11 (line object 4, line object 7, line object 8, line object 9) and a ring object 12 (line object 5, line object 6), and for the splitting of other ring objects 2 and ring objects 3, the splitting manner is similar to that of the ring object 1, and details are not repeated here.
Of course, the determination method of the chain object and the ring object is only an example, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this determination method of the chain object and the ring object, and all the methods capable of determining the chain object 1, the chain object 2, the ring object 1, the ring object 2, and the ring object 3 are within the scope of the present invention.
Step 202, when the interrupt alarm is acquired, acquiring the position of the interrupt alarm.
Among them, the alarm types may include but are not limited to: the interruption alarm (indicating that there is a link interruption), the performance degradation alarm (indicating that there is a performance degradation of the network element device), and the like.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the process of acquiring the position where the interrupt type alarm occurs when the interrupt type alarm is acquired may specifically include, but is not limited to, the following ways: when receiving an interrupt alarm sent by two network element devices with a connection relation, acquiring a position where the interrupt alarm occurs as a loop link between the two network element devices; or, when receiving an interrupt-type alarm sent by two network element devices that do not have a connection relationship, acquiring that a position where the interrupt-type alarm occurs is a network element device between the two network element devices.
For example, when the network element device R7 fails, the network element device R6 cannot receive the data from the network element device R7, and sends an interrupt-type alarm to the network management device. In addition, when the network element device R7 fails, the network element device R8 cannot receive the data from the network element device R7, and sends an interrupt-type alarm to the network management device. Based on this, when the network management device receives the interrupt type alarm sent by the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 that do not have a connection relationship, the location where the interrupt type alarm occurs may be specifically: network element device 7 between network element device R6 and network element device R8.
For another example, when the loop link between the network element device R1 and the network element device R2 fails, the network element device R1 cannot receive the data from the network element device R2, and sends an interrupt-type alarm to the network management device. In addition, the network element device R2 will also be unable to receive the data from the network element device R1, and send an interrupt-type alarm to the network management device. Based on this, when the network management device receives the interrupt type alarm sent by the network element device R1 and the network element device R2 having a connection relationship, the location where the interrupt type alarm occurs may be specifically obtained as follows: a ring link between the network element device R1 and the network element device R2.
Of course, the above-mentioned manner of obtaining the position where the interrupt type alarm occurs is only an example, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this manner of obtaining the position where the interrupt type alarm occurs, and all the manners of obtaining the position where the interrupt type alarm occurs are within the protection scope of the present invention, and it is only necessary to obtain whether the interrupt type alarm occurs on the network element device or on the loop link between the network element devices.
Step 203, if the interrupt alarm occurs on the network element device, when the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device passes through the link object, it is determined whether the link object includes the network element device.
If so, step 204 is performed directly. If not, the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device can be determined, and the link object passed through is not interrupted.
Step 204, it is determined that the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device has been interrupted.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the interrupt type alarm occurs on the network element device and a communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device passes through the ring object, it is determined whether the ring object includes the network element device. If the network element device is not included, it can be determined that the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device has not been interrupted by the ring object. If the network element equipment is included, judging whether a communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment only corresponds to one ring object. And if only one ring object is corresponded, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the destination network element equipment is interrupted. If the ring objects correspond to a plurality of ring objects, when all the ring objects contain the network element equipment corresponding to the interrupt type alarm, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is interrupted; and when all the ring objects do not contain the network element equipment corresponding to the interrupt type alarm, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is not interrupted.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the interrupt-type alarm occurs on the loop link between the network element devices and the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device passes through the loop object, it is determined whether the loop object includes the loop link. If the ring link is not included, it can be determined that the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device has not been interrupted by the ring object. If the link is contained, judging whether the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment only corresponds to one ring object. And if only one ring object is corresponded, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the destination network element equipment is interrupted. If the ring objects correspond to a plurality of ring objects, when all the ring objects contain the ring links corresponding to the interrupt type alarms, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is interrupted; and when all the ring objects do not contain the ring links corresponding to the interrupt type alarms, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is not interrupted.
The following describes in detail the process of determining whether the communication link is interrupted or not in conjunction with a specific application scenario.
For example, assuming that the interrupt-type alarm occurs on the network element device R7, the source network element device is the network element device L3, and the destination network element device is the network element device R10, the communication link between the network element device L3 and the network element device R10 passes through the link object 2 (the link between the network element device L3 and the network element device L2, the link between the network element device L2 and the network element device L7). Therefore, it is determined whether the chain object 2 includes the network element device R7, and since the chain object 2 includes the network element device R7, it is determined that the communication link between the network element device L3 and the network element device R10 has been interrupted, and it is subsequently necessary to restore the communication link.
For example, assuming that the interrupt-type alarm occurs on the network element device R7, the source network element device is the network element device L1, and the destination network element device is the network element device R10, the communication link between the network element device L1 and the network element device R10 passes through the link object 1 (the link between the network element device L1 and the network element device R8). Therefore, it is determined whether the chain object 1 contains the network element device R7, and since the chain object 1 does not contain the network element device R7, it is determined that the communication link between the network element device L1 and the network element device R10 is not interrupted.
In summary, in the embodiment of the present invention, when a communication link between a source network element device and a destination network element device passes through a link object, if the link object includes a network element device corresponding to an interrupt-type alarm, the link object does not have a protection link because of limitations of a network structure, a chain network element, a topological connection, and the like, so that it can be directly determined that the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device has been interrupted.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the chain object comprises the network element equipment corresponding to the interrupt alarm, all communication links (communication links between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment) passing through the chain object can be directly determined to have faults, and whether each communication link has the fault is not required to be judged one by one, so that the faults of a batch of communication links can be quickly analyzed, and the fault analysis efficiency is improved.
