背景技术

设备控制器30将与多个内容接收器20和多个内容提供者（所述多个内容提供者与所述多个内容接收器20对应）有关的信息以及用户查看历史发送到服务器100，并基于可由全部的多个提供者提供的内容的查看历史，从服务器100接收内容推荐信息。响应于新装置被连接到多个内容接收器20中的一个，设备控制器30可将图像显示设备1的地域信息发送到服务器100，并可请求服务器100提供与内容提供者有关的信息。
然后，服务器控制器130从图像显示设备1接收与多个内容接收器20和多个内容提供者（所述多个内容提供者与所述多个内容接收器20对应）有关的信息以及用户查看历史，并基于可由全部的多个提供者提供的内容的查看历史，产生内容推荐信息并将内容推荐信息发送到图像显示设备1。
图3是根据示例性实施例的图像显示设备和服务器的内容推荐信息接收方法的控制流程图。在下文中，将参照图3描述根据示例性实施例的推荐内容的控制方法。
新装置被连接到图像显示设备1的内容接收器20中的一个（S10）。响应于图像显示设备1被初始化启动，或内容提供者被替换，或新内容提供者被连接，可执行这样的连接。用户可不考虑当前被连接的内容提供者将新内容提供者连接到新内容接收器20。
图4A示出响应于新装置被连接到图像显示设备1的内容接收器20，显示在图像显示设备1的显示部分的图形用户接口（GUI）。如图中所示，对于多个内容接收器20的“图像源列表”被显示在GUI的上部，而图像显示设备1的多个内容接收器20的示例被显示在下面。响应于用户选择“外部装置1”作为装置可被连接到的连接器，设备控制器30将与内容接收器20的类型（例如，HDMI或分量端口）相关的信息发送到服务器100。
设备控制器30将地域信息发送到服务器100，地域信息包括邮编、地域名称和互联网协议连同内容接收器20的信息中的至少一个，并请求服务器100提供与内容提供者有关的信息（S20）。
服务器100可基于地域信息（诸如互联网协议）识别图像显示设备1的实质地域信息，并基于地域信息产生与至少一个可提供内容的内容提供者有关的信息并将该信息发送到图像显示设备1（S30）。服务器100的存储器120可在其中存储与图像显示设备1的地域信息相应的内容提供者的信息，或者可从外部源获得与内容提供者相关的信息。
响应于可将内容提供给内容接收器20的内容提供者并非是一个而是多个，服务器100可产生内容提供者的列表，并可提供列表到图像显示设备1，其中，内容接收器20连接到图像显示设备1所在的地域中的装置。图4B示出根据示例性实施例的由图像显示设备1显示的内容提供者I的列表。如图中所示，可通过“外部设备2”的内容接收器提供内容的内容提供者是包括CA、Los Angeles、OTA、Comcast、DIRECTV和VERIZON的多个提供者。用户可通过使用与服务器100提供的内容提供者有关的信息来选择多个内容提供者中的一个，并且由用户选择的内容提供者的信息被发送到服务器100（S40）。
服务器100存储图像显示设备的内容接收器20和相应内容提供者的信息（S50）。
当然，用户可为了替换或删除存在的内容提供者，请求服务器100提供与新内容提供者有关的信息。这种内容提供者的改变信息可被存储在服务器100中。
通过前述方法，多个内容提供者可被连接到多个内容接收器20。用户可查看由各种内容提供者提供的内容，并且设备控制器30可按照类别存储查看的内容并产生查看历史信息。例如，设备控制器130可使用与以下有关的信息产生数据：按时间的经常查看内容、按流派的查看历史、响应于使用图像显示设备1的多个用户的按用户的查看历史和按内容提供者的查看历史。
设备控制器30将收集的查看历史信息连同多个内容接收器20和与所述多个内容接收器20相应的多个内容提供者的信息一起被发送到服务器100（S60）。即，设备控制器30将关于以下的单个内容源信息发送到服务器100：通过天线21的广播电波的接收、通过连接器1（23）的卫星广播的接收和通过内容接收器的连接器2（25）的有线广播的接收。
