Detailed Description
The inventor finds that when the electronic equipment resides in a cell which is not completely built and initiates registration, the electronic equipment cannot carry out services when the registration fails; the inventor also finds that if the electronic device can determine the history information of registration in the cell of the first system by combining the history information of registration initiated to the searched first cell (the first cell system is set as the first system), if it is determined that the registration in the first indicated cell has not been successful, it indicates that the current cell of the first system is not completely constructed, and then the registration initiated to the cell of the first system can be subsequently avoided, so as to ensure the continuity of service provided by the electronic device, and improve user experience.
The invention is described in further detail below with reference to the figures and specific examples.
Example one
The embodiment describes an information processing method, which is applied to an electronic device (also referred to as a mobile terminal) such as a smart phone and a tablet computer, wherein the electronic device supports storing first information, and the first information includes history information of initiating registration to a searched cell by the electronic device;
here, the search by the electronic device includes the following scenarios: 1) cell selection, that is, when an electronic device is powered on and turned on or enters a signal coverage area from a signal blind area, a cell is selected (for example, selected based on an S criterion) from a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) to camp on; 2) cell reselection, i.e., when the electronic device is in idle mode, reselecting (e.g., selecting based on R criteria) a best cell for camping on; 3) cell switching, which means that when the electronic device moves out of the current resident cell, the electronic device switches to a selected target cell in order to keep the ongoing communication uninterrupted;
here, the electronic device initiating registration includes the following processes: 1) the electronic equipment carries out a random access process; 2) the electronic device establishes Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a base station to which the selected cell (taking the first cell as an example) belongs; 3) the electronic equipment carries out an Attach (Attach) process, and a Mobility Management Entity (MME) establishes a default bearer for the electronic equipment; the specific implementation process may refer to related protocols, which are not described herein in detail.
As an example, the electronic device may locally store the first information in the form of a "PLMN-system-cell number-registration state-timestamp" list, for example, if the electronic device successfully registers in a unicom Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) cell 29056, a corresponding entry in the first information is "46001-WCDMA-29056-registration success-201408281000".
When the electronic device fails to initiate registration to the first cell in the first system, as shown in fig. 1, the information processing method described in this embodiment includes the following steps:
step 101, retrieving the first information.
Step 102, judging whether the electronic equipment is successfully registered in the cell of the first system, if not, executing step 103; if so, the process is stopped.
Step 103, allocating forbidden cell identification for the first cell in the first information.
And 104, searching the cell of the second standard when searching the cell again.
The re-search means that before step 101, because the registration initiated to the first cell fails, the cell needs to be re-searched, and a target cell is selected to camp in the searched cell to initiate the registration to the target cell, and the processing of the registration has been described previously, and is not described herein again; moreover, when the electronic device re-searches the cell, the electronic device searches for the cell of the second system (different from the first system), that is, the cell of the first system is not included in the search range, so as to avoid the situation of registration failure.
The execution sequence of step 103 and step 104 is not sequential, and is the processing when the judgment result of step 102 is negative.
The above steps are explained below with reference to examples: taking the first standard as LTE as an example, when an electronic device searches for a first cell of the first standard in a physical area a (the cell ID is 29023, that is, the physical area a belongs to a coverage area of the first cell), and when initiating a registration failure to the first cell, retrieves first information to check whether the cell is successfully registered in the LTE cell, and if the cell is not successfully registered in the LTE cell, it indicates that the construction of the cell of the LTE standard is not complete, so that when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a, the first standard capability (that is, the LTE capability) is removed, and then when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a, the cell of the second standard is searched (that is, the cell of the first standard is not included in the search area); the problems that the electronic equipment cannot develop services and the user experience is influenced due to the fact that the registration is initiated unsuccessfully are solved; meanwhile, the electronic device further allocates a forbidden cell identifier for the first cell in the first information, which is as follows: 46001-LTE-29023-barring to update the first information.
In this embodiment, when the registration of the first cell of the first standard fails, the registration success rate of the first standard cell is low when the registration of the first cell of the first standard is determined by combining the history information of initiating the registration to the cell, and therefore, the first standard cell is not included in the search range when the registration is initiated again in the subsequent cell search, which can improve the registration success rate, avoid the problem that the service cannot be provided when the electronic device resides in a part of cells, and improve the user experience.
