Background
A Radio Network Controller (RNC) is an important entity of an access Network part in a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), and is also the most abundant device entity of a Radio side protocol stack. Therefore, if the signaling tracking is performed on the RNC, more comprehensive data can be obtained, and the interfaces of the devices such as the base station, the core network, the user terminal, and the like can be located.
For VIP customers, operators need to track the trend of users for a long time and analyze the service characteristics of the users according to the service signaling of the customers, so as to provide high-quality services for the users, and better meet the service and service requirements of the users. Since tracking the trends of the users consumes a lot of overhead, the general tracking method can only track a relatively limited number of VIP clients simultaneously through the background. With the continuous development of communication services, competition is quite intense, the requirement for tracking a large number of clients is more and more intense, and according to the current tracking method, obviously, a large number of clients cannot be tracked, and even when the number of the clients to be tracked reaches hundreds, the traditional tracking method cannot be realized.

Detailed Description
The basic idea of the invention is as follows: when a plurality of users are tracked, the tracked users on line only account for a smaller proportion in the normal condition; if the capability of the system is to allow N users to report the signaling at the same time, and the probability of reporting the signaling is P in a certain time period, theoretically, N/P users can be allowed to be tracked without exceeding the tracking capability of the system; in the actual operation process, once the tracked users on line at the same time reach or exceed the system threshold, tracking scheduling can be carried out according to a first-in first-out strategy, and the first-in users can be guaranteed to report signaling preferentially. The invention realizes the control of the number of the reported signaling users by arranging the user scheduling judgment device, thereby realizing the tracking of multiple users as much as possible by utilizing the tracking capability of the current system.
In the invention, the number of users reporting the signaling is controlled by maintaining the reporting permission queue and the reporting prohibition queue, thereby ensuring that the users reporting the signaling at the same time do not exceed the tracking capability of the system. The size of the report-allowed queue is N, if the user is in the report-forbidden queue, the user does not allow the report signaling, and the size of the queue is (N/P-N). User scheduling can be judged only according to the queue state.
In the invention, N can be the number of users which are supported by the system and allowed to report the signaling at the same time, and corresponding N values are different in different systems; the present invention does not limit N to be the maximum number of tracked users supported by the communication system, and may be an arbitrary number smaller than the maximum number of tracked users. N may be set according to the specific requirements of the operator.
In the invention, the background, the tracking agent and the tracking master control are all the existing network elements in the current tracking system, so that the functions of the tracking system are not described too much, and the respective functions and structures of the tracking system can be understood by referring to the existing standard.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of examples.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a system for tracking a user according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the system for tracking a user according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a background, a tracking master, a tracking agent, and a user scheduling decision device; wherein,
the background is used for issuing a task request aiming at a user to the tracking agent;
the tracking agent is used for sending a request report signaling of a user to the user scheduling decision device after receiving the task request;
the user scheduling decision device is used for determining whether the number of users of the allowed reporting queue reaches a set threshold value or not after receiving a reporting application signaling of the user, and adding the user to the allowed reporting queue if the number of users of the allowed reporting queue does not reach the set threshold value; and when the user arrives, adding a report forbidding queue to the user, and sending a report stopping signaling to the tracking agent.
The set threshold of the number of users allowed to report the queue can be set according to specific needs and the capability of a tracking system, and detailed values are not repeated because the set threshold is not a technical difficulty.
Specifically, after a background issues a task request to a tracking agent, the tracking agent firstly schedules a decision application report signaling to a user; when a user scheduling judgment device receives a user application report signaling notification, user scheduling firstly determines whether the number of users allowed to report a queue is full; if not, adding the user to a report-allowed queue; otherwise, adding a report forbidding queue to the user, and sending a report stopping signaling message to the tracking agent.
The background is also used for issuing a task stop request aiming at the user to the tracking agent;
after receiving the task stop request, the tracking agent sends a signaling for stopping reporting the application of the user to the user scheduling decision device;
when the user scheduling decision device further receives a signaling that the user stops reporting, and determines that the user is positioned in a reporting-allowed queue, the user scheduling decision device deletes the user from the reporting-allowed queue, selects one user from the reporting-prohibited queue, adds the user to the reporting-allowed queue, and sends a signaling message that the user is allowed to report to a tracking agent; and the user is deleted from the report forbidding queue. When a user is selected from the report forbidding queue and added to the report permitting queue, the user which firstly sends a report applying signaling in the report forbidding queue is selected and added to the report permitting queue according to the first-in first-out principle, so that the added user can realize the tracking service. Of course, the priority of the user may also be determined, for example, the user with the highest priority (service priority or user priority) is selected from the report prohibition queue and added to the report permission queue. The invention does not limit the principle of selecting users from the report forbidding queue.
Specifically, after a background issues a task stop request to a tracking agent, the tracking agent firstly schedules a decision application for a user to stop reporting signaling; when a user scheduling judgment device receives a signaling notification that a user stops reporting, determining which queue the user is in; if the user is in the report-allowed queue, deleting the user from the report-allowed queue, then taking out a user from the report-forbidden queue according to the first-in first-out principle, adding the report-allowed queue to the user, and sending a report-allowed signaling message to the tracking agent; and if the user is positioned in the report forbidding queue, deleting the user from the report forbidding queue.
After receiving the signaling reported by the user of the tracking agent, the user scheduling decision device reports the signaling reported by the user to the tracking master control when determining that the user is in the queue allowing reporting; and discarding the signaling reported by the user when the user is determined to be in the report prohibiting queue.
Specifically, after the user scheduling decision device receives a signaling reported by the tracking agent, it determines in which queue the corresponding user is located; if the user is in the queue allowing reporting, the user signaling allows reporting to the tracking master control; otherwise, the signaling is discarded, and a signaling message for stopping reporting is sent to the tracking agent.
The following generally describes a system for tracking users according to an embodiment of the present invention, with reference to fig. 1.

the tracking master control passes the verification and sends a corresponding task starting message to a tracking agent;

the tracking agent receives the signaling reported by the message user and sends the signaling to the user scheduling decision device;
the user scheduling judgment device judges whether the signaling of the user can be reported or not, and if the signaling is allowed to be reported, the signaling is sent to the tracking master control; otherwise, discarding the signaling and sending a message for stopping signaling report to the tracking proxy
And after receiving the signaling, the tracking master control sends the signaling to the background.

after the tracking master control passes basic verification, sending a task stop response to a background;
the tracking master control sends a task stop message to the tracking agent;
the tracking agent sends a signaling message for applying to stop reporting to the user scheduling decision device;
after receiving the message, the user scheduling decision device firstly determines which queue the user is in; if the user is in the report-allowed queue, deleting the user from the report-allowed queue, then taking out a user from the report-forbidden queue according to the first-in first-out principle, adding the report-allowed queue to the user, and sending a report-allowed signaling message to the tracking agent; and if the user is positioned in the report forbidding queue, deleting the user from the report forbidding queue.

And if the user is in the report prohibition queue, sending a report prohibition signaling message to the tracking agent, and prohibiting the user from reporting the signaling.
