Detailed Description
The invention will be described in detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in conjunction with embodiments. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
The portable WLAN hotspot function realized based on the existing WLAN technology must be manually opened and closed each time, which brings great inconvenience to users, and the data traffic signed by each user is limited and paid, if the WLAN hotspot is always in an opened state, other devices can perform data service through the AP without limit, consuming the data traffic of the user, so it is necessary to perform corresponding control on the portable WLAN hotspot based on traffic; in addition, the power of the wireless mobile terminal is limited, and the opening of the portable WLAN hotspot consumes a large amount of power, so it is necessary to control the closing of the portable WLAN hotspot based on the power alarm information. Therefore, the corresponding conditions for triggering the opening and closing of the WLAN hotspot can be set according to the control basis, so that the strategic control of the WLAN hotspot is realized, and the WLAN hotspot function is effectively managed. It should be noted that the device here may be at least one of the following: the mobile terminal, the Wireless router, possess Wireless compatibility authentication (Wi-Fi) functional domestic appliance for short.
In this embodiment, a method for controlling and processing a WLAN hotspot function is provided, and fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for controlling and processing a WLAN hotspot function of a wireless local area network according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the flowchart includes the following steps:
step S102, starting WLAN hotspot function setting;
step S104, receiving a trigger condition set for triggering the WLAN hotspot function, wherein the trigger condition is used for controlling the opening and closing of the WLAN hotspot function;
and step S106, controlling the opening and closing of the WLAN hotspot function according to the set triggering condition.
Through the steps, whether the WLAN hotspot function is started or not is correspondingly set, namely whether the WLAN hotspot function is started or closed is controlled in a mode of setting a trigger condition, and the corresponding WLAN hotspot function is started or closed when the condition is met.
Considering that the WLAN hotspot function can be more combined with the practical situation of the user when the WLAN hotspot function automatic control function is used, the on/off of the WLAN hotspot function to be controlled and the trigger condition triggering the on/off of the WLAN hotspot function can be displayed before the WLAN hotspot function is controlled according to the set trigger condition. For example, if the trigger condition is that the time for starting the WLAN hotspot function is up, it is displayed that the WLAN hotspot function is started due to the expiration of the timer, so that the user can take corresponding measures according to whether the WLAN hotspot function is really needed at present (for example, if the user does not need the WLAN hotspot function at this time, and power saving is needed as much as possible at this time, the automatic start of the WLAN hotspot function can be directly set to be off), and by sending a prompt message for starting the function to the user before the real start, unnecessary misoperation is effectively avoided, and the real flexible control of the WLAN hotspot function is realized.
The trigger conditions set as described above may be various, and the set time is not limited, and for example, at least one of the following trigger conditions may be set: and when the timer is up, the data flow reaches a preset threshold value, and the electric quantity of the equipment reaches the preset threshold value. Preferably, in the case that the trigger condition is that a timer expires, the trigger condition is set by one of the following ways: setting the starting time and the closing time of the WLAN hotspot function in a preset time period, for example, setting the starting time in one day to be eight morning hours, and setting the closing time to be six evening hours; alternatively, one or more time periods for which the WLAN hot spot function is operated are set, for example, the on-time of the day is set to nine to eleven noon and the on-time is set to one to two afternoon.
Preferably, in the case that the triggering condition is that the data flow reaches a predetermined threshold, the triggering condition is set by one of the following ways: setting a data flow threshold value allowing access through the WLAN hotspot function, wherein the set value is a data flow value of all data flows accessed through the WLAN hotspot function, and if the set value exceeds the data flow value, the data flow threshold value is automatically closed; or, setting a data traffic threshold that other wireless access points APs except the device applying the WLAN hotspot function allow access to access through the WLAN hotspot function, and according to the setting of the threshold, data traffic that other wireless access points access through the WLAN hotspot can be effectively controlled, and the threshold can be set with data traffic signed by a user as a reference standard.
In this embodiment, a device for controlling and processing a WLAN hotspot function of a wireless local area network is further provided, where the device is used to implement the foregoing embodiments and preferred embodiments, and details are not repeated for what has been described. As used below, the term "module" may be a combination of software and/or hardware that implements a predetermined function. Although the means described in the embodiments below are preferably implemented in software, an implementation in hardware, or a combination of software and hardware is also possible and contemplated.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram of a WLAN hotspot function control processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the device includes an initiating module 22, a receiving module 24, and a control module 26, which will be described below.
A starting module 22, configured to start a WLAN hotspot function setting of a wireless local area network; a receiving module 24, connected to the starting module 22, for receiving a trigger condition set for triggering the WLAN hotspot function, where the trigger condition is used to control the on/off of the WLAN hotspot function; and a control module 26, connected to the receiving module 24, for controlling the opening and closing of the WLAN hotspot function according to the set trigger condition.
Fig. 3 is a block diagram of a WLAN hotspot function control processing apparatus according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 3, the apparatus includes, in addition to all modules shown in fig. 2, a display module 28, where the display module 28 is connected to the receiving module 24 and the control module 26, and is configured to display the opening and closing of the WLAN hotspot function to be controlled and the trigger condition for triggering the opening and closing of the WLAN hotspot function.
Fig. 4 is a block diagram of a WLAN hotspot function control processing apparatus according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 4, the apparatus further includes a first setting module 42, in addition to all modules shown in fig. 2, for setting the trigger condition by one of the following manners if the trigger condition is that a timer expires: setting the starting time and the closing time of the WLAN hotspot function in a preset time period; alternatively, one or more time periods for which the WLAN hotspot functionality is operational are set.
