Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of displays and discloses a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module is used for reducing the integral thickness of the display device and improving the thinness of the display device. The backlight module comprises a backing plate, a reflective sheet, a light guide plate, optical film materials and a light source and also comprises a metal frame which is located in the backing plate; a bearing interval is defined by side walls of the metal frame; every side wall of the metal frame is provided with a boss which is used for supporting a display panel; a hollow portion which is used for accommodating the reflective sheet, the light guide plate, the optical film materials and the light source is defined by the plurality of bosses and the backing plate; the reflective sheet is located on a base plate of the backing plate; the light guide plate is located on one side of the reflective sheet, wherein the side of the reflective sheet is deviated from the base plate of the backing plate; the optical film materials are located on the light-out side of the light guide plate; the display panel is located on one side of the optical film materials, wherein the side of the optical film materials is deviated from the light guide plate; the light source is located on the light-in side of the light guide plate.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of displays, in particular to a backlight module and a display device.
Background
With the continuous development of liquid crystal display technology, people have higher and higher requirements on the size and thickness of display devices, and the display devices with large size and ultra-thin thickness are more and more favored by users.
As shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a display device in the prior art, and the display device in the prior art mainly includes: display panel 01, front bezel 02, backlight unit 03 generally includes: a back plate 031, a rubber frame 032 arranged in the back plate 031, a light guide plate 033 arranged in the rubber frame 032, a reflecting sheet 034, a light source, an optical film 035, and the like.
In the backlight module in the prior art, the load-bearing component is mainly a back plate, and in order to maintain the supporting strength of the back plate, the thickness of the back plate needs to be set to be thicker (0.8 mm-1.2 mm), so that the thickness and the weight of the whole display device are thicker and heavier.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a backlight module and a display device, which are used for reducing the overall thickness of the display device and improving the thinning effect of the display device.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:
the invention provides a backlight module, comprising: backplate, reflector plate, light guide plate, optical film material and light source still include: the metal frame is positioned in the back plate, the side walls of the metal frame define a bearing area, each side wall of the metal frame is provided with a boss for supporting a display panel, and the plurality of bosses and the back plate define a concave part for accommodating the reflector plate, the light guide plate, the optical film material and the light source; wherein,
the reflector plate is located on the bottom plate of the back plate, the light guide plate is located the reflector plate deviates from one side of the bottom plate of the back plate, the optical film is located on the light emitting side of the light guide plate, the display panel is located the optical film deviates from one side of the light guide plate, and the light source is located on the light entering side of the light guide plate.
According to the backlight module provided by the invention, a rubber frame in the prior art is removed, meanwhile, the thickness of the back plate is reduced, the metal frame is added to fix the light guide plate, the reflecting layer, the optical film material, the display panel and the like, after the thickness of the back plate is reduced, the supporting strength of the back plate is reduced, the added metal frame plays a role in reinforcing ribs, and the strength of the back plate can be enhanced.
Therefore, the backlight module provided by the invention can reduce the thickness of the back plate without reducing the support strength of the back plate, so that the overall thickness of the display device can be reduced, and the thinning effect of the display device is improved.
In some alternative embodiments, the thickness of the back plate is 0.4 mm to 0.5 mm. The thickness of the back plate in the prior art is generally 0.8 mm-1.2 mm, and compared with the prior art, the thickness of the back plate is greatly reduced, so that the thickness of the backlight module and the thickness of the display device can be reduced.
In some alternative embodiments, the side wall of the metal frame and the back plate are fixedly connected by screws.
In some alternative embodiments, the side walls of the metal frame and the back plate are connected by a super glue.
In some optional embodiments, the light source includes a plurality of LED lamps, each LED lamp is attached to a surface of the side wall of the boss away from the side wall, and each LED lamp and the light guide plate are located at the same height.
The invention also provides a display device, which comprises a display panel and the backlight module.