基于由图像显示设备1提供的查看历史，服务器100的服务器控制器130针对连接到图像显示设备1的全部内容提供者的内容产生内容推荐信息（S70）。服务器100可包括它本身的搜索引擎，或者从其它具有用于内容推荐信息的元数据的外部服务器接收搜索结果。
服务器控制器130可通过使用非常相似于当前查看的内容并因此可被实时查看的内容（例如，系列节目中先前的情节或在不久的将来可被查看的内容）产生内容推荐信息。这样的内容推荐信息可包括按时间序列或按内容提供者的内容列表，内容列表概述多个内容而非单个内容。响应于不存在与当前查看的内容有关的广播内容，服务器控制器130可推荐VOD内容。VOD内容可使用特定应用通过互联网通信29被提供到图像显示设备1。响应于推荐与多个内容提供者提供的相同的内容的推荐，服务器控制器130可推荐免费内容或考虑到图片质量或声音质量或字幕服务推荐更好的内容。在这种情况下，内容提供者可被一起提供给用户来选择多个内容中的一个。否则，服务器控制器130可首先推荐由用户主要使用的内容提供者的内容。根据另一示例性实施例，响应于图像显示设备1发送特定用户的ID及其查看历史，服务器控制器130可对于用户产生内容推荐信息。即，服务器控制器130可以按时间序列或根据费用、图像信号的质量、用户偏好或用户来产生内容推荐信息。响应于不存在可推荐的广播内容，服务器控制器130可推荐VOD内容。响应于多个内容提供者提供了单个内容，服务器控制器130按照具有高品质图像信号并产生较少费用的内容的顺序产生内容推荐信息，并将产生的内容推荐信息发送到图像显示设备1（S80）。
根据另一示例性实施例，响应于图像显示设备1得知内容提供者的信息，无论是连接还是设置，图像显示设备1可以不请求服务器100提供与内容提供者有关的信息。在这种情况下，图像显示设备1可将与内容提供者有关的信息和查看历史发送到服务器2，并基于这样的信息和历史从服务器100接收内容推荐信息。即，基于由图像显示设备1提供的内容提供者的信息，服务器100可提供图像显示设备1与内容有关的内容推荐信息。
图5示出根据示例性实施例的由服务器提供的内容推荐信息。如图中所示，由服务器100提供的内容推荐信息包括：内容节目、提供内容节目的内容提供者的名称和查看内容的时间信息。
响应于包括在内容推荐信息中的内容不是与由当前接收内容的内容接收器连接的内容提供者所提供的内容，用户可将当前内容接收器替换成连接到提供期望内容的内容提供者的内容接收器（S90）。即，图像显示设备1提供这样的用户环境，其中，用户可如同他/她改变频道一样，以相同的方式改变内容提供者。
根据示例性实施例，用户可容易地获得由全部当前连接的内容提供者提供的各种内容信息，并可容易地改变想要内容。然而，在现有技术中，连接的内容提供者的内容被推荐给用户，但是根据示例性实施例的内容推荐方法提高了可由用户选择的内容的质量和数量，并且可在内容提供者之间以诚信鼓励竞争。
如上所述，根据示例性实施例的图像显示设备和内容推荐信息接收方法可显示可通过多个内容接收器提供的内容的综合信息。
此外，根据示例性实施例的服务器及其内容推荐方法通过考虑图像显示设备的账号内容接收器来给用户提供可被提供的综合内容推荐信息。
此外，根据示例性实施例的图像显示设备、内容推荐信息接收方法、服务器和内容推荐方法可从多个内容提供者提供的内容中给用户提供最优内容信息。
虽然已经示出并描述了一些示例性实施例，但是本领域技术人员将理解在不脱离本发明的原理和精神的情况下，可在示例性实施例中做出改变，其中，本发明的范围由权利要求和它们的等同物限定。

Claims (15)

1.一种图像显示设备，包括：
通信器，被配置用于与外部服务器进行通信；
多个内容接收器，被配置用于分别连接到多个内容提供者；
