Fig. 1 is a flow chart illustrating a headspace setting method according to an example embodiment. The reserved space setting method is used in a terminal, and the terminal can be an intelligent terminal such as a smart phone, a tablet computer or an electronic book reader and the like which can be provided with third-party software. As shown in fig. 1, the reserved space setting method may include the following steps.
In step 102, acquiring software installation information and storage space residual information in a terminal; the software installation information is used for indicating the space capacity occupied by each installed software in the terminal; the storage space remaining information is used for indicating the remaining space capacity P of the software default installation partition1Or, the storage space remaining information is used for indicating the remaining space capacity P of the software default installation partition1And the remaining space capacity P of the non-software default installation partition2
In step 104, a reserved space is set according to the software installation information and the storage space remaining information, wherein the reserved space is a space reserved for the terminal to use when updating each installed software.
In the method shown in the embodiment of the disclosure, a space for updating is reserved for the installed software according to the space capacity occupied by the installed software in the terminal and the remaining space capacity of the storage space in the terminal, so that the problem of update failure caused by insufficient remaining capacity for storing the latest version software program of the currently updated software due to excessive use of the capacity in the software default installation partition is avoided, and the user experience can be remarkably improved.
In summary, according to the reserved space setting method provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, by acquiring the software installation information and the storage space remaining information in the terminal, and setting the reserved space according to the software installation information and the storage space remaining information, the reserved space is a space reserved for the terminal to be used when each installed software is updated, so as to avoid a problem of update failure caused by insufficient remaining capacity to store the latest version software program of the currently updated software due to excessive use of capacity in the software default installation partition, and achieve an effect of improving user experience.
In the reserved space setting method shown in fig. 1, the reserved space may be set in the software default installation partition, or may be set in the non-software default installation partition. The following examples of the present disclosure will be illustrated in these two cases, respectively.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a reserved space setting method according to another exemplary embodiment. The reserved space setting method is used in a terminal, and the terminal can be an intelligent terminal such as a smart phone, a tablet computer or an electronic book reader and the like which can be provided with third-party software. As shown in fig. 2, the reserved space setting method may include the following steps.
In step 202, acquiring software installation information and storage space residual information in the terminal; the software installation information is used for indicating the space capacity occupied by each installed software in the terminal; the storage space remaining information is used for indicating the remaining space capacity P of the software default installation partition1
Taking the android system as an example, the terminal carrying the android system defaults to place all software installation and update under the software default installation partition/data partition, and the/data partition is set when the terminal leaves a factory, so that a user cannot expand the software default installation partition/data partition.
In the method shown in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal may obtain the space capacity occupied by each installed software and the remaining space capacity of the software default installation partition/data partition.
In step 204, P is detected1Whether or not it is greater than the maximum value P of the respective occupied space capacity of the respective installed softwaremax
The terminal can find out the maximum value P from the space capacity occupied by each installed softwaremaxAnd detecting whether the residual space capacity of the/data partition is larger than the maximum value Pmax
In step 206, if the detected result is P1Greater than PmaxDividing the residual space of the default installation partition of the software into P capacity3Space (A) ofFor the reserved space, Pmax<P3≤P1
When the terminal detects that the residual space capacity of the data partition is larger than the maximum value PmaxIn order to ensure that each installed software can be updated successfully, the reserved space needs to be larger than the maximum value Pmax
In step 208, if the detected result is P1Is less than or equal to PmaxAnd displaying first prompt information, wherein the first prompt information is used for prompting to delete the installed part of the software in the software default installation partition.
When the terminal detects that the residual space capacity of the data partition is less than or equal to the maximum value PmaxIn this case, the terminal may display a first prompt message to the user, where the first prompt message is used to prompt the user to delete part of the software that is not used in the data partition, so as to allocate a reserved space for vacating a part of the space.
In step 210, upon receiving an instruction to install new software, the space capacity P occupied by the new software is obtained4
After the terminal successfully sets the reserved space, when installing new software, in order to avoid the newly installed software occupying the space capacity of the reserved space, before installing, the space capacity required to be occupied by the software program of the new software is firstly acquired.
In step 212, P is detected4Whether or not greater than P1-Pmax(ii) a If the detection result is P4Greater than P1-PmaxAnd displaying second prompt information, wherein the second prompt information is used for prompting that the software default installation partition space is insufficient.
