Abstract
The invention discloses a metal square head forming device of a coaxial cable connector. The forming collet 5 is made of hardened steel.
In use, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, when a metal strip is fed from a feeder to between the forming chucks 5, the driving cylinder 2 is actuated and the pair of driving arms 3 and the fixed arms 4 are moved synchronously relative to each other. Meanwhile, the pair of forming chucks 5 move relatively, the extruding square columns 52 of the forming chucks 5 extrude two sides of the metal strip simultaneously to form a hollow square head, and meanwhile, the lifting flanges 53 are inserted below the formed square head, so that the extruded metal square head is separated from a machine plate below the square head in an express way, meanwhile, the seam at the bottom of the square head is perfectly aligned, the quality of the metal square head of the coaxial cable connector is greatly improved, and burrs at the bottom of the square head are greatly reduced. The metal square head forming device 1 of the coaxial cable connector is simple in structure, obvious in effect and high in practicability.