Fig. 5 is a block diagram of a WLAN hotspot function control processing apparatus according to a third preferred embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 5, the apparatus includes, in addition to all modules shown in fig. 2, a second setting module 52, configured to, in a case that the triggering condition is that data traffic reaches a predetermined threshold, set the triggering condition by one of the following ways: setting a data traffic threshold that allows access through the WLAN hotspot function; or setting a data traffic threshold allowing access through the WLAN hotspot function by other wireless access points APs except the device applying the WLAN hotspot function.
When other wireless workstations want to connect to an external network through a portable WLAN hotspot, the portable WLAN hotspot must be in an open state. The user can only manually open the function, and if the user does not know the PIN code of the mobile terminal and the terminal is in a screen locking state, the hotspot function can only be opened after the owner of the mobile terminal unlocks. Based on the above problems, the portable WLAN hotspot of the present embodiment may be set in a user terminal, or may be set in a general wireless router, and the portable WLAN hotspot is managed by adding an automatic timing function, a traffic statistics function, and a low power control function, and the opening and closing of the portable WLAN hotspot is controlled in a policy, so as to improve the user availability, which is described below by taking a terminal device as an example.
And a hotspot timing starting function is added to the WLAN hotspot, so that the portable WLAN hotspot can be automatically opened at a specified time without manual intervention.
(1) Portable hot spot automatic opening function
A hotspot automatic timing starting function is added to a portable hotspot setting interface, and fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of automatically starting a portable WLAN hotspot function according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6.
The user can set whether to activate the hotspot timing starting function, if the hotspot timing starting function is selected to be started, time setting is needed, for example, the time setting is 9:00 a.m. every day, and after the setting is finished, the portable hotspot function can be automatically started at 9:00 a.m. every day, so that other wireless terminal equipment can be conveniently connected. If the timed-on function is not selected to be turned on, the hot spot must be turned on manually.
The timing function can be realized based on the system time, and the time setting and timing function are based on the system time of the mobile terminal equipment. After adding the automatic hot spot opening function, the portable hot spot can be opened in two ways: manual opening and timed opening. As to which of the two opening methods is to be preferentially opened, the two opening methods may be set to be preferentially handled according to the specific situation. After the hotspot is opened, other wireless terminal equipment can perform extranet access through the hotspot. If the user forgets to turn off the hotspot, the hotspot will always be on even if no other device is using the hotspot.
Therefore, it is necessary to add a hotspot timed shutdown function so that the portable WLAN hotspot can be automatically turned off at a specified time without human intervention.
(2) Portable hotspot automatic closing function
A hotspot automatic timing closing function is added to a portable hotspot setting interface, and fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of automatically closing a portable WLAN hotspot function according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 7.
The user can set whether to activate the hotspot timing closing function, if the hotspot timing closing function is selected to be opened, time setting is needed, for example, 13:00 pm is set, and after the setting is finished, if the hotspot is detected to be opened at 13:00 pm every day, the portable hotspot function is automatically closed at the current moment. If the function is not turned on, the hot spot is not automatically turned off, and the user must adopt a manual turning-off mode.
The timing function can be realized based on the system time, and the time setting and timing function are based on the system time of the mobile terminal equipment.
When other wireless workstations access the external network through the portable hotspot, the subscription data traffic of the terminal is consumed, generally, the subscription data traffic of the mobile terminal is limited, and a certain fee is charged for the excess part. However, even if the data traffic subscribed by the mobile terminal is used up, other wireless workstations can continue to access the data service through the hotspot.
Therefore, it is necessary to add a flow control mechanism, so that the user can limit the data flow accessed by the wireless workstation, automatically close the hot spot when the set flow arrives, and give a prompt message to prompt the user to close the reason for the hot spot.
(3) Data traffic based hotspot closing function
A hotspot traffic closing function is added to a portable hotspot setting interface, and fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of closing the portable WLAN hotspot function based on data traffic according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 8.
The user can set whether to activate the hot spot flow closing function, if the user selects to open, the flow setting is needed, for example, the data flow allowed to access is set to 30M, after the setting is finished, when the data flow accessed by other wireless workstations through the portable WLAN hot spot reaches 30M, the hot spot is automatically closed, prompt information is popped up to prompt the user that the access data flow reaches the set flow threshold, and the hot spot is closed. If the function is not turned on, the hotspot will not do traffic shutdown.
When other wireless workstations access data services through the soft AP, all data are transmitted to the soft AP firstly, and then the soft AP transfers the data to the wireless workstations, so that the soft AP can easily perform data flow statistics and acquire the data under the condition of triggering the hot spot flow to be closed.
The portable WLAN hot spot function is a very power consuming function, and when the mobile terminal turns on the hot spot function, power consumption is very fast. Therefore, it is necessary to add a hot spot low power shutdown function, and when the terminal is in a low power state, the hot spot function is automatically shut down and prompt information is given. Some power is saved for the terminal so that the user can perform other operations.
(4) Terminal low-power-quantity-based hotspot closing function
A hotspot low power shutdown function is added to a portable hotspot setting interface, and fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of a portable WLAN hotspot function based on device low power shutdown according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 9.
The user can set whether to activate the hotspot low-power closing function, if the user selects to open, the terminal which opens the hotspot function automatically closes the hotspot function when entering a low-power state, and prompt information is given to prompt the user to close the hotspot function to save the electric quantity because the terminal is low-power. If the function is not turned on, the hot spot function is not automatically turned off when the terminal enters a low power state.
The low power shut down function may be implemented based on a device low power function that is triggered based on a low power event of the mobile terminal device.
The basic idea of managing the portable WLAN hotspots by adding the automatic timing function, the flow counting function and the low electric control function is that the method for managing the portable WLAN hotspots provides great flexibility for users to use the WLAN hotspot function. The above concept will be explained below with reference to preferred embodiments.