The terminal detects whether the space capacity occupied by the software program of the new software is larger than the space capacity left after the reserved space is set in the data partition, if so, the terminal indicates that the space capacity of the reserved space is occupied by installing the new software, and other installed software is possibly failed to update.
Optionally, the terminal may further obtain a use frequency of each software installed in the/data partition, determine the uncommon software in the/data partition according to the use frequency of each software, and display a list of the uncommon software to the user, so that the user deletes part or all of the uncommon software according to the list of the uncommon software.
Taking a terminal as a smart phone carrying an android system as an example, the smart phone firstly obtains the space capacity P occupied by the software program A with the largest space capacity in all the installed software programsmaxAnd remaining capacity P of/data partition in smartphone1. Smartphone comparison PmaxAnd P1The magnitude relationship between them. If Pmax≥P1If the software program A is not updated, the residual capacity in the data partition is not enough to support the updating of the software program A, and at the moment, the smart phone displays prompt information to a user to prompt the user that the space of the data partition is not enough and the software in the data partition is required to be deleted or removed from the data partition; optionally, the smart phone can also display which software in the/data partition is the uncommon software according to the/data, and display the names of the uncommon software to the user, so that the user can selectively uninstall part of the software; the smart phone continues to compare P after the user unloads one or more pieces of unusual software in the data partitionmaxAnd P1The magnitude relationship between them. If Pmax<P1Then, the remaining capacity in the/data partition is enough to support the update of the software program A, and at this time, the smart phone can be in the/data partitionDividing the residual space into P capacitymaxThe space of the data partition is used as a reserved space for updating the space used by each software installed in the data partition, so that each software installed in the data partition can be successfully updated. When a user subsequently installs a new software program B in the smart phone, the smart phone firstly detects the space capacity P occupied by the new software program B4Comparison of P4And P1-PmaxIf P is the magnitude of4>P1-PmaxThe situation that the residual space of the/data partition is lower than the reserved space due to the installation of the software program B and the updating of the installed software is influenced is shown, at the moment, the smart phone can prompt a user to delete the software which is not commonly used in the/data partition, or the software program B is installed in other partitions; if P4≤P1-PmaxThe software program B can be normally installed in the/data partition by indicating that the installation of the software program B does not cause the residual space of the/data partition to be lower than the reserved space.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a reserved space setting method according to still another exemplary embodiment. The reserved space setting method is used in a terminal, and the terminal can be an intelligent terminal such as a smart phone, a tablet computer or an electronic book reader and the like which can be provided with third-party software. As shown in fig. 3, the reserved space setting method may include the following steps.
In step 302, acquiring software installation information and storage space residual information in the terminal; theThe software installation information is used for indicating the space capacity occupied by each installed software in the terminal; the storage space remaining information is used for indicating the remaining space capacity P of the software default installation partition1And the remaining space capacity P of the non-software default installation partition2
Taking the android system as an example, the terminal carrying the android system defaults to place all software installation and update under the software default installation partition/data partition, and the/data partition is set when the terminal leaves a factory, so that a user cannot expand the software default installation partition/data partition. The other partitions in the memory space of the terminal, besides the/data partition, may be referred to as non-software default installed partitions, such as the/sdcard partition in the android system.
In the method shown in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal may obtain the space capacity occupied by each installed software, the remaining space capacity of the software default installation partition/data partition, and the remaining space capacity of the non-software default installation partition.
In step 304, P is detected2Whether or not greater than P1And is greater than the maximum value P of the space capacity occupied by each installed softwaremax
The terminal can find out the maximum value P from the space capacity occupied by each installed softwaremaxAnd detecting whether the residual space capacity of the non-software default installation partition is larger than the residual space capacity P of the data partition1Is also greater than the maximum value Pmax
In step 306, if the detected result is P2Greater than P1And is greater than PmaxDividing the residual space of the non-software default installation partition into a capacity P5Is the reserved space, Pmax<P5≤P2
When the terminal detects whether the residual space capacity of the non-software default installation partition is larger than the residual space capacity P of the data partition or not1Is also greater than the maximum value PmaxIn the same way, in order to ensure that each installed software can be successfully updated, the reserved space needs to be larger than the maximum value Pmax
In step 308, if the detected result is P2Is less than or equal to P1Or PmaxAnd displaying second prompt information, wherein the second prompt information is used for prompting deletion of part of data in the non-software default installation partition.
