Example one
As shown in fig. 2, a schematic diagram of an implementation process of the AP version upgrading method of the present invention is shown, where the process includes the following steps:
step 21: the AP sends a version data request message carrying the version identification code of the AP version file to the AC, and when the AP version file is requested to be downloaded, the AC locally inquires the hash value of the AP version file requested to be downloaded;
here, the operation of upgrading the version of the AP by the AC may be applied to two upgrading scenarios specified by the CAPWAP, and may be applied to any time when the AP first accesses the AC, and when the AP normally operates after accessing the AC.
Here, before step 21, the method further includes the step of the AP interacting with the AC according to the procedure of CAPWAP to confirm the upgrading.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating an implementation flow of an AP interacting with an AC to confirm an upgrade operation when the AP accesses the AC for the first time, and as shown in fig. 3, the method includes the following steps:
step 2111: the administrator uploads the AP version file to the AC;
step 2112: when the AP is accessed to the AC for the first time, sending an access request message carrying the version identification code of the AP version file currently operated by the AP to the AC;
step 2113-2115: the AC detects whether the version of the AP needs to be upgraded, if so, an access response message carrying a new version identification code is sent to the AP, and then step 22 is executed; otherwise, the upgrading process is terminated, and the AP enters a configuration issuing state.
Here, the AC detects whether version upgrade of the AP is required as follows:
and the AC extracts the version identification code carried by the received access request message, compares the version identification code with the version identification code of the locally stored AP version, and determines whether the corresponding version identification code sent by the AP corresponds to a new AP version file, if so, the AP is not required to perform version upgrading, otherwise, the AP is required to perform version upgrading.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating an implementation flow of an AP interacting with an AC to confirm an upgrade operation at any time of normal operation after the AP accesses the AC, as shown in fig. 4, including the following steps:
step 2121: the administrator uploads the AP version file to the AC;
2122-2124: the AC detects whether the AP needs to be subjected to version upgrading, and if so, a configuration updating request message carrying a new version identification code is sent to the AP to inform the AP of the version upgrading; otherwise, the operation is not executed;
here, the AC detects whether the AP needs to be version-upgraded:
and the AC compares the version identification code of the newly uploaded AP version file with the version identification code of the locally maintained AP version file corresponding to the AP to determine whether the AP version file of the AP is a newer version, if so, the AP is not required to be subjected to version upgrading, and otherwise, the AP is required to be subjected to version upgrading.
Step 2125: the AP returns a configuration update response message to the AC.
Step 22: and the AC sends a version data response message to the AP, wherein the message carries the hash value of the AP version file or the hash value with the value of zero so as to upgrade the AP version.
Here, the AC sends a version data response message to the AP, where the message carries a hash value of the AP version file or a hash value with a value of zero, and specifically:
