the comparison unit is used for comparing the first fingerprint information with preset fingerprint information corresponding to the fingerprint identification module which collects the first fingerprint information;
the starting unit is used for starting an application corresponding to the preset fingerprint information when the first fingerprint information is matched with the preset fingerprint information corresponding to the fingerprint identification module which collects the first fingerprint information;
the starting unit includes:
the searching subunit is used for searching for the application corresponding to the preset fingerprint information through a preset configuration table when the first fingerprint information is matched with the preset fingerprint information corresponding to the fingerprint identification module which collects the first fingerprint information;
the judging subunit is used for judging whether the searched application needs to be subjected to password authentication;
the acquisition subunit is used for acquiring second fingerprint information of the user through the fingerprint identification module when the searched application needs to be subjected to password verification;
the starting sub-unit is used for starting the searched application when the second fingerprint information is matched with the fingerprint information corresponding to the searched application;
the starting unit further includes: the display subunit is configured to display prompt information in a display area of the electronic device when the found application needs password verification, where the prompt information is used to prompt a user to input fingerprint information corresponding to the found application;
the fingerprint identification module for collecting the first fingerprint information and the fingerprint identification module for collecting the second fingerprint information are the same fingerprint identification module;
or the fingerprint identification module for collecting the first fingerprint information and the fingerprint identification module for collecting the second fingerprint information are two different fingerprint identification modules.
4. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein the activation unit is configured to: and when the first fingerprint information is matched with preset fingerprint information corresponding to a fingerprint identification module for collecting the first fingerprint information, searching an application corresponding to the preset fingerprint information through a preset configuration table, and starting the searched application.