Example two
The embodiment describes an information processing method, which is applied to an electronic device (also referred to as a mobile terminal) such as a smart phone and a tablet computer, wherein the electronic device supports storing first information, and the first information includes history information of initiating registration to a searched cell by the electronic device;
here, the search by the electronic device includes the following scenarios: 1) cell selection, namely, when the electronic device is powered on and started up or enters a signal coverage area from a signal blind area, selecting (for example, selecting based on an S criterion) a cell in the PLMN to camp on; 2) cell reselection, i.e., when the electronic device is in idle mode, reselecting (e.g., selecting based on R criteria) a best cell for camping on; 3) cell switching, which means that when the electronic device moves out of the current resident cell, the electronic device switches to a selected target cell in order to keep the ongoing communication uninterrupted;
here, the electronic device initiating registration includes the following processes: 1) the electronic equipment carries out a random access process; 2) the electronic equipment establishes an RRC connection with a base station to which the selected cell (taking the first cell as an example) belongs; 3) the electronic equipment carries out an Attach (Attach) process so that an MME (mobility management entity) establishes a default bearer for the electronic equipment; the specific implementation process may refer to related protocols, which are not described herein in detail.
As an example, the electronic device may locally store the first information in the form of a "PLMN-system-cell number-registration state-timestamp" list, for example, if the electronic device has successfully registered in the WCDMA cell 29056, a corresponding entry in the first information is "46001-WCDMA-29056-registration success-201408281005".
When the electronic device fails to initiate registration to the first cell in the first system, as shown in fig. 2, the information processing method described in this embodiment includes the following steps:
step 201, retrieving the first information.
Step 202, judging whether the electronic equipment is successfully registered in the cell of the first system, if not, executing step 203 and step 204; if so, step 205 is performed.
Step 203, allocating forbidden cell identities for the first cells in the first information.
And step 204, searching the cell of the second standard when searching the cell again.
The re-search means that before step 201, because the registration initiated to the first cell fails, the cell needs to be re-searched, and a target cell is selected to camp in the searched cell to initiate the registration to the target cell, and the processing of the registration has been described previously, and is not described herein again; moreover, when the electronic device re-searches the cell, the cell of the second system is searched (that is, the cell of the first system is not included in the search range), so as to avoid the situation of registration failure.
The execution sequence of step 203 and step 204 is not sequential, and is the processing when the judgment result of step 202 is negative.
Step 203 and step 204 are described below with reference to an example: taking the first standard as LTE as an example, when an electronic device searches for a first cell of the first standard in a physical area a (the cell ID is 29023, that is, the physical area a belongs to a coverage area of the first cell), and when initiating a registration failure to the first cell, retrieves first information to check whether the cell is successfully registered in the LTE cell, and if the cell is not successfully registered in the LTE cell, it indicates that the LTE cell is not completely constructed, so that the first standard capability (LTE capability) is removed when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a, and a second standard cell is searched when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a (that is, the first standard cell is not included in the search area); the problems that the electronic equipment cannot develop services and the user experience is influenced due to the fact that the registration is initiated unsuccessfully are solved; when the registration in the LTE cell has not been successful, the electronic device further allocates a forbidden cell identifier for the first cell in the first information, and an example is as follows: 46001-LTE-29023-forbidden-201408281008 to update the first information.
Step 205, allocating forbidden cell identities for the first cell in the first information.
For example, when registration fails in the LTE cell (cell ID 29023), the electronic device also writes the following entry in the first information: 46001-LTE-29023-forbidden-201408281008 to update the first information; in this way, when the electronic device re-searches the cell of the first system, since the first cell is forbidden, the first cell is excluded when searching the cell of the first system.
