Description

Indoor positioning method based on double clustering of received signal strength and reference point position
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and further relates to the field of indoor positioning, which can be used for covering an indoor environment of Wi-Fi signals to complete positioning of a current position.
Background
Currently, with the development of wireless networks and the wide deployment of wireless local area networks, wi-Fi-based indoor positioning technology is receiving wide attention. Under the indoor environment covering the Wi-Fi network, the position of the mobile user is determined by measuring the received signal strength RSS from the access point APs and combining with the acquired signal strength database for solving. The positioning algorithm based on the position fingerprints is widely applied due to the advantages of high positioning precision, capability of fully utilizing the existing facilities, small influence of upgrading and maintenance on users and the like. In order to improve the positioning accuracy and efficiency, the acquired position fingerprint data needs to be preprocessed. The commonly used preprocessing method is to perform clustering operation on the reference points RPs to obtain a plurality of clustering centers and class members thereof.
The existing clustering methods with more applications comprise two methods, namely K-means clustering and attractor propagation clustering. The K-means algorithm randomly selects initial representative clustering centers of K objects, assigns the initial representative clustering centers to the nearest class for each remaining object according to the distance between the initial representative clustering centers and each clustering center, and then recalculates the center of each class to serve as the clustering center of the next iteration. This process is repeated until the cluster centers no longer change. Compared with the K-means algorithm, the attractor propagation clustering algorithm does not need to initialize a clustering center, and each reference point is used as a potential clustering center by setting a real value. Then, the two reference points mutually transmit neighbor information, and the reference points select which reference point to use as a cluster center according to the neighbor information until the cluster center and the related class are generated. However, due to the influence of external factors such as the layout of access points, the building structure, and the walking of people, similar RSS may exist in reference points that are far away, which leads to the same cluster during clustering, or the RSS may be collected and disturbed, which leads to a larger error in RSS of some reference points, which may be attributed to an improper cluster during clustering. Directly leading to a decrease in positioning accuracy.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to provide an indoor positioning method based on received signal strength clustering and reference point position clustering to improve indoor positioning accuracy.
The technical idea for realizing the invention is as follows: the reference points are effectively clustered by adopting a dual-clustering technology of received signal strength clustering and reference point position clustering to form a certain number of clustering centers and class members thereof, so that the calculated amount in the positioning stage is reduced, and the positioning accuracy is improved. The implementation scheme is as follows:
1) An off-line stage:
1a) Selecting an area provided with Wi-Fi access points APs;
1b) N reference points R are selected in this regionPs and measuring the received signal strength RSS from surrounding access points received in four directions by the N reference points, storing it to a database beta (o) Performing the following steps;
1c) Performing first clustering on all reference points RPs according to the received signal strength RSS by adopting an attractor propagation algorithm AP;
1d) Performing secondary clustering on each cluster obtained by the primary clustering by adopting an attractor propagation algorithm AP according to the geographic position;
1e) Judging the number of clusters of the second clustering: if the number of clusters obtained by the second clustering is a positive integer which is more than or equal to 2, the distance between every two clusters is calculated, the clusters with the distance less than 4 meters are combined into one cluster, the clustering result is recorded into a database, otherwise, the clustering result is directly recorded into the database, and the construction of the fingerprint database is completed;
2) An online stage:
2a) Measuring received signal strength RSS vectors from the surrounding L access points APs at the point to be located:
χ r =[χ 1,r ,...,χ k,r ,...,χ L,r ] T
wherein { χ k,r K =1, 2.. -, L } is data from the kth access point APs acquired by the mobile device in either direction;
2b) Coarse positioning:
calculating the RSS vector x of the received signal strength of the point to be positioned r Similarity with the received signal strength RSS vector of the cluster center of each cluster in the fingerprint database, the similarity being defined as:
whereinThe received signal strength RSS vector in the direction o for the cluster center of the jth cluster, H is the set of cluster centers of all clusters, o = {0 °,90 °,180 °,270°};
Setting a threshold value:wherein alpha is 12 =1;
Similarity s (r, j) (o) The cluster larger than the threshold value alpha is used as a cluster for coarse positioning matching;
2c) And (3) accurate positioning: randomly selecting 8 access points APs, utilizing the 8 access points APs and the cluster member received signal strength RSS obtained by coarse positioning matching, and calculating the accurate position of the point to be positioned through a compressed sensing algorithm to complete the positioning of the point to be positioned.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
firstly, because the invention adopts the double clustering technology of received signal strength clustering and reference point position clustering, and the members with the geographical position far away from other cluster members in the original cluster are independently divided into a cluster, the condition that the reference points with the geographical position far away but with received signal strength RSS close to each other are clustered into the same cluster is avoided;
secondly, because the invention adopts the double clustering technology of the received signal strength clustering and the reference point position clustering, and the clusters which should not be disassembled are combined into one cluster, the integrity of the original cluster can be ensured while the singular point processing is completed, thereby achieving better clustering effect.