When the residual capacity of the non-software default installation partition is less than or equal to the residual space capacity of the/data partition or the maximum value PmaxIn any case, even if all the remaining space in the non-software-default installation partition is set as the reserved space, a failure of updating the software with a large occupied capacity may also be caused, at this time, the terminal may display a second prompt message to the user, where the second prompt message is used to prompt the user to delete part of the data that is not used frequently or the garbage data in the non-software-default installation partition, so as to allocate a part of the space as the reserved space.
In step 310, upon receiving an update to a specific software program in the installed software, detecting a space capacity P occupied by a latest version software program of the specific software program6Whether or not P is greater than or equal to1
When a terminal installs or updates software, the speed of installing or updating the software in the/data partition is usually much higher than the speed of installing or updating the software in the non-software default installation partition, in order to ensure the software updating speed, after a reserved space is set in the non-software default installation partition, when the specified software is updated, whether the residual space capacity in the/data partition is enough for updating the specified software is firstly detected, namely the space capacity occupied by the latest version software program of the specified software is compared with the residual space capacity in the/data partition. If the space capacity occupied by the latest version software program of the specified software is larger than or equal to the residual space capacity in the/data partition, the residual space capacity in the/data partition is not enough to support the updating of the specified software; if the space capacity occupied by the latest version software program of the specified software is smaller than the residual space capacity in the/data partition, the residual space capacity in the/data partition can support the update of the specified software.
In step 312, if the detected result is P6Greater than or equal to P1Installing the latest version software program of the specified software in the non-software default installation partition; deleting the old version software program of the specified software installed in the software default installation partition; the latest version of the software program of the specified software is copied into the software default installation partition.
When the space capacity occupied by the latest version of the software program of the specified software is greater than or equal to the residual space capacity in the/data partition, and the residual space capacity in the/data partition is not enough to support the update of the specified software, the update of the specified software can be performed by means of the residual space in the non-software default installation partition. The latest version software program of the specified software is firstly installed in the non-software default installation partition, and after the old version software program of the specified software installed in the software default installation partition is deleted, the latest version software program of the specified software is copied to the software default installation partition.
In step 314, if the detected result is P6Less than P1Then the latest version of the software program of the specified software is installed in the software default installation partition and the old version of the software program of the specified software is deleted.
When the space capacity occupied by the latest version software program of the specified software is smaller than the residual space capacity in the/data partition, the residual space capacity in the/data partition can support the updating of the specified software, and the specified software can be directly updated in the/data partition at the moment, namely, the latest version software program of the specified software is installed in the software default installation partition, and then the old version software program of the specified software is deleted, so that the updating speed of the software is ensured.
Taking a terminal as a smart phone carrying an android system and a non-software default installation partition as a sdcard partition as an example, the smart phone firstly acquires the space capacity P occupied by the software program A with the largest space capacity in all software programs installed on the smart phonemaxResidual capacity P of data partition1And/remaining capacity P of sdcard partition2. Smartphone respective comparison PmaxAnd P2And P1And P2The magnitude relationship between them. If Pmax≥P2Then, it indicates that the remaining capacity in the/sdcard partition is not sufficient to support the update of software program a; if P1≥P2Because the total capacity of the/sdcard partition is usually much larger than that of the/data partition, when the remaining capacity of the/data partition is larger than that of the/sdcard partition, on one hand, software updating is more suitable for being performed in the/data partition with larger remaining space, and on the other hand, the remaining space in the/sdcard partition is about to be exhausted, and at the moment, the smart phone can remind a user of clearing away the infrequent data or the garbage data in the/sdcard partition; if Pmax<P2And P is1<P2If the capacity of the smartphone is not equal to the capacity of the sdcard partition, the smartphone is divided into the sdcard partition according to the capacity of the sdcard partition, and the capacity of the smartphone is PmaxThe space of (2) is used as a reserved space. When the designated software is updated subsequently, the smart phone firstly detects whether the space occupied by the latest version software program of the designated software is larger than or equal to the residual space of the/data partition, if so, the latest version software program of the designated software is installed in the/sdcard partition, and after the old version software program of the designated software installed in the/data partition is deleted, the latest version software program is copied to the/data partition; otherwise, the latest version software program is directly installed in the/data partition, and the old version software program installed in the/data partition is deleted.