In this embodiment, when registration fails in a first cell of a first system, in combination with historical information for initiating registration to the cell, it is determined that registration has not been successful in the cell of the first system, which indicates that the success rate of registration to the cell of the first system is very low (the construction of the cell of the first system is not complete yet), and therefore, when registration is initiated in a subsequent cell re-search, the cell of the first system is not brought into a search range; meanwhile, when judging that the cell is successfully registered in the first standard cell, the first cell is not brought into the search range when the cell is searched subsequently; therefore, the success rate of registration can be improved, the problem that the electronic equipment cannot provide services when residing in a part of cells is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
EXAMPLE III
The embodiment describes an information processing method, which is applied to an electronic device (also referred to as a mobile terminal) such as a smart phone and a tablet computer, wherein the electronic device supports storing first information, and the first information includes history information of initiating registration to a searched cell by the electronic device;
here, the search by the electronic device includes the following scenarios: 1) cell selection, namely, when the electronic device is powered on and started up or enters a signal coverage area from a signal blind area, selecting (for example, selecting based on an S criterion) a cell in the PLMN to camp on; 2) cell reselection, i.e., when the electronic device is in idle mode, reselecting (e.g., selecting based on R criteria) a best cell for camping on; 3) cell switching, which means that when the electronic device moves out of the current resident cell, the electronic device switches to a selected target cell in order to keep the ongoing communication uninterrupted;
here, the electronic device initiating registration includes the following processes: 1) the electronic equipment carries out a random access process; 2) the electronic equipment establishes an RRC connection with a base station to which the selected cell (taking the first cell as an example) belongs; 3) the electronic equipment carries out an Attach (Attach) process so that an MME (mobility management entity) establishes a default bearer for the electronic equipment; the specific implementation process may refer to related protocols, which are not described herein in detail.
As an example, the electronic device may locally store the first information in the form of a "PLMN-system-cell number-registration state-timestamp" list, for example, if the electronic device has successfully registered in the WCDMA cell 29056, a corresponding entry in the first information is "46001-WCDMA-29056-registration success-201408081002".
When the electronic device fails to initiate registration to the first cell in the first system, as shown in fig. 3, the information processing method described in this embodiment includes the following steps:
step 301, retrieving the first information.
Step 302, judging whether the electronic equipment is successfully registered in the cell of the first system, if not, executing step 303 and step 304; if so, step 305 and step 306 are performed.
Step 303, allocating forbidden cell identities to the first cell in the first information.
And step 304, searching the cell of the second standard when searching the cell again.
The re-search means that before step 301, because the registration initiated to the first cell fails, the cell needs to be re-searched, and a target cell is selected to camp in the searched cell to initiate the registration to the target cell, and the processing of the registration has been described previously, and is not described herein again; moreover, when the electronic device re-searches the cell, the cell of the second system is searched (that is, the cell of the first system is not included in the search range), so as to avoid the situation of registration failure.
The following describes steps 303 to 304 with reference to an example: taking the first standard as LTE as an example, when an electronic device searches for a first cell of the first standard in a physical area a (the cell ID is 29023, that is, the physical area a belongs to a coverage area of the first cell), and when initiating a registration failure to the first cell, retrieves first information to check whether the cell is successfully registered in the LTE cell, and if the cell is not successfully registered in the LTE cell, it indicates that the LTE cell is not completely constructed, so that the first standard capability (LTE capability) is removed when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a, and a second standard cell is searched when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a (that is, the first standard cell is not included in the search area); the problems that the electronic equipment cannot develop services and the user experience is influenced due to the fact that the registration is initiated unsuccessfully are solved; the electronic device further allocates a forbidden cell identity for the first cell in the first information, one example being as follows: 46001-LTE-29023-forbidden-201408100030 to update the first information.
Step 305, detecting the reason of the registration failure in the first cell.
Step 306, when the reason of the registration failure represents that the base station to which the first cell belongs has a fault, allocating a forbidden cell identifier for the first cell in the first information.
As an example, when the electronic device acquires information that an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of the electronic device is not stored in a Home Location Register (HLR) from the base station of the first cell; or when it is acquired that there is no suitable cell (i.e., a cell where the electronic device is camped on and initiates registration) in the area where the electronic device is located, it may be determined that the base station of the first cell has a failure (that is, the first cell is not completely constructed), so that a forbidden cell identifier is allocated to the first cell in the first information, for example, when the base station of the LTE cell (cell ID of 29023) has a failure, the electronic device writes the following entry in the first information: 46001-LTE-29023-forbidden-201408280920 to exclude the first cell when searching for the LTE cell, and improve the success rate of registration.
