Abstract
A headgear (10) with an adjustable headband comprises a band (12), wherein the band (12) is provided with a first locking end (14) and a second rack end (16), and the second rack end (16) is received in a sliding lapping way so as to encircle the head part of a wearer in an adjustable way. The rack end comprises rack surfaces (28 and 30) with outward opposite surfaces and a plurality of concave openings (28A and 30A). The locking end comprises latches (24 and 26) partitioned from each other, having pairwise inwards opposite surfaces and biased by a spring. The latches selectively move to be jointed with and separated from the concave openings (28A and 30A). A shifting switch (18) is received on the lapping ends (14 and 16), so that the shifting switch (18) can selectively move between a first unlocking position and a second locking position. When the shifting switch is at the first unlocking position, the latches (24 and 26) are separated from the concave openings (28A and 30A) and the rack end can freely move relative to the locking end; when the shifting switch is at the second locking position, the latches are jointed with the concave openings and the rack end and the locking end are locked mutually.
