The short carbon fiber/silicon carbide composites prepared by the method are good in performance, and volume content of the short carbon fibers can be controllable; and the short carbon fiber/silicon carbide composites have high specific modulus, high specific strength and excellent toughness, and can hopefully be applied to light weight armor field.