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Example one
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, wherein: fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a backlight module according to an embodiment of the invention; fig. 3 is a schematic view of a partial structure of a metal frame in a backlight module according to an embodiment of the present invention. The invention provides a backlight module, comprising: the back plate 1, the reflective sheet 2, the light guide plate 3, the optical film 4, and the light source (not shown in the figure), further include: as shown in fig. 3, the side walls 51 of the metal frame 5 enclose a carrying region, each side wall 51 of the metal frame 5 is provided with a boss 511 for supporting a display panel, and the plurality of bosses 511 and the back panel 1 enclose a recess for accommodating the reflective sheet 2, the light guide plate 3, the optical film 4 and the light source; wherein,
the reflector plate 2 is located on the bottom plate of the back plate 1, the light guide plate 3 is located on one side of the bottom plate of the reflector plate 2 departing from the back plate 1, the optical film material 4 is located on the light emitting side of the light guide plate 3, the display panel is located on one side of the optical film material 4 departing from the light guide plate 3, and the light source is located on the light incident side of the light guide plate 3.
According to the backlight module provided by the invention, a rubber frame in the prior art is removed, meanwhile, the thickness of the back plate is reduced, the metal frame is added to fix the light guide plate, the reflecting layer, the optical film material, the display panel and the like, after the thickness of the back plate is reduced, the supporting strength of the back plate is reduced, the added metal frame plays a role in reinforcing ribs, and the strength of the back plate can be enhanced.
Therefore, the backlight module provided by the invention can reduce the thickness of the back plate without reducing the support strength of the back plate, so that the overall thickness of the display device can be reduced, and the thinning effect of the display device is improved.
Preferably, the thickness of the back sheet 1 is 0.4 mm to 0.5 mm. The thickness of the back plate in the prior art is generally 0.8 mm-1.2 mm, and compared with the prior art, the thickness of the back plate is greatly reduced, so that the thickness of the backlight module and the thickness of the display device can be reduced.
In order to improve the supporting strength of the back plate, the side wall 51 of the metal frame 5 is tightly attached to the back plate 1, of course, the side wall of the metal frame may be fixedly connected to the back plate in various ways, and optionally, the side wall 51 of the metal frame 5 is fixedly connected to the back plate 1 by screws. Alternatively, the side wall 51 of the metal frame 5 and the back plate 1 are connected by a strong adhesive.
In one embodiment, the light source includes a plurality of LED lamps, each LED lamp is attached to a side of the side wall of the boss away from the side wall, and each LED lamp and the light guide plate are located at the same height.
Example two
As shown in fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention further provides a display device including a display panel 6 and a backlight module according to any one of the above embodiments. The backlight module can reduce the whole thickness of the display device and improve the thinning effect of the display device, so the display device provided by the embodiment of the invention has better thinning effect.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made in the embodiments of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, if such modifications and variations of the present invention fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention and their equivalents, the present invention is also intended to include such modifications and variations.
Claims (6)
1. A backlight module includes: backplate, reflector plate, light guide plate, optical film material and light source, its characterized in that still includes: the metal frame is positioned in the back plate, the side walls of the metal frame define a bearing area, each side wall of the metal frame is provided with a boss for supporting a display panel, and the plurality of bosses and the back plate define a concave part for accommodating the reflector plate, the light guide plate, the optical film material and the light source; wherein,
the reflector plate is located on the bottom plate of the back plate, the light guide plate is located the reflector plate deviates from one side of the bottom plate of the back plate, the optical film is located on the light emitting side of the light guide plate, the display panel is located the optical film deviates from one side of the light guide plate, and the light source is located on the light entering side of the light guide plate.
2. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the back plate has a thickness of 0.4 mm to 0.5 mm.
3. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the side walls of the metal frame are fixedly connected to the back plate by screws.
4. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sidewalls of the metal frame and the back plate are connected by a super glue.
5. The backlight module according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the light source comprises a plurality of LED lamps, each LED lamp is attached to a surface of the boss which is away from the side wall where the LED lamp is located, and each LED lamp and the light guide plate are located at the same height.
6. A display device comprising a display panel, further comprising the backlight module according to any one of claims 1 to 5.