In this embodiment, when registration fails in a first cell of a first system, in combination with historical information for initiating registration to the cell, it is determined that registration has not been successful in the cell of the first system, which indicates that the success rate of registration to the cell of the first system is very low (the construction of the cell of the first system is not complete yet), and therefore, when registration is initiated in a subsequent cell re-search, the cell of the first system is not brought into a search range; meanwhile, when judging that the first standard cell is successfully registered and the base station of the first cell is in failure, the first cell is not brought into the searching range when the cells are searched subsequently; therefore, the success rate of registration can be improved, the problem that the electronic equipment cannot provide services when residing in a part of cells is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
Example four
The embodiment describes an information processing method, which is applied to an electronic device (also referred to as a mobile terminal) such as a smart phone and a tablet computer, wherein the electronic device supports storing first information, and the first information includes history information of initiating registration to a searched cell by the electronic device;
here, the search by the electronic device includes the following scenarios: 1) cell selection, namely, when the electronic device is powered on and started up or enters a signal coverage area from a signal blind area, selecting (for example, selecting based on an S criterion) a cell in the PLMN to camp on; 2) cell reselection, i.e., when the electronic device is in idle mode, reselecting (e.g., selecting based on R criteria) a best cell for camping on; 3) cell switching, which means that when the electronic device moves out of the current resident cell, the electronic device switches to a selected target cell in order to keep the ongoing communication uninterrupted;
here, the electronic device initiating registration includes the following processes: 1) the electronic equipment carries out a random access process; 2) the electronic equipment establishes an RRC connection with a base station to which the selected cell (taking the first cell as an example) belongs; 3) the electronic equipment carries out an Attach (Attach) process so that an MME (mobility management entity) establishes a default bearer for the electronic equipment; the specific implementation process may refer to related protocols, which are not described herein in detail.
As an example, the electronic device may locally store the first information in the form of a "PLMN-system-cell number-registration state-timestamp" list, for example, if the electronic device has successfully registered in the WCDMA cell 29056, a corresponding entry in the first information is "46001-WCDMA-29056-registration success-201408280920".
When the electronic device fails to initiate registration to the first cell in the first system, as shown in fig. 4, the information processing method described in this embodiment includes the following steps:
step 401, retrieving the first information.
Step 402, judging whether the electronic equipment is successfully registered in the cell of the first system, if not, executing step 403 and step 404; if so, step 405 and step 406 are performed.
Step 403, allocating forbidden cell identities to the first cell, and allocating timestamps to the forbidden cell identities of the first cell.
Canceling the forbidden cell identity of the first cell when the timestamp expires; when searching for the cell of the first standard subsequently, the first cell may be included in the search range.
And step 404, searching the cell of the second standard when searching the cell again.
The re-search means that before step 401, because the registration initiated to the first cell fails, the cell needs to be re-searched, and a target cell is selected from the searched cells to camp on, so as to initiate the registration to the target cell, and the processing of the registration has been described previously, and is not described herein again; moreover, when the electronic device re-searches the cell, the cell of the second system is searched (that is, the cell of the first system is not included in the search range), so as to avoid the situation of registration failure.
The following describes steps 403 to 404 with reference to an example: taking the first standard as LTE as an example, when an electronic device searches for a first cell of the first standard in a physical area a (the cell ID is 29023, that is, the physical area a belongs to a coverage area of the first cell), and when initiating a registration failure to the first cell, retrieves first information to check whether the cell is successfully registered in the LTE cell, and if the cell is not successfully registered in the LTE cell, it indicates that the LTE cell is not completely constructed, so that the first standard capability (LTE capability) is removed when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a, and a second standard cell is searched when the cell is re-searched in the physical area a (that is, the first standard cell is not included in the search area); the problems that the electronic equipment cannot develop services and the user experience is influenced due to the fact that the registration is initiated unsuccessfully are solved; the electronic device further allocates a forbidden cell identity for the first cell in the first information, one example being as follows: 46001-LTE-29023-forbidden-201408280920 to update the first information.
Step 405, detecting a reason for the failure of the registration in the first cell.
