Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1-4, an adjustable forceps comprises a first handle 5 and a second handle 9, the first handle 5 is provided with a first clamping portion 2 at the front end, the second handle 9 is provided with a second clamping portion 1 at the front end, the first clamping portion 2 and the second clamping portion 1 form a jaw, the first handle and the second handle are arranged in an intersecting manner and are relatively fixed through a connecting mechanism, wherein the second handle is provided with an elongated tooth socket 91 at the connecting mechanism position, the inner side of the tooth socket 91 is provided with a toothed belt 92, the connecting mechanism comprises a tooth block 3 which is arranged in the tooth socket 91 and is meshed with the toothed belt 92 distributed on the tooth socket 91 and a linkage mechanism connected with the tooth block, the linkage mechanism drives the tooth block 3 to rotate and is separated from being meshed with the tooth socket 91, so that the first handle 5 can move along the tooth socket 91 relative to the second handle 9 along with the movement of the connecting mechanism to change the size of the jaw, wherein teeth on the toothed belt are unidirectional teeth, i.e. the teeth are each inclined diagonally in one direction, as shown in figure 1 by the arrow in the gullet. Therefore, when the tooth is stressed in the opposite direction of inclination, namely in the opposite direction of an arrow, the tooth belt and the tooth block are separated by a barb to ensure that the tooth block can slide in the tooth groove under the action of external force. And in the direction that the tooth inclines, in the arrow direction, the cingulum can push the tooth piece and overcome the elastic force and break away from the tooth on the cingulum automatically, does not need the intervention of external force to realize one-way quick slip.
Specifically, the one-way ratchet means that the teeth of the toothed belt extend from the groove edge to a direction obliquely upward, such as an arrow in the tooth socket in fig. 1, when the jaw needs to be enlarged, that is, when the first handle is pulled downward from the uppermost position of the tooth socket (i.e., moved in the direction opposite to the arrow), the engagement between the tooth block and the toothed belt needs to be removed by the trigger element, and when the first handle is pulled upward from the lower position of the tooth socket (i.e., moved in the direction of the arrow), the tooth block can move freely along the tooth socket even if the tooth block and the toothed belt are in the engaged state due to the one-way ratchet. Thus, when the jaws are opened, the article is placed into the jaws, and then the jaws are conveniently reduced to a state of just holding the article.
The adjustable clamp may be a water pump clamp, a pipe clamp or other clamps. Wherein two clamping parts are all set to hook-like to the inboard side is provided with the tooth, makes things convenient for centre gripping and interlock. The first clamping part and the first handle are integrally formed or connected together through a connecting means, and the second clamping part and the second handle are integrally formed or connected together through a connecting means.

The first handle 5 has a first through hole at the position of the pivot, the pivot is cylindrical and has a circular cross section, the pivot passes through the first through hole and continues to pass through the tooth socket of the second handle 9, and the first handle 5 and the second handle 9 are relatively fixed.
More specifically, the first handle has a lateral hole in the lateral wall at the connection means, through which a corresponding position of the second handle can be received, forming a first portion of the first handle, located at the upper part of the second handle, and a second portion of the first handle, located at the lower part of the second handle. The hub shaft extends through a first portion of the first handle and then through the gullet of the second handle and then through a second portion of the first handle. The tooth block is positioned inside the tooth socket of the second handle and is meshed with the tooth socket.
One side of the tooth block is provided with teeth which can be meshed with the toothed belt, and the other opposite side is provided with a fixing part and an elastic part, wherein the elastic part is connected to the fixing part and is abutted against the second handle. In particular, the fixed part may be a spring hole, and the elastic element, in particular the second spring 8, is arranged in the spring hole, abutting against the second handle. Thus, after the trigger element is released, the teeth of the toothed block can be restored to the meshed state with the teeth on the toothed belt due to the action of the second spring, so that the gear can be normally used.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1-4, the pivot 11 has a spiral second groove 12 on its outer side, on which a guide pin 31 is disposed, and the other end of the guide pin extends into the inside of the tooth block from its side, and the trigger mechanism 4 further includes a trigger switch 41, when the trigger switch generates a downward force, the guide pin 31 rotates along the spiral second groove 12, so as to drive the tooth block 3 to rotate, thereby disengaging the tooth block from the tooth socket, and enabling the first handle to move along the tooth socket relative to the second handle.
The trigger mechanism further comprises a toothed ring 42 with internal teeth fixedly arranged in an outer recess of the first part of the first handle and a first spring 43 arranged below the trigger switch and in the toothed ring, and the first spring 43 is arranged in an outer recess of the first part of the first handle, and the trigger switch has external teeth engageable with the internal teeth of the toothed ring. Under the normal condition, trigger switch and ring gear are the detached state, and under the effect of first spring, trigger switch is by first spring jack-up, and trigger switch's external tooth separates with the internal tooth of ring gear, after pushing down trigger switch, during trigger switch's external tooth got into the internal tooth of ring gear, because the ring gear is fixed, so after the internal tooth of ring gear and trigger switch's external tooth interlock, trigger switch stall, pilot pin 31 produced the rotation along spiral second recess 12, thereby the drive tooth piece 3 rotates. The inner diameter of the first spring is gradually reduced from the bottom to the direction of the trigger switch, the bottom is arranged in a toothed ring 42 with internal teeth, which is concave on the outer side of the first part of the first handle, and the top is contacted with the bottom of the trigger element.
The pivot axis has a smaller head on the trigger element outside the first portion of the first handle above the second handle so that it can be fixed inside the trigger element outside the first handle. While the other end, outside the second portion of the first handle, is fixed to the other end of the pivot by a fixing element 10. The other end of the pivot may be a screw thread and the fixing element 10 is a nut, the pivot being fixed by rotating the screw thread to the nut.