控制器，被配置用于将与所述多个内容接收器和相应于所述多个内容接收器的所述多个内容提供者有关的信息以及用户查看历史发送到服务器，并基于由全部的所述多个内容提供者提供的内容的用户查看历史，从服务器接收内容推荐信息。
2.根据权利要求1的图像显示设备，其中，控制器被配置用于接收通过考虑以下中的至少一个产生的内容推荐信息：当前可查看或可利用的内容，按时间序列的可利用内容、费用、图片质量、声音质量、是否存在字幕服务和用户偏好。
3.根据权利要求1所述的图像显示设备，其中，响应于新装置被连接到所述多个内容接收器中的一个，控制器被配置用于将包括邮编、地域名称和互联网协议中的至少一个的地域信息发送到服务器，并请求服务器提供与内容提供者有关的信息。
4.根据权利要求3所述的图像显示设备，其中，控制器被配置用于从服务器接收与提供内容到与新装置连接的内容接收器的内容提供者有关的信息，并发送用户选择信号到服务器以选择内容提供者中的一个。
5.根据权利要求1的图像显示设备，其中，响应于包括在内容推荐信息中的内容不是与当前接收内容的内容接收器连接的内容提供者所提供的内容，控制器被配置用于将当前内容接收器替换成连接到提供内容的内容提供者的内容接收器。
6.一种接收与图像显示设备有关的内容推荐信息的方法，所述图像显示设备包括被配置用于分别连接到多个内容提供者的多个内容接收器，所述方法包括：
将与所述多个内容接收器和相应于所述多个内容接收器的所述多个内容提供者有关的信息以及用户查看历史发送到外部服务器；
基于由全部的所述多个内容提供者提供的内容的用户查看历史，从服务器接收内容推荐信息。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法，还包括：
响应于新装置被连接到所述多个内容接收器中的一个，将包括邮编、地域名称和互联网协议中的至少一个的地域信息发送到服务器；
请求服务器提供与内容提供者有关的信息。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法，还包括：
从服务器接收与提供内容到连接到新装置的内容接收器的内容提供者有关的信息；
为了选择内容提供者中的一个发送用户选择信号到服务器。
9.根据权利要求6所述的方法，还包括：响应于包括在内容推荐信息中的内容不是与当前接收内容的内容接收器连接的内容提供者所提供的内容，将当前内容接收器替换成连接到提供内容的内容提供者的内容接收器。
10.一种为图像显示设备提供内容推荐信息的服务器，所述服务器包括：
存储部分；
控制器，被配置用于从图像显示设备接收与图像显示设备的多个内容接收器和相应于所述多个内容接收器的多个内容提供者有关的信息以及用户查看历史，在存储部分中存储这样的信息和用户查看历史，并基于由全部的所述多个内容提供者提供的内容的用户查看历史，产生内容推荐信息并将内容推荐信息发送到图像显示设备。
11.根据权利要求10所述的服务器，其中，控制器被配置用于通过考虑以下中的至少一个产生内容推荐信息：当前可查看或可利用的内容，按时间序列的可利用内容、费用、图片质量、声音质量、是否存在字幕服务和用户偏好。
12.根据权利要求10所述的服务器，其中，控制器被配置用于将与提供内容的内容提供者有关的信息连同内容推荐信息一起发送。
13.一种服务器的推荐内容的方法，所述服务器为图像显示设备提供内容推荐信息，所述方法包括：
从图像显示设备接收与图像显示设备的多个内容接收器和相应于所述多个内容接收器的多个内容提供者有关的信息以及用户查看历史；
基于由全部的多个内容提供者提供的内容的用户查看历史，产生内容推荐信息；
将内容推荐信息发送到图像显示设备。
14.根据权利要求13所述的方法，其中，产生内容推荐信息的步骤包括：通过考虑以下中的至少一个产生内容推荐信息：当前可查看或可利用的内容、按时间序列的可利用内容、费用、图片质量、声音质量、是否存在字幕服务和用户偏好。
15.根据权利要求13所述的方法，还包括：将与提供内容的内容提供者有关的信息连同内容推荐信息一起发送。