Step 406, when the reason of the registration failure represents that the base station to which the first cell belongs has a fault, allocating a forbidden cell identifier for the first cell in the first information, and allocating a timestamp for the forbidden cell identifier of the first cell.
Canceling the forbidden cell identity of the first cell when the timestamp expires; so as to bring the first cell into a search range when searching for a cell of a first standard.
EXAMPLE five
The embodiment describes an information processing method, which is applied to an electronic device (also referred to as a mobile terminal) such as a smart phone and a tablet computer, wherein the electronic device supports storing first information, and the first information includes history information of initiating registration to a searched cell by the electronic device;
here, the search by the electronic device includes the following scenarios: 1) cell selection, namely, when the electronic device is powered on and started up or enters a signal coverage area from a signal blind area, selecting (for example, selecting based on an S criterion) a cell in the PLMN to camp on; 2) cell reselection, i.e., when the electronic device is in idle mode, reselecting (e.g., selecting based on R criteria) a best cell for camping on; 3) cell switching, which means that when the electronic device moves out of the current resident cell, the electronic device switches to a selected target cell in order to keep the ongoing communication uninterrupted;
here, the electronic device initiating registration includes the following processes: 1) the electronic equipment carries out a random access process; 2) the electronic equipment establishes an RRC connection with a base station to which the selected cell (taking the first cell as an example) belongs; 3) the electronic equipment carries out an Attach (Attach) process so that an MME (mobility management entity) establishes a default bearer for the electronic equipment; the specific implementation process may refer to related protocols, which are not described herein in detail.
When the electronic device fails to initiate registration in the first system to the first cell, as shown in fig. 5, the information processing method described in this embodiment includes the following steps:
step 501, retrieving the first information.
Step 502, judging whether the electronic equipment is successfully registered in the cell of the first system, if not, executing step 503; if so, step 506 and step 507 are performed.
Step 503, allocating a forbidden cell identifier to the first cell, and allocating a timestamp to the forbidden cell identifier of the first cell.
Canceling the forbidden cell identity of the first cell when the timestamp expires; when searching for the cell of the first standard subsequently, the first cell may be included in the search range.
Step 504, retrieving the first information, and determining whether the electronic device has successfully registered in the cell of the second system; if yes, go to step 505; otherwise, the process is stopped.
And 505, searching the cell of the second standard when searching the cell again.
The re-search means that before step 501, because the registration initiated to the first cell fails, the cell needs to be re-searched, and a target cell is selected to camp in the searched cell to initiate the registration to the target cell, and the processing of the registration has been described previously, and is not described herein again; moreover, when the electronic device re-searches the cell, the cell of the second system is searched (that is, the cell of the first system is not included in the search range), so as to avoid the situation of registration failure.
The following describes steps 503 to 505 with reference to an example: taking the first standard as LTE as an example, when an electronic device searches for a first cell of the first standard in a physical area a (the cell ID is 29023, that is, the physical area a belongs to a coverage area of the first cell), and when initiating a registration failure to the first cell, retrieves first information to check whether the registration is successful in the LTE cell, and if the registration is not successful in the LTE cell, it indicates that the construction of the cell of the LTE standard is not complete, so that the first standard capability (LTE capability) is removed when the cell is searched again in the physical area a; searching the first information, checking whether the registration in the WCDMA cell is successful, and if the registration in the WCDMA cell is successful; then, when the physical area a searches for the cell again, the WCDMA cell (corresponding to the second system cell) is searched, and the registration success rate is improved, so as to avoid the problems that the electronic device cannot perform the service and influence the user experience due to the failure of initiating the registration; the electronic device further allocates a forbidden cell identity for the first cell in the first information, one example being as follows: 46001-LTE-29023-forbidden-201408280920 to update the first information.
Step 506, detecting a reason for the registration failure in the first cell.
Step 507, when the reason of the registration failure represents that the base station to which the first cell belongs has a fault, allocating a forbidden cell identifier for the first cell in the first information, and allocating a timestamp for the forbidden cell identifier of the first cell.
Canceling the forbidden cell identity of the first cell when the timestamp expires; so as to bring the first cell into a search range when searching for a cell of a first standard.