For another example, assuming that the interrupt class alarm occurs at the network element device R7, the source network element device is the network element device R6, and the destination network element device is the network element device R8, the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 may pass through the ring object a (line object 12, line object 13), the ring object B (line object 11, line object 10, line object 9, line object 8, line object 7, line object 4, line object 3, line object 2), the ring object C (line object 11, line object 10, line object 6, line object 5, line object 3, line object 2). Since the ring object a contains the network element device R7 corresponding to the interrupt-type alarm and the ring objects B and C do not contain network element devices corresponding to the interrupt-type alarm, it can be determined that the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 is not interrupted. Assuming that the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 only passes through the ring object a, and not through the ring object B and the ring object C, it can be determined that the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 has been broken.
For another example, assuming that the interrupt-type alarm occurs on the ring link between the network element device R7 and the network element device R6, the source network element device is the network element device R6, and the destination network element device is the network element device R8, the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 may pass through the ring object a (line object 12, line object 13), the ring object B (line object 11, line object 10, line object 9, line object 8, line object 7, line object 4, line object 3, line object 2), the ring object C (line object 11, line object 10, line object 6, line object 5, line object 3, line object 2). Since the ring object a contains a ring link (a ring link between the network element device R7 and the network element device R6) corresponding to the interrupt-type alarm, while the ring object B and the ring object C do not contain a ring link corresponding to the interrupt-type alarm, it can be determined that the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 is not interrupted. Further, assuming that the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 only passes through the ring object a, and not the ring object B and the ring object C, it can be determined that the communication link between the network element device R6 and the network element device R8 has been broken.
To sum up, in the embodiments of the present invention, when a communication link between a source network element device and a destination network element device passes through a ring object, if the ring object includes a network element device/ring link corresponding to an interrupt-type alarm, because the ring object usually has a protection link due to limitations of a network structure, a chain-like network element, a topological connection, and the like, it is unable to directly determine whether the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device has been interrupted, and at this time, it is necessary to analyze one by one whether a plurality of ring objects (including a primary route and one or more standby routes) corresponding to the communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device all include the network element device/ring link corresponding to the interrupt-type alarm, and then determine whether the communication link has been interrupted.
Based on the technical scheme, in the embodiment of the invention, whether the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is interrupted or not can be determined by directly utilizing the network topology structure and the interruption type alarm without manually analyzing whether the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is interrupted or not by a maintenance personnel, so that the workload of manual analysis can be reduced, the time of fault analysis can be reduced, the service of a user can be recovered as soon as possible, the use experience of the user is improved, the fault can be accurately analyzed, and the wrong conclusion can be avoided. Moreover, as long as the chain object contains the network element equipment corresponding to the interrupt alarm, it can be analyzed that all communication links (communication links between the source network element equipment and the destination network element equipment) passing through the chain object are interrupted, so that faults of a batch of communication links are quickly analyzed, the fault analysis efficiency is improved, and the pressure of fault analysis on the system is reduced. Moreover, the fault analysis can be performed more specifically, only the communication link which is likely to generate the fault is analyzed, the analysis precision is improved, and the fault analysis time after the network element equipment interrupts the alarm can be saved.
Based on the same inventive concept as the method, the embodiment of the invention also provides a fault analysis device of the communication link, and the fault analysis device of the communication link is applied to network management equipment. The fault analysis device of the communication link may be implemented by software, or may be implemented by hardware or a combination of hardware and software. Taking a software implementation as an example, as a device in a logical sense, the device is formed by reading a corresponding computer program instruction in a nonvolatile memory through a processor of the network management device where the device is located. From a hardware aspect, as shown in fig. 3, a hardware structure diagram of a network management device in which a fault analysis device of a communication link according to the present invention is located is shown, where the network management device may further include other hardware, such as a forwarding chip, a network interface, and a memory, which are responsible for processing a packet, in addition to the processor and the nonvolatile memory shown in fig. 3; in terms of hardware structure, the network management device may also be a distributed device, and may include multiple interface cards, so as to perform extension of message processing on a hardware layer.

The processing module 13 is further configured to determine whether the ring object includes the ring link when the interrupt-type alarm occurs on the ring link between the network element devices and a communication link between the source network element device and the destination network element device passes through the ring object; if the ring link is included, judging whether the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment only corresponds to one ring object; if only one ring object is corresponded, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is interrupted; if the ring objects correspond to a plurality of ring objects, when all the ring objects contain a ring link corresponding to an interrupt alarm, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is interrupted; and when all the ring objects do not contain the ring link corresponding to the interrupt type alarm, determining that the communication link between the source network element equipment and the target network element equipment is not interrupted.
The determining module 12 is specifically configured to, in the process of determining a chain object and a ring object by using the network topology, analyze all network element devices from the network topology, abstract each network element device into a point object, and abstract a link between two network element devices having a connection relationship into a line object; recording all point objects and all line objects in a pre-configured link object table;
for each point object, the following procedure is performed: A. judging whether the link object table only corresponds to one line object; if yes, executing B; B. removing the corresponding line object from the link object table, and judging whether another point object of the line object corresponds to only one line object in the link object table; if yes, returning to continue executing B; if not, executing C; C. determining links formed by all the moved line objects as chain objects;
and determining a loop formed by the remaining line objects in the link object table as a loop object.
The obtaining module 11 is specifically configured to, in a process of obtaining a position where an interrupt type alarm occurs when the interrupt type alarm is obtained, and when an interrupt type alarm sent by two network element devices having a connection relationship is received, obtain a position where the interrupt type alarm occurs as a loop link between the two network element devices; or, when receiving an interrupt-type alarm sent by two network element devices that do not have a connection relationship, acquiring a position where the interrupt-type alarm occurs as a network element device between the two network element devices.
